Chapter 4.

Seoul Arts and Culture Center.

- Now I know the details of your previous love - SuA said while sitting with Handong in a coffee shop near the center.

- So last night's date was with Siyeon? - Handong raised her eyebrows and asked.

- Yes.

- As expected, what's up, Siyeon must have talked bad about me a lot? – Handong laughed, she had doubted about these two since yesterday, it turned out that Siyeon was acting, Siyeon approached SuA faster than she thought.

- She just said that you control her too much, don't listen and decide everything on your own, she dates other people to have an excuse to break up with you.

- Siyeon is a very carefree person, she never plans anything and that makes me unhappy. Sometimes I feel like she's so childish and I'm like a nanny, I'm so tired but I always try to maintain the relationship.

- Siyeon wanted to break up with me but chose that bad way. When I knew I was betrayed, I was extremely angry, when I found out the reason Siyeon betrayed, I was even more angry.

- But you two were obviously happy together and even decided to adopt a child.

SuA turned to look at Handong, lost in thought.

- I don't have any intentions with Siyeon either - said SuA firmly, her gaze was steady, but she felt a bit confused inside.

Siyeon sat down to dinner with Wendy and two friends in the company, Wendy just finished a show.

- Where do you often go these days, sometimes you assign work to others? – Wendy asked Siyeon while eating.

- Go to meet the PR manager at Seoul Arts and Culture Center - Siyeon calmly replied.

- Meet for what? Is that center going to hold a concert?

- No, I like her so I want to meet her.

Wendy laughed for a reason that was crazier than she thought.

- Dating is good, when there is love, you will complain less about me.

- When did I complain about you? - Siyeon argued.

- The times when I behaved a bit too much in front of the camera, or the times when I blurted out curses - Wendy laughed.

- Is it wrong for me to complain? - Siyeon glanced at the person next to her and then moved her eyes around.

She has been working in SM Entertainment for several years now and has worked with many celebs. Siyeon has a duty to maintain the image of the celebs she manages, so she started to have a nagging personality as much as an Asian mother-in-law.

Wendy sometimes woke up late and couldn't attend the awards ceremony red carpet because she was busy recording last night, so Siyeon had to wake her up and grumbled a few words by the way. When Wendy was passionate about baking and accidentally burned her hands, Siyeon also had to complain to that girl to be careful.

Siyeon is inherently a person who always speaks sweet words, she does not like to be harsh with anyone, but thanks to the nature of her job, she has to frown a lot. And she inadvertently put those complaints on both Handong and Chenle in the past, she just wished someone would listen to her when she wanted to relieve stress, but Handong is not a listener, she always has to listen Handong.

- Dad, we talk about this almost every year at least once, but my answer is still no. I want to do what I love and feel comfortable – SuA said with a grimace.

- You should know that I have been very patient with you, both in work and in life. I don't agree with any of your decisions, but I'll always try to support you, you should know that.

- I know that and I am very grateful to you. Dad, you always told me to quit my current job, you always considered JiU as just an ordinary friend of mine, until me and her were about to get married, you still treated her coldly, treating her as stranger. I know all the things you are not satisfied with.

- And you see, JiU betrayed you - Kim Junsu emphasized.

- I already know, you don't need to repeat.

- I just wanted to tell you that your decisions sometimes you think are right, but in fact they are completely wrong. I don't want you to suffer, so I always warn you first.

- You don't want me to suffer, but your attitude has made me suffer, do you know that? – SuA coldly asked.

- SuA, your mother died early, so it's just the two of us, I never intended to make you suffer, because you misunderstood or couldn't understand.

- I never said I shunned DCC corporation, I just wasn't suitable for that job.

- The wedding I prepared for you was canceled and I suffered a loss, do you think you should do something to make up for this? go back to DCC and do it.

- If I knew that you were like that, I would never have agreed to let you sponsor the wedding - said SuA resentfully.

The conversation was long and fruitless, SuA quickly finished eating and asked for permission to go back home first.

She returned home exhausted. Lying in the hot tub to relieve stress, SuA looked up at the ceiling thoughtfully. She realized that the lack of sympathy from her family had caused her to withdraw and not want to tell anyone about her problems.

She thinks that no one can sympathize with her, not even the person she once loved so much, Kim JiU.

JiU has repeatedly asked her if she is okay when she is in a state of stress, but she chooses to keep quiet and go jogging, or go boxing to solve her mental problems.

Her mother died 8 years ago when she was still in school, she was shocked and panicked that night mom  didn't come home. There was a car going too fast and causing an accident.

SuA is inherently not compatible with father Kim, she can only talk and be comfortable with mother Kim. Since her mother’s death, she hoped that Mr.Kim would be replaced, but her expectations were not met, she was very disappointed.

Even Mr.Kim put pressure on her a few times, she stubbornly resisted and he gave in. She also puts pressure on JiU sometimes, possibly because she inherited it from her father.

The hot water made her feel somewhat relieved, SuA went to the living room to watch a movie, she saw that the trash bag was quite full and she got up to empty the trash.

When she opened the door, to her surprise, Lee Siyeon was standing right in front of.

SuA was stunned.

- Hello - Siyeon shyly said.

- Since when are you standing here?

- Hmm….about half an hour.

- Why don't you ring the bell? – SuA went to dump the trash in the big trash can on the sidewalk ten steps away from the door and then turned back to talk to Siyeon.

- Well… I was thinking about what to say to you before I rang the bell - Siyeon shyly replied, eyes blankly looking away.

- Why did you come here tonight? – SuA sighed, she was tired so she didn't have any interest in talking.

- I bought a chocolate latte for you, I hope to help you a bit - Siyeon held out a glass of water in front of SuA.

- Just now, I saw you having dinner with a certain man, Wendy and I also had dinner there, I saw that your face was a bit tense.

SuA took the chocolate latte, Siyeon was really kind and she couldn't be rude to Siyeon.

- Come in.

Siyeon entered the house, her face was calm but inside she felt overwhelmed because of SuA's whereabouts. SuA is an employee of Handong but it seems SuA’s fortune is much more than people imagine.

The table in the living room had a bottle of wine and a half-finished glass.

- Do you drink alcohol?

The two sat down on the sofa, SuA brought out another drink for Siyeon to drink. Siyeon saw on the TV screen a cartoon called Spongebob.

- Do you like watching cartoons? – she laughed when she learned of an unexpected hobby of SuA.

Kim SuA had a rather unapproachable aura when she first met SuA and it seems that SuA’s inner self is the opposite.

- This is very entertaining, isn't it? - SuA shrugged.

- So lovely - Siyeon took a sip of wine.

In the dimly lit room, SuA still felt her face turning a little red, not sure if it was due to alcohol or Siyeon's recent compliment.

- Who was that man just now? Someone in your family?

- How do you know, it's my father - SuA was surprised by Siyeon's correct judgment, this is not the first time.

- Having dinner like that is definitely not a work partner, it can only be a family.

SuA smirked, the three syllables family sounds full of warmth and fullness, but in reality, her family is only hers and chairman Kim. She lives with her father in a large and majestic house, the number of employees is more than the people in the house. After graduating from university and going out to work, she proposed living alone and leaving that house.

The number of people in the family was so small that they couldn't understand each other, which made her feel miserable.

- What problem do you have with your father?

SuA was silent, her heart confused with conflicting thoughts, she hesitated whether to tell or not, because this is not what she usually does.

- You must have been under a lot of stress, so you have to watch cartoons to relieve yourself?

- Perhaps you don't need to ask any more questions, because you already understand - SuA smiled lightly.

- So you tend to close yourself up when you're stressed.

SuA looked at Siyeon silently, she focused on the pupil that appeared in front of her eyes, trying to find something she could trust.

- Normally, for a single girl who lives in such a large and beautiful house, they will often have parties, and you would drink alone and watch cartoons – Siyeon said.

- You are an interesting person.

- I feel like I'm a boring person - SuA looked down at the wine glass, turning the stem of the glass with her hand.

She has many friends thanks to JiU, when she fell in love with JiU, she made a lot of friends. But now she is alone, in the working environment she is not too close to anyone, the closest person is Handong because Handong is her boss, the two always have to meet to work, but to say the relationship as close friends do not.

- Only you think so.

- My father always disagrees with my decisions. He doesn't like the job I'm doing, he doesn't like the people around me – SuA began to confess, this pleasant evening, plus the delicious glasses of red wine, she feels that she has lost her reason already.

- Why?

- I don't know, maybe that's one of his characteristics. He always wanted me to work for the family company, but I didn't like it and chose another industry, or maybe this is the reason why he always disliked my decisions.

- What about your mother?

- My mother died early when I was in college, 8 years have passed.

- Are you an only child?

- Right.

- Maybe your father was too lonely to want you to be with him, but you didn't, so he was disappointed.

- But I cannot sacrifice my personal needs to please him.

- Your father needs time to understand that, please be patient - Siyeon rubs SuA's small back.

SuA is shy because of this physical contact. Siyeon touched her twice, once in front of the pub gate, the second time this time. She was very clear about her unnamed emotion on those two occasions, she could not form it yet.

The two watched the movie together and talked for a while, then SuA suddenly fell asleep, nodding down on Siyeon's shoulder.

Siyeon looked at SuA in surprise, then kept holding that position for a while, feeling extremely peaceful in her heart.

Maybe she really likes Kim SuA, even if it's only for a very short time. When she told Wendy she liked SuA, it was just a passing word and had no intention.

But now it has come true.

What is the reason she likes SuA, she doesn't know, is it after knowing that SuA is suffering from emotional trauma in relationships, she has a feeling of wanting to care for SuA?

Not really, because she had met many girls who were also hurt like that, but the one who made her want to know and care, was only Kim SuA.

SuA is currently her priority these days, every time she wants to see SuA, she is willing to quit her job to drive to SuA, she doesn't care if she is scolded by her boss or Wendy.
