Chapter 10

"Maddie, the behaviour you displayed was appalling-" "I know mom, here's my phone and how long am I grounded for?" I asked not really wanting to know the answer. "Well I'm not going to ground you this time-" "Oh, thank you mom" I said whilst hugging her. "Wait, why not?" I asked curiously.

"Abby spoke to me and said that you apologised to her. She also explained that you are having some trouble with your friends and that you just weren't having a good day. If you promise to never behave like this again we'll forget this even happened" she said smiling at me.

"I promise it will never happen again. I need to go inside now because class starts in a minute" I said whilst turning. "Alright sweetheart" I heard my mom say as I went through the door.

When I walked in Abby was getting up from her seat from behind the front desk. I ran around to her and gave her a big hug. "Thank you Abby" I said.

"You're welcome Maddie, but if this happens again I'm not gonna save you, okay" she said looking down at me. "Trust me, it won't happen again." I said.

I ran into the den and put my phone away. I then ran into studio A to stretch. Mackenzie was already in there at the bar working on her ballet steps. She's starting to get really good.

I decided to go over and work on my ballet steps with her. "Hey Mads" "Hey Kenze" "So, what did mom say" she asked curiously.

"Well, Abby spoke to mom and explained that I was having a bad day and I was having some issues with friends. So just this once she has decided not to ground me" I finished.

"Yay, I'm so glad you aren't grounded" she said whilst doing a tondue in derrière. "Hey Kenze, your heels out of line, and your foot is sickled" I said noticing her foot. "Really?" Mackenzie said looking down at foot.

"Can you fix it for me?" She asked. "Sure" I said whilst crouching down on the ground. As I was moving her foot into the correct alignment Abby walked in. "Do feel where that is Kenze?" "Yeah, it feels different" she said smiling down to me.

"Well it's in the correct position now" I said looking back up at her and returning the smile. "Maddie, I'm so glad you are back to your good old self" Abby said from behind me. I turned around and smiled at her.

"Alright, are you two stretched and ready to go?" Abby asked us. "Yep" we both said in unison. Abby went over to the door and stuck her head into the den. "Hurry up girls, class was meant to start five minutes ago" she yelled.

All the girls came in except for Chloe. Abby didn't notice though. "All right girls, group" she said whilst getting the music ready. We all got into our starting position. The music started and we started to dance.

Abby still didn't notice that Chloe was missing. It came to the part of the routine were Mackenzie was lifted up in the air by Nia and Chloe. Mackenzie didn't go up into the air and continued on with the dance.

The music stopped and we all turned around to Abby. "Mackenzie, what happened to your featured part? Do you not want to dance with the big girls?" Abby yelled at her.

"I couldn't go up in the air because only Nia was here to lift me up" she said with watery eyes. Please Mackenzie, don't cry. "Where is Chloe?" Abby asked us changing the subject. I saw Mackenzie relax.

"I think she's in the bathroom" Kendall said quietly. "For fifteen minutes" she yelled. Kendall jut shrugged her shoulders. "Well I guess Chloe doesn't want to be in this dance" Abby said.

Abby then reblocked the number to take Chloe out of it. I felt kinda bad considering its my fault that Chloe isn't in here yet. I gave her a blood nose. Although she deserved it, I'm not a big fat pillow as she called me.

We ran the number once more to make sure we remembered it this way. "Alright girls, take five and then Maddie I want to work on your solo" Abby said.

We walked out into the den to see that Chloe was siting next to her bag putting her dance shoes on. Kendall went over and explained that Chloe wasn't in the group any more.

"Why not?" She asked angrily. "Um, Abby thought you didn't want to be in the dance because you took so long in the bathroom" Kendall said softly. "Of course, I get the punishment because of stupid Maddie" she said glaring at me.

A/N: So I was going to update like 4 days ago but I got writers block. But I'm over that now and am back in full swing.
