Dallas POV:Β

I aimlessly walked on the streets, stumbling slightly from the beats. I had fought Tim Shephard, and I wasn't goin' to let his dumb fuck beat the tar outta me. I slashed his tires, I don't regret it. Besides, he deserves it. He was the one Sylvia two-timed me with. That little broad..

Well, I wasn't the type of guy to carry a blade. Just like Tim's brother, Curly, had. He had a blade sayin' 'if in case' I didn't play fair. I surely did carry my unloaded gun. It served me well, they really thought it was armed with real ammunition...Idiots.

I was still walking down the street, when I saw the movie house. Just thinking about movies gave me a stomach twist. Thinking of that red-head.I couldn't believe she had real red hair. Seems fake to me.. I mean girls nowadays change their hair colors I guess. She was a real pretty broad alright, a fierce Soc I like 'em like that.Didn't get that girl's name though.

Almost passin' by the movie house, I saw a girl, crying and sniffing her lungs out.She was really shakin', I thought for a bit she was havin' a seizure. I didn't want to talk but I saw her there, probably even hyperventilating.

"Hey." I said more in a calm tone, then a question. Wasn't my intention but I gotta hang on to it.

She tensed at the sound of my voice, seeming to consider before lookin' up. I could see the tear stains on her cheeks, and the small droplets dripping from her jaw. I felt her check me out..like bones and all. I felt somewhat uncomfortable.. She didn't look like any broads you see on the streets. Like the Socs or middle class, she was a Grease; crying and by the long looks, she was surely judging me. Then she looked down, mumbling a small "Hi." as she wiped the tears away. I stared at her neck, bloody. She was beat.. And worse than I. At his I frowned, "Doll look at me. Why are you out here all by yourself?" She looked up, locking eyes with mine. "Were you crying? The light reflected light off your face.." I lit my cigarette and looked at her. "Y-yeah...I was." I rolled my eyes at her simple response. "Why?"

"It's for no reason..nothing." Again I rolled my eyes. I decided to sit beside her to make her face me."Look Doll, I'm not the best in hearin' out people, but there's no reason you should cry like that for 'Nothin'."

Still stubborn she didn't say, pulling her legs to her chest. "It's nothing..really."

"Bullshit..just be honest..I'm not goin' to judge ya unless it's stupid." She sighed and hid her face again. "Some group of Socs jumped me.."

"They h-harassed me..I ran..I ain't tough enough..I was scared..."

I was thinking of Johnny, the same look of fear he had when the Socs jumped him. I never got my hands on those bastards, mostly because Johnny wouldn't say much of a word 'bout 'em. But now I had more Socs to take care of. This is the damn reason I hate those assholes. They pick on us because of why? Because they think they're better than us. Β She zoned out, but was silently crying. I hated to see people cry..It made me feel awkward. What was I supposed to do?Well I damn sure know that I'll beat the tar outta those motherfuckers.

"Hey uh Doll, Whatsya name?"

"Y/n..Y/n L/n.."Β

I stood up, thinking on taking her to the Curtis. She'd be alright in there, better safe than never. "Yeah well..you shouldn't be out here by your lonesome.. I could walk you to the Curtis' house, they ain't busy and besides won't mind if you stay there. So what'dya think? Would you like to go?"

"Yeah Β I'll go." I smiled.. Man..There's sum different 'bout this chick that made me feel..something. Shit I don't know how to say this kinda stuff but..whatever. "Alright, just don't lose me. I'm not coming back for you if you do."

I'm not goin' to say the rest 'cause I don't fucking remember...though something she said pissed me off. 'Bout not carrying a weapon. For Heaven's sake why was she this stupid? But I didn't really mean to call on her, It's just dangerous when someone's lonely and vulnerable. When we arrived to the Curtis she was greeted, I never knew they knew her. If that makes sense. I was trying to stay out of their clumsiness bullshit when I left to the kitchen but Two-bit followed soon after.

"Mad already?" He smirked, while rummaging through the refrigerator. "Don't start Keith, I'm not in the best mood right now."

He shrugged."I'm not startin' Dal, Just have in mind she ain't yours."

I rolled my hands into fists, taking a deep breath. Yet.."When did I say she was mine?"

"I can see the way you look at her. I don't blame ya..She's hella pretty."

He walked out without a single word. I got more damned pissed than I was before.. Probably because he was right.. Did I like this chick?
