Ailee's pov

(a year later, Jc is now 3 and can talk clearly and walk steady)

I woke up on the couch, everyone else was awake already dal was gone, my gut is so sore from a recent..fight with steve, but I feel better.

"Did we wake ya baby?" johnny asked Playing with my hair, "nope I just darted awake for some reason" I said sarcastically and smirking

"Golly, you n Blaze are 100% related" he said

"Yep, that's kinda the point of Biological brother n sister" blaze said smirking

I chuckled as the rest of the boys shook their heads.

(few minutes later, watching tv)

Dal walked in the door bloody faced and looked like a busted knuckle or 2

"The hell happened to you Dallas??" I asked sternly but worried,

"Chill kid, I got jumped by Shepard n his gang but I beat em." he said like he ain't worrried

"Don't act like it ain't nothin dal, them bastards coulda had a loaded heater or some shit, Yknow they hate your guts." I said in one breath

"Ok ok, but I'm alright kid, I swear i am" he said softly and reassuringly

Jc ran outta our bedroom and hopped up n down tryna grab dal's hand, Dal crouched down, and Jc crawled in his lap and layed down sideways.

"Imma go for a walk, anyone wanna join?" johnny said

"Me!" Jc yelled smiling

"Reckon so, I'm bored." I said

"Guess I'll walk with y'all" pony said

"Alrighty then, let's go" johnny said, Jc ran I'm between me n Johnny and we eached grabbed one of his hands softy swinging him back n forth as he giggles.

"Hey one of y'all wanna race me to the park?" pony asked

"Ooh me!" Jc said

"Ohh tough match kiddo, let's see how speedy you are" pony said chuckling

Jc let go of our hands started running In front of us, pony chased after him pretending to slow. Me and Johnny got to the park, pony and Jc were wrestling in the grass, they both got up panting, me johnny and pony sit on the fountain watching Jc play on the playground.

A red mustang pulled up, it wasn't Randy's car or his group, it was Bob's little group and a few others. 6 boys got out and we stood up, Jc ran to is hiding behind mine and Johnny's legs

"Well well well, what do we have here, the boys that killed Bob, that pretty little slut, and the little rat Randy went soft for" a boy with blondish hair said, apparently his name is Paul.

"What the hell do you assholes want now" I said with a stern tone,

"I think you know sweetheart" he said pushing me back a bit, his group of 5 took on Johnny and pony, Paul came after me, Jc was behind me holding on to me scared.

"Don't do some shit you'll regret Paul, just don't." i said worried for Jc.

"What? You think imma kill your little boy here?" he stated flipping out his switchblade smirking

"Jc..buddy run, find Dally" i said quietly but so he can hear me, He stumbled a bit but ran torward the house, I already taught him pathways around here.

"Ain't no one gonna help ya darling" he scowled licking his lips

I heard johnny call me screaming at Paul threatening to kill him.

Pony and johnny were getting beat pretty bad I think..

"Your so called husband, is gonna watch you die" he said suddenly with a smirk.

He punched me as I was gazing off listening to Johnny get hurt

I fell to the ground holding my mouth as my lip bled.

I stood up and kicked his leg, I grabbed his throat and shoved him into the fountain wall, he turned around and tried to punch me, I grabbed his wrist and spun around him, i grabbed his neck n kicked his leg making him fall to his knees, i slammed his head into the fountain 3 times, then I collapsed because my stomach is still hurt bad. Paul wiped the blood off his face groaning in pain leaning against the fountain

"F-fuck..off Paul" I said in a pained voice holding my stomach.

He picked me up by my jaw and threw me down into the concrete, he punched my head from the side, then stood up. He put his foot on my chest pinning me, i went into a coughing fit not being able to breathe...

Dally's pov

After Ailee and the boys left i decided to go hunt for action like always. I went down my usual allyway taking a shortcut to the Drive -in

I heard a small voice call me, but I thought nothing of it. I heard it again, and saw Jc walking down the street past the ally I'm in, I quickly ran up to him, "t-trouble p-par-k" he said outta breath stuttering scared

"Alright come on bud" I said picking him up, I jogged to the park seeing Ailee on the ground, Paul pinning her down as she's struggling, pony and Johnny were fighting the other few guys.

I set Jc down, " stay here pal" he sit on the grass sniffling and then I ran to ailee, Paul looked up and seen me then I punched him backwards, Ailee rolled over coughing dryly with a raw sound in her throat, the other 5 guys looked at me, they ran to their knowing they can match me, Paul went with them n drove off.

Johnny's pov

I exhaled relieved laying on my back when they drove off, I spit up a mouth full of blood, I looked over at pony who already got up and leaned against the fountain, Ailee was on her knees coughing, so i forced my self to get up and sit beside her. Dally went over to pony making sure he's okay

"B-baby you ok??" i asked

She put her head on my shoulder and nodded

I helped her stand up, and dal helped pony. I started looking around for Jc, "he's up there johnnycakes" dal said pointing to the grass mound

"I can walk dal, go get Jc" Pony said

Dal nodded and ran up to Jc, he picked him up and walked back to us. We finally got to the house , walked in,

Two-bit's pov

"What in the Mickey mouse happened to yall???" I asked setting my beer on the table

"Eh...soc's" Ailee said

"I knew itd start again..." i said shaking my head

Jc's eyes were redish and puffy as he walked over to me, I sit down on the floor, he climbed up on me and hugged me, I hugged him back

"Awe you poor kid" I said softly

"I wish he hadn't seen all that..damn" dal said shaking his head

Ailee started coughing,

"You sick? N why ain't you talkin?" i asked

She shook her head coughing

"Man she can't talk right now two" johnny told me

"What? Wait why?" I asked curiously

"Paul had her throat in a tight grip n he had her pinned by her chest, it f- screwed up her voice or something" he said "and Jc had to watch that shit..now I feel weak as hell for not being able to stop them, but there were 6 of them and..and me n pony couldn't take 5 at once" he added in one breath

"Johnny chill man, it's alright it ain't your fault" dal said

"Yea, it ain't your fault, it's them dumb soc's" i said

He nodded and took Ailee's hand sitting on the couch

"I-i don't like them" Jc stuttered

"We don't either buddy, all they do is cause trouble" i said

Then steve walked in the door..

He looked Ailee then she gave him a death glare

"What's wrong darling, afraid to speak or something?" he said

She opened her mouth to talk then had a coughing fit

"Don't start Steve." Johnny said in a warning tone

I just glared at him.

Ailee stood up, and limped over to him face to face.

"What princess gonna make an insult? Oh wait- ya can't" he said chuckling

"L-l-leave mama a-alone!" Jc said loudly and stuttering

"Or...what kid?" Steve questioned

Jc looked up at him, he wiped the tears from his eyes

"When I get older, i-im gonna hurt you like you did her n daddy.." he said

"Uh-huh..well hate to break it to ya, but I'll always be stronger then- Jc cut him off before he finished that sentence "W-we will see.." he said walking back to me

"Atta boy, your just like your mom" i told him

He smiled n rested his head on me.

"Ain't gonna stick up for your broad this time johnnycakes?" Steve said

"Man what changed with you? You wasn't like this." Johnny replied.

"Evie dumped me dumbass, for another greaser boy the same day you n this broad hooked up." Steve answered,

"So how's doing this 3 years straight helping man" johnny told him

"I fucking hate seeing you two have my damn dream" Steve said

Ailee went to the kitchen and got i guess water? No clue.

Ailee's pov

I went to the kitchen n got some water, i walked back to the living room facing Steve.

"Two can you cover Jc's ears for a a second?" I asked him.

He nodded n covered Jc's little ears,

"How the fuck does fucking up someone's life improve your goddamn well-being Randle" i asked strictly,

"I don't know, it just fucking does alright, I can't stand you two being so Damn perfect- he began til i cut him off, "whatever randle, so what if we actually enjoy our life, I chose the right person that's why i love my life okay, but look Steve, I found my self, my life by leaving the past. Forgetting the ones to hurt me, don't think I ain't ever been hurt, cuz I Damn sure have. Put the pain behind you start new. Even when you fucked up johnny's side in that fight, I got over it afterwards, it took awhile but I did. I got over the fact that my parents beat the shit outta me, I got over the fact that you kicked my ass when i was already fucking hurt. I got over the past because the past is fucking done Steve, The past is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, Today is a gift, that's why it's called the present. What's done is done, leave it behind you, Behind us for the gangs sake, Everyone's tired of it Even soda" I said clearly in a serious but kind tone.

"Damn.." dal said breaking the silence.

"Alright Ailee..I'll put everything behind m- behind us..." he smirked as he spoke in a giving in tone

"Good, now no starting shit okay?" i said, he nodded.
