Leaving Maui was a little depressing.

The trip itself was amazing. All the pretty scenery, the sunrises, sunsets and the beautiful beach.

There was also something that Maui brought me closer to.

Melo.

Maui would always be the place where LaMelo Ball asked me to be his girlfriend. Never in my life I thought I would say that but here we are now and I wouldn't change it for the world. I couldn't even began to describe my feelings for Melo but I knew that it was something I never felt before. These feelings slowly continue to grow everyday. Sooner or later the bomb was going to explode.

The plane ride from Maui to the states went smoothly. When I took the first step off the plane, I knew I would have to come back to reality.

"Ugh can we just get back on the plane and go back to Maui please?" I groan and look up at Melo as we walk through the terminal.

He squeezed my hand and shook his head, "I wish we could, shawty. But it's gone be aight, soon imma take you on a trip to the Bahamas next. Just me and you." That sounded promising. I just let out a sigh and observe the security from the window taking out the luggages from off the plane.

Melo and I sat in the unsanitary ass airplane chairs in a comfortable silence while we waited for our bags to taken get from baggage claim.

"You ready to go Maya? We got our things." Kyle asked from behind us. I had almost forgot that we came separately from the Ball family which also meant that I would have to unfortunately depart from my boyfriend too. I got up from the chair and so did Melo. He brung me into a warm hug.

"Do y'all gotta go just yet?" Melo asked in a whiney voice. He grabs onto me tighter.

"Yeah, Melo I'm tired as hell I'm trynna get to my bed." Kyle shook his head. Kyle had been awfully distant this whole trip but I couldn't understand why. It was a bit odd but he seemed happy so I wasn't going to bother him.

I looked up at Melo, still in his arms, "I'll see you in a lil bit okay?" I assure him. Melo really didn't want to let me go.

I reach up on my tippy toes and I quickly press my lips to his cheek. He still frowned down on me.

"What?"

"I can't get no kiss on the lips?"

"No nigga. We don't do PDA." That kiss on the cheek was really cutting it. The camera were always on.

"You lame for that." He smacked his lips. I just let out a laugh.

I go over to the rest of the Ball family.

"Thanks for letting us come on this trip Lavar and Tina. I had so much fun." I hug them both.

"Anytime! You never not gone have fun with the Big Baller!" Lavar exclaimed.

"Love you." Tina smiles at me.

"Love you too Tina."

"See you Gelo, Jaden and Zo." I hug them one by one.

"See you, kid." Zo pats the top of my head and I send a glare his way.

"Bye Maya. I'll probably see you very soon you'll be over to see yo lil nigga over there."He pointed to a gloomy looking Melo.

I shook my head.

"You right I'll probably be over tomorrow or something." I admitted Gelo.

Melo was such a baby.

Jaden hugged me last, "See you later, dude. We're hanging soon."

"For sure."

I turned off the water. I had just finished taking a much needed hot shower. After being on that plane for 6 hours it was mandatory for me to take a nice shower.

Young Thug's new album, So Much Fun blasted through my bluetooth speaker.

The song that was currently playing was Bad Bad Bad. It went hard.

My phone vibrated from on the bathroom counter.

I laugh to myself and turned off my phone.

Melo was being clingy as hell but I didn't mind it. I loved the attention he gave me. He made my heart swell.

It was now 7:30 at night and I was bout ready to jump in my bed and never come out. I'm so happy it's summer break because I wouldn't have to wake up the next day for school but summer didn't mean I couldn't stop thinking about school fully.

It was time to start applying for colleges. My future was closer and closer everyday.

I headed to my room to get changed into my pajamas.

I wore one of Melo's shirts I stole when he wasn't looking some grey soft loose sweatpants.

I plopped down on my bed on my bed and turned on my tv getting ready to watch Netflix.

There was a incoming call from my phone.

It was a group face time with Eli, Ant, Melo, Lena, and Audrey.

I accepted.

"Shut the hell up bitch." Eli said.

"You shut up ugly." Ant retorts.

"Oop, hey guys."

"Oh my gosh hi Maya!" Lena greets me.

"Hey girll! We missed you. How was Maui?" Audrey asks.

"Really fun. I'm sad I had to leave." I frown in the camera.

"Wassup, Maya." Ant yells from the other end.

"Hey Ant what's good?"

Before he could start to speak, Melo cuts him off, "Hey baby! I miss you." He shouts through the phone.

"Hi Melo, I miss you too." I reply.

"Oh hell nah, yaw got me messed up. How yaw already miss each other when you went on a full ass family vacation together. smh." Eli says shaking his head in the camera.

We all laugh.

"What y'all doing?" I ask.

"I'm editing instagram pics." Audrey answers.

"We watching a movie." Eli replies for him.

"I'm plain 2k with Melo." Ant answered.

"Hop on, shawty." Melo says wanting me to play with them.

"I'm tired. I think I might take a nap." I groan.

"Don't go to sleep." Melo picks up his phone and hangs up.

"Oh?" I say. And I get another private face-time call with just Melo.

"Ight imma head out. See you guys." I say and end the call.

The face-time connects and Melo was dancing in the screen.

"What the hell are you doing, baby?"

"I'm dancing."

He could not dance for his life.

I adjust my pillow.

"Wait a minute. Is that my t-shirt?" He gets closer to the camera. I try to bring the phone closer to my face so he couldn't see his shirt.

"Maybe." I try to stiffen a laugh.

"Oo lemme see my shit on my baby." I sat the camera down on my dresser and I reveal his big t-shirt I finessed.

"Oh yeah. That look good on you. Turn around do a 360."

I spin.

"Damn my baby thick." I roll my eyes.

"Shut up Melo." I loved it when he did little shit like that. He laughed showing his pearly whites. His smile never failed to do something to me.

He really be having my heart beat irregular.

I looked back at the screen and caught him staring at me.

"If you keep looking that sexy, imma have to come over right now." My face heated up.

"I don't think Kyle would like that very much." I let out a laugh.

"Yeah he wouldn't." Kyle said from behind and I jumped. He scared the shit out of me.

"Damn you scared me Kyle." I scold him.

"Oh wassup Kyle."

"Hey Melo. If I find you in my baby sister bed tonight with no clothes on, Imma cut yo dick off." Kyle says smiling sinisterly.

"Kyle get out." I roll my eyes. Kyle was a chill brother but sometimes he would turn on overprotective mode. Yeah me having a boyfriend was new but damn.

"Hey come out into the living room real quick." Kyle tells me.

"For what Kyle? I'm tired as hell."

"Just come on, M."

"Imma call you back okay?" I told Melo.

"Okay don't be long, shawty."

I ended the face-time call.

I follow Kyle out into the living room tired and irritable but I couldn't believe what was in front of me.

More like who was in front of me.
