After we finished celebrating Madison's birthday, the decision was made to chill and watch movies at Zo's new house.

Earlier today, he called up Kyle to see if we were down to chill. That being said, Kyle, Madison, Melo, and I were in the range on our way to Lonzo's new crib.

Slide Around by Chance the Rapper was playing faintly in Kyle's car.

Mads insisted on getting in the front so I could sit in the back with Melo, but I really wanted to sit with her. She was only here for a couple of days after all.

"Have you seen the house, Melo?" Kyle asked out of curiosity, he shifted his attention back to the gps that was on his phone.

"Nah I ain't been over here yet, but I heard it's pretty nice. Yeah, he livin' comfortably out here." Melo looked out his window seeing all the big ass houses pass by. It was nothing new to him though.

We drove through a gated neighborhood all the houses were beautiful. There wasn't one house that was small or run down. I crossed over Melo looking out his window so I could see the other houses.

"Damn, you really like these houses don't you Maya?" Melo let out a laugh, holding me by my waist.

"Uh yeah. I'm kind of tired of living the apartment life. I want to live in a house again." I groan. Ever since I moved in with Kyle, I missed my old house back in Flint. I had my own bathroom connected to my bedroom. My room was also on the opposite side of the house from my parents so they wouldn't hear my music when I blasted it at 2 am.

Kyle is the loudest, always has been. Whenever he plays the game, he can never shut up. Our rooms are right next to each other.

"You can always come live with me, baby."

"Melo, you're too funny." I let out a chuckle. Living at the estate just sounded interesting to say the least. No matter how big that house was, I would probably hear Lavar from wherever he was.

"I'm serious, you can stay in my room and we can spend more time together," He smirked and his grasp on me became a little tighter. Not having my seatbelt on allowed him to pull me closer, "alone."

A smile crept on my lips. The thoughts started pouring in and there were quite of few things I wanted Melo to do to me..

"Yeah how about no." Kyle intercepts. The little eavesdropper always ruins the fun.

Madison stifles a laugh.

"Suck my dick, hoe." I retort earning oo's from Melo and Madison.

"Man that's why you ain't got not friends. Hobo." Kyle with the comeback.

"Shut up longneck. That's why you never get girls."

At this point I had Melo laughing his ass off in his seat. Okay, so I was funny.

"Yeah sure."

We finally pulled into a driveway of a beautiful three story home. The grass on the front lawn was bout' green as hell.

"Yeah this definitely where the white folk live." Mads snickered beside me as we walked to the front door.

Kyle rung the door bell and a few small moments later, Dmo appeared.

"Hey family." He gave us a smile.

"What's good, pinto bean." Melo held out his hand to dap Dmo up.

Dmo just gave him a look.

"Anyways welcome to the crib." Dmo greets us after he daps Kyle up. He opens the french doors wider so we could step in.

The main hall had a tall ceiling and hanging was a sparkling chandelier.

"What's up my people." Zo peeped his head from one of the corners. One of the camera guys followed behind him.

"Hi Lonzo.. Zoey!" I run to snatch Zoey from Zo's arms. She hugged me tightly.

"Awh man she's so cute." Madison followed close behind me.

"Oh yeah, Zo this is my best friend, Madison." I introduce her.

They shook hands, "Nice to you meet you, Madison. I'm Lonzo but you can call me Zo." He stared at her intently and she gave him a bright smile.

"It's nice to meet you too." Madison replies. My brother made a small grunt from beside me.

"Anywho.. wow Zo. This place is huge. Congrats on your new house."

"Ay thanks, Maya. You know it's sum light. Gotta have the kid living nicely." He shrugs messing with Zoey and she giggled in my hands. There was no sign of Denise.. but that was none of my business.

"Can I hold her?" Mads asks and Zo nods in approval. Carefully, I put Zoey in Madison's arms. This time, Zoey did not have a near death experience.

Melo daps his brother up.

"MK, why they got paparazzi in here?" Madison whispered in my ear.

"They're filming for they're show." I laugh. Sometimes I forget that Melo and his family had their own show. The people would follow them everywhere, they could never catch a break. Not to mention those camera niggas catch everything. On the Maui trip, Melo and I would have to shut and lock his bedroom door just to kiss. We weren't really with that PDA shit, but it was hard when a camera crew follows your boyfriend around almost everyday.

"Damn nigga we finna get lost in here." He pulled my hand and we travelled through the first hallway together.

"Wait slow down." I tried to pick up my feet but with Melo and his tall ass, I could never catch up.

He opened a room up and it revealed a nicely decorated bathroom, "Boring."

Another room was filled with baby Zoey's toys, a play room

"Boring."

The next room had led lights lining the walls and 3 televisions with playstations under. The gaming room.

"Okay we gettin somewhere." Melo entered the room and picked up a controller. I did the same. We were gonna be here for a while.-

"Miss me miss me now you gotta kiss me." I teased.

I had just won in Madden for the 2nd time today. Melo claimed that it was something wrong with his controller but I didn't think that was the problem.

"Okay, I will." Melo gets up from the gaming chair and struts over to me. Pulling me up and into his chest, he lifted my face.

I stood on my tippy toes in attempt match his height. In moments, a kiss took place. I could never get enough of those big ass pink lips of his. He slowly pushed me back until I plopped on a couch that was in the corner of the room. I pull him down.

I wanted more.

Melo deepened the kiss, seeping his tongue into my mouth. I let out a soft moan and Melo pulls back.

"Maya, you don't realize what you do to me, mane." His gazed at me, shaking his head. He ran his fingers on the top of his hair then covered his face. A shock of warmth surges through me. Something is definitely wrong with my heart and it's Melo's fault.

He came close again but this time he went for my neck and started sucking.

"Mm, Melo wait I have a t-shirt on they're gonna see it."

"I gotta let em know you're mine."

Fortunately more like unfortunately.. no dirty deeds were done in Lonzo's gaming room. The sound of footsteps made us pause in our place. It was one of the camera guys. It didn't matter though, I was hungry anyway. Once Zo's personal chef was done making the homemade pizza, Melo and I were racing to the dinner table.

Yeah, Melo could get it but.. not on a couch. That's just un classy on my part.

Laughing and snickering, we made our way to the kitchen. The pepperoni pizza was calling my name. It was time to dig in.

Zo was on the couch with Zoey, helping her eat her slice of pizza. Kyle and Madison were watching the basketball game that was being streamed on the tv.

"I thought we was watching a movie." I said, confused.

"We are we just waiting for Gelo and Jaden. They should be here in like 5." Dmo explained.

Once I got my slice of pizza, I sat on the other side of Madison. She smiled but then did a double take looking at the right side of my neck.

"You naughty little girl. Is that a hickey I see?" She shook her head.

"Oh hush." My face heated up, I didn't realize how noticeable it was but I knew there would be there. Melo had no shame. We snickered and Kyle looked our way.

"The fuck you lookin at? Doofus."

"Yo big head, M" He rolled his eyes. Madison let out a laugh.

"G3 in the building." I could hear Gelo from down the hall.

"Let em know!" Melo said, laughing.

"G huncho." Zo shouted, cupping his mouth with his hands.

"What's good brother." I sat my pizza down on the table and I dapped Gelo up.

"Wassup Maya. You good?"

"Im straight." I replied and I was. Things were going good for me right now. I thought..

Jaden appeared from behind Gelo and I pushed him out the way.

"Jaden!"

"Maya!" We both went in for a hug.

"Oh here they go." Melo said, his mouth full of pizza.

"Right, they really be actin like they a couple." Gelo grumbled.

"Oh, get over yourself, G. You already know I love you." Jaden said.

Later on Madison met Gelo and Jaden but she really didn't click with Jaden like I did. It was fine though.

"Okay we finna watch It 2."

I hate scary movies so I let out a groan. Couldn't we just watch My Little Pony or sum? Ugh.

After Melo finished eating up all the pizza, he sat on the couch. He must've noticed me tense so he pulled out his phone.

I moped over to him not ready for all of the jumpscares I had to prepare myself for but his warm touch instantly made me a little calmer. -I stretched my limbs and let out a silent yawn. It was the next day and after we had finished hanging at Lonzo's place, we headed home. Melo tried to convince me to stay the night at Zo's place, as he was but when the you add my brother to the mix plans failed and I ended heading back to the apartment. It was either that or him sleeping in the middle of us in one of the guest rooms.

I turn to the left side of the bed to see if Madison was still sleeping. The space beside me wasn't filled, it was empty.

Assuming she woke up to cook something as per usual, I lift myself from the bed to search for her. The apartment was awfully quiet and it didn't really smell like breakfast was being made..

Well okay.

I tiptoe to the living room first.

Empty

The kitchen was just as vacant and I began to get a little worried. My best friend wouldn't leave without telling me.. right? My heart broke at the thought.

Nah that's crazy talk.

Maybe Kyle had an idea of where she was, seeing as I had no damn clue.

Not caring to knock I slowly opened his door. He had to be sleep.

What came into view was something I never thought I would see in my seventeen years of life.

Kyle, my brother had no shirt on and groped my half naked best friend. They were laid up as if it was natural. Suddenly all the puzzle pieces were being put together. It felt as if my head going to explode. The long hugs to her sitting in the front seat, and them always sitting together and talking whenever the option was open. It was all clear to me now.

"Get out, Maya!" Kyle commanded throwing a pillow at the door way.

"Gladly." I slam the door shut hot tears ran down my face. I quickly walked down the hallway hearing a faint 'wait' but it didn't stop me. I grabbed my phone and my shoes. I didn't know where I was going but I knew I wasn't staying here.

My best friend was fucking my brother.
