Chapter 4

Abby's head stuck through the door as she called Chloe in to start her solo. At least Christie will be happy that Chloe is going first.

I went into studio B to work on my turns. I love doing turns, it helps to get my mind off things.

I decided to practice my fouettés because they're fun to do. I prepared and around I went. I closed my eyes and just let myself enjoy the turning sensation.

I kept turning and turning thinking this is what I love to do, dance. When I dance I let everything go.

I decided to open my eyes because I was starting to lose control. When I opened my eyes I saw a glimpse of bright pink in the room.

I looked at the bright pink thing and noticed it was Mackenzie standing in the corner watching me. I then realised I was falling.

How could I be so stupid, when you turn you need to spot properly or you lose balance. I fell to the ground and landed on my right wrist.

I bit my bottom lip to try and not show the pain to Mackenzie. But she already knew, she hurried over to me and crouched down next to me.

"Ok, move it this way, and then that way, and this way" she said as she pulled my wrist in all kinds of directions. "Ow" "Oh sorry" Mackenzie said as she quickly let go of my wrist.

She was so cute playing doctor. "I think it might just be a sprain" she said with a very serious voice. "Ok doctor Kenzie" I said giggling with a smile on my face.

She smiled back at me. Gosh I love my little sister. "Kenze" "Mm" "Why did you come in here in the first place" I said as she helped me up off the floor.

"I wanted to practice with you" she said with a little smile. I smiled to, I loved how she looked up to me so much.

We walked back into the dancer den. Kendall and Nia were sitting in the corner laughing at something on Kendall's phone. they looked up at us and then Kendall walked over to me.

"Nice turns" she said sarcastically. She showed me here phone. It turns out thy had gone up to the viewing room and videoed me falling out of my turn.

Oh, no wonder my wrist hurts so much, my whole body landed on it. I went over to my bag and grabbed out the bandage I kept in there just in case something happened.

Kendall and Mackenzie went and sat down with Nia whilst I wrapped my wrist. As I put the tape on to keep it in place Chloe came out of the studio.

"Your turn" she spat in my face as she glided past me to he other girls. I got up and went into the studio ready to learn my solo.
