Chapter 19.

Another month passed.

After dinner and putting Gahyeon to sleep, Siyeon hugged SuA and lay on the bed. Gahyeon's room is right next door and always has the door open, so is SuA Siyeon's room, if there is any problem with the baby, they can hear it clearly and rush to it in time.

Siyeon pursed her lips thinking she wanted to start a conversation with SuA. For the past month, she has occasionally mentioned going back to Korea to live, but SuA has either avoided the conversation or replied harshly. Every time SuA replied to Siyeon, Siyeon’s heart stopped, because of the heartlessness and insensitivity in those words.

SM and Wendy call her often and every time is a question when she will return to Korea to work. Siyeon could only answer roughly that she would arrange to return soon. The Lee family also called to ask this question because they really wanted to meet SuA and Gahyeon, and Siyeon could only answer the same.

Even though SuA was right next to her, she felt miserable. Kim SuA used to always snuggle into her arms to sleep, now no longer, she has to witness SuA’s bare back almost every night. SuA no longer wanted to see her.

There were days when she took the initiative to cuddle and make love to SuA, SuA gently followed, but SuA no longer had the same intensity as before.

There are nights when Siyeon hugs SuA from behind and automatically sheds tears in silence, she has no way of bringing old Kim SuA back to her side.

Maybe in the past few months, her love and care was not enough to get SuA's forgiveness...?

- Baby... - Siyeon called sweetly, breathing evenly on the back of SuA's neck.

- Tell me, why do you like living in this Dallas city?

Siyeon moved her arm that was no longer holding SuA, she jumped up, put on a thin shirt and walked out of the bedroom.

In the quiet night, Siyeon sat motionless in the living room, tears still silently falling without any sign of stopping.

She felt exhausted because she couldn't stand this pain, her bones and joints screamed in fatigue, her eyes also cried out in pain.

She couldn't let this situation continue like this, she needed to do something.

The sweeter and gentler she is to Kim SuA, the more heartless and cruel SuA is to her.

Siyeon decided to get up, she entered the room and saw SuA was fast asleep. Siyeon looked at the image for a moment and then moved. She was as gentle as possible, pulled out a total of 5 suitcases and began to organize her things.

She packed all her clothes and belongings, and all of Gahyeon's clothes, put everything in the suitcases, and then she called a taxi to go to the airport.

After putting the suitcases in the car, Siyeon gently took Gahyeon in her arms and walked out of the house.

She arrived at DFW airport, still holding Gahyeon tightly in her lap, and thanks to the support of the airport staff to pull the luggage for her, she bought a flight ticket to Korea.

Siyeon lightly kissed Gahyeon's lovely forehead while sitting in the flight lounge. This child is truly miraculous, being forced to travel so far but not waking up, still sleeping in a peaceful state unharmed.

SuA woke up as usual, today she had a zoom meeting with the leadership of DCC at 9am. She got out of bed and felt a little strange, the space unusually quiet.

Every day when she opened her eyes she would wake up to hear Gahyeon's cry or scream, or something clattering in the kitchen while Siyeon was preparing breakfast. But today she didn't hear anything, the house was as quiet as a temple.

SuA went into Gahyeon's room, but the baby was nowhere to be found.

- Singnie!! – SuA called out but there was no answer.

SuA thought maybe Siyeon was going out to buy something and took Gahyeon with, she casually went to the bathroom to clean herself.

After half an hour SuA started to enter the meeting room with the staff, she conducted the meeting for an hour and then ended. SuA stretched her shoulders to ease the fatigue of her joints and then she looked around the house again.

This silence made her feel a little scared, there was no ticking of the clock or the sound of the wind blowing, something must have happened.

SuA picked up the phone to call Siyeon but only heard the voice of the switchboard, which means Siyeon  turned off the phone.

SuA felt a little suspicious so she went back to the bedroom to check. She still remembers her conversation with Siyeon last night, where the two argued, ending with Siyeon’s crying and angrily walking out of the room. SuA was also trying to go to sleep at that time, so she didn't wait for Siyeon to come back to their room, she fell asleep like that.

Siyeon's wardrobe is empty.

- Oh... - SuA was surprised

She ran into Gahyeon's room and opened the closet door. Gahyeon's wardrobe is also completely empty.

Her heart beat fast, she picked up the phone to call Siyeon, but still the call center answered, which means this number has been turned off.

She recalled Siyeon's reaction last night….

- Thank you guys, give me your bank account number, I will transfer the service money to you - Siyeon bowed to the two airport staff, because she had to carry Gahyeon, she had to hire two employees at the airport to carry the luggage home.

Siyeon entered the house she just bought, she asked a colleague to do the house buying procedure and move all the furniture from the old house to the new house for her. When she gets home, she just steps in. The new house is bigger and nicer, costing quite a bit of Siyeon's money.

After more than 20 hours on the plane, Gahyeon woke up a bit and asked for breast milk, Siyeon had to use the formula milk she bought a few days ago for her baby. - Wow, the baby is so cute - Chenle raised his hand to hug Gahyeon's cheeks and caressed it, the baby didn't cry when she saw the stranger, on the contrary, she smiled excitedly. Siyeon finds it interesting when Chenle gets to know Gahyeon so quickly.

Siyeon couldn't answer Handong's question.

Grief sometimes makes her think, if only she didn't love SuA so much.

But Gahyeon appeared so she had no choice but to cherish and take care of both SuA and Gahyeon, she thought.

She thought that she would just ignore it all and just focus on lovingly taking care of SuA and Gahyeon.
