Chapter 32

23:13, 30 July 2014

"Hi." I sat on the couch next to Tom. "Can I have some noodles?" He asked, I nodded and fed him a mouthful. "How are you?" Angie asked me. I watched Cody sit down next to me. "I'm okay." I smiled. "Are you sure?" Brad pushed a little. "I'm coping." I rephrased my answer.

"You know that we're right here if you need anything." Angie smiled warmly. "I know." I returned the gesture. "So you guys cleared out the whole closet?" Cody changed the subject which I was massively grateful for. I know they were just being nice and supportive but talking about it is accepting it and I'm not ready for that yet.

"Yes. It took like three hours and then we started packing my room up." I said. "Shh! I'm watching TV." Tom hushed us. "We're taking the clothes that don't fit me and that I don't want to charity tomorrow." I smiled. "That's a good idea." Angie said. "Thank you." I smiled. "We found my 'thing 1' shirt from disney." I said.

"That was so long ago." She remembered. "I still haven't forgiven you for what you did to me." Cody said which made Tommy laugh. "You looked so stupid, walking around with slushy all over you." "Shut up." Cody pushed him playfully.

"Almost as stupid as the time you thought I was drowning." I giggled. "Shut up!" He nudged me. "Can you believe that the holiday was nearly a year ago?" Brad asked. "That means we first started dating a year ago almost." I looked at Cody. "Time flies." He smiled back at me.

"Alright, you finished?" Cody asked once he'd finished his food. I nodded and we both got up. We put our things in the kitchen and said good night before going upstairs. "I'm gonna go talk to Alli." Cody said. "Okay, I'm getting in the shower." We seperated in the hall. I took a quick shower and changed into some underwear and one of Cody's shirts.

I dried my hair in the bathroom and made sure I looked decent before going into the bedroom. Cody was laying flat on his stomach on the bed. His arms were hiding his head. I crawled over to him and lifted his arm up before dropping it back down with my face next to his.

"You don't hate me, do you?" He asked quietly after a few minutes of silence. "No." I spoke softly. "I think she does." "She doesn't." "She said she does." "She's mad. Girls say things when they're mad." "I think she's right. I don't deserve you." "Cody.." I chuckled slightly. Cody sniffed which signified to me that he was crying.

"I've messed up and it's never going to be the same." "She's not even your girlfriend so why does she get to make you feel like this?" "She's your best friend. She's going to tell me the things that you're too afraid to tell me." "Well, I don't hate you. I don't think it's never going to be the same. This is our relationship, not yours and my best friend's." I said.

"I just love you so much and I'm scared you don't believe me." "Of course I believe you. Not everyday a guy spends six-hundred dollars on his girlfriend." I giggled. I heard Cody laugh a little. "So don't get used to it." He finally uncovered his face.

"I don't like seeing you upset." I wiped his wet cheeks. "You think I enjoy seeing you upset?" He asked. "No but you never cry. Hardly ever. I don't like it." "I'm sorry." "Don't be." I smiled to reassure him. "What do I have to do to get that ring back on your finger?" "It was on my finger but Alli made me take it off." "See this is what I mean!" He rolled onto his back.

I climbed onto his chest. Cody sat up which made me slide down and sit in his lap. "What do you mean?" "Your judgement is your judgement, not hers." "I know that." "So why let her tell you what to do? If Trey were to tell you to take it off, you'd super-glue the freaking thing on." "It's different, Cody. But everything will be okay." I smiled. He sighed and stared past me.

I reached up and kissed his lips softly. Cody's eyes met mine as I kissed him the second time. "I promise." I said and kissed him again. He didn't kiss back. He watched me kiss his lips over and over. When I stopped he gave me a questioning look. "Do it again." He told me. I smiled and kissed him again.

This time he kissed back passionatly. He supported my back as he laid me down. I pulled the covers over us without disconnecting our lips. Cody broke away from my lips, I tried to pull him back but he moved away. "I need to take a shower." He said. "But I don't want you to." "You want me to smell?" "I want you to stay here and make out with me." I smiled which made him laugh.

"Give me ten minutes and then I'm all yours." He said and got off the bed. I sighed and picked up my phone. I was about to unlock it when Cody's phone started ringing. I looked at the bathroom door to see if Cody had heard it but he hadn't so I answered.

"Jacob Thrupp." I spoke. "Lauren Miller." He replied. "Is Cody busy?" "He's in the shower, is it important? I could get him to call you back." "Uh- Yeah." He said. He sounded very uneasy. "Is there anything you would like my help with?" I asked.

"I think tonight is gonna be the night with Jasmin." "What night?" "The night." "Ooooh." I teased. "Shut up. I'm really nervous." "Why? Is Jacob in loooove?" "Lauren, seriously." Jake wasn't impressed which made me laugh harder. "Okay, what are you worrying about?" "Doing something wrong." "Didn't you listen in biology? You have to put your dinky into he-" "Lauren!" He raised his voice. I giggled at him.

"Okay, no, serious now. If you panic then you're gonna do something wrong. It's not big deal, well that's what you gotta believe." I said. "But you have to make sure she's okay." "How did Cody go about it?" "We spoke about it for a while. I was scared that it was gonna hurt and he assured me and yeah." "Was it awkward?" "Hella." I nodded.

"How do I stop that?" "You don't. And to be fair, you don't wanna stop that. Cody and I laugh at it now. It's a way to make memories. Memories that you're gonna keep forever, or at least, she's gonna keep forever. Just make it special." "How?" "Be a gentleman." I said as Cody came out of the bathroom.

"Cody's out now. You can speak to him." I said. "Who is it?" Cody asked as I passed him the phone. "It's your bestest buddy." I told him. "What's up, man?" He pressed the phone to his ear. "Oh, damn. Have you got any plans? Like any moves?" Cody's face got serious which made me laugh.

"Shut up. This is a serious guy thing." "No it's not!" I laughed again. "Yes it is, all you have to do is lie there and take it on your first time." "We have to deal with pain." "I'm on the phone." He pushed me over. I fell onto my back and giggled. Cody laughed at me while he spoke to Jake.

Cody hung up after a few minutes and got dressed before getting into bed. "Where were we?" He kissed my nose. "In bed." I said. "Okay, smart ass." He laughed. "I'm so tired." I rolled onto my side. "Hey, I wasn't done kissing." Cody rolled me back. "You got up." "I knew you were going to do this." He rolled his eyes.

"Why'd you get up then?" I challenged. Cody shook his head and laughed at me. "Okay, you better be good and make out with me for a long time." I kissed his cheek. "And why do you want that?" "Because we haven't kissed properly in ages." I let him kiss my nose. "I know." He did it again. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him up so he was in his usual position of being just above my body.

Cody wrapped my legs around his waist as he started to kiss my lips. "You taste good, baby." He mumbled against my lips. "Minty fresh." I said back. "Mhm." He agreed. I felt his hand slide from my knee up to the bottom of my shirt. His other hand met it there and then he pulled it over my head.

His warm, wet lips met my skin. I watched as he left kisses along my chest and then down my stomach. "It's like a snail trail." I giggled and wiped his slobber away. Cody laughed and met my lips with his again. "It shows where I've been." He whispered in my ear before kissing behind it. I felt him suck on the skin and then after around thirty seconds he kissed the now sensitive skin.

"What do you think you're doing?" "I'm marking you as mine." He smirked. "This mark shows that you're my baby." "So cute." I sarcastically cooed. I ran my nails down his chest until my fingertips met his sweats. Cody looked down at what I was doing.

"What are you thinking?" He looked back up at me. "I'm just not sure." I sighed. "That's okay." He shrugged. "No one asked for this. You don't need to do anything if you're not comfortable with it." He assured and kissed my nose. "But I did spend six-hundred dollars on you today, so either way." I smiled at him as I watched the smirk appear on his lips.

I tightened my grip of his waist with my legs which lifted my body off of the matress. Cody fell down and landed on top of me. I giggled before pressing my lips against his. "You think everyone's in bed?" I whispered. "I think so." "Asleep?" "I dunno. You want me to use my x-ray vision to look?" He teased. "Cody, don't be mean." I pouted.

"Poor baby." He kissed my lips. "Jake seemed pretty nervous about tonight." I said. Cody nodded and relaxed on my body. "Were you nervous?" "On our first time?" "Well obviously." "A little. I just wanted you to be okay." "So did you plan it?" "I thought about it but didn't plan it. I didn't think you'd go for it to be honest." He shrugged.

"It was your birthday." I smiled. "I know. It was a very good birthday present." "But it hurt." "Did it hurt real bad?" "A bit." "For how long?" "The first few times." "But now it's all good, hmm?" He raised an eyebrow. I nodded. "Is this Jake's first time or just with Jasmin?" "I'm not allowed to share that information."

"Cody..?" I whined. "You wouldn't tell me if Alli ha-" "Alli is your little sister and you would hunt down and murder any guy who even touched her." I said which made Cody laugh. "Madison, you wouldn't tell me about her." "You already know." I smirked. Cody rolled his eyes and tried to get up but I held him in place with my legs.

"So were you nervous on our first time?" He asked. "Cody, I was shaking." I giggled a little. "You just held onto me really tight and didn't let go." He remembered. "Mhm." I nodded. Cody moved his body up and rested his forehead on mine.

I watched his hand as he reached over and turned out the night light. "We're gonna do it just like the first time." He whispered and pressed his lips against mine. "Mhm." I hummed. "But I don't want you to go quiet like you did." "Mhm." "You're doing it now." He laughed, I laughed too. I ran my fingers through his hair as we kissed.

The following morning I woke up in Cody's arms. I smiled to myself and let out a happy sigh. I checked the time and then tried to get up but Cody's grip tightened. "Where are you going?" "I need to put some clothes on." I fought with his strength. "No you don't. Lie with me." He pulled me down. I looked up at him. His eyes were still closed.

The sunlight from the gaps in the blind shone on his face in a way that only half was lit up and the other still in darkness. He looked so peaceful and so beautiful. "Stop watching me." "Well then let me get up." I giggled. His eye peeped open and then a smile followed.

"Good morning, special." Cody rolled onto his side and pulled me close so our skin was touching each other's. His hands moved down to the small of my back and held me against him. "Good morning." I smiled. "You look so beautiful in the morning." "Thank you." I accepted the compliment. "Gimme kiss." He closed his eyes. I giggled and pecked his lips.

"Gimme another kiss." So I did. "And now make out with me." He pulled me on top of him as he rolled onto his back. I laid down on his body as I started to kiss him. Cody hands slid from my waist, along my back and then held my butt for a few seconds before wrapping around me to secure me in place.

"Cody!" I heard Tom's voice. I quickly got off him and held the sheets to cover myself. "Dad and Steve want to see you downstairs." He said. Cody sat up and looked at our clothes which were spread across the floor. "Leave them, Tom. I'm sure Cody needs to get dressed." Alli's voice spoke with annoyance. Cody rolled his eyes at her voice.

"Stop it." I scolded him. "She started it." He defended. "Tom, give me a second." Cody turned his attention to Tommy. He nodded and left the room. Cody got up and put on his sweats. "I'll be back in a bit." "I'm getting up now anyway." "No. You can't get out of bed." He pinned me to the mattress. "Cody!" I screamed and kicked my legs.

"You better be here when I get back. There will be trouble if not." He kissed my lips and left the room. I waited a few seconds and then went to get into the shower. At first I let the hot water run down my body but then I started to wash myself.

"Miss Miller?" I heard Cody's voice. "No." I answered. The bathroom door opened and then closed again. "What did I tell you?" He spoke. "I don't remember." I giggled. "I think you do." "I don't." I looked at him through the slightly open curtain. "Are you done?" He asked. "Yes." I nodded. He jumped off the counter and came over to me.

I pushed myself against the back wall of the shower. "No! Go away!" I pushed him. Cody picked me up and carried me into the bedroom. "Your bed's gonna get wet." I pointed out. He ignored me and threw me on the bed. I screamed and tried to escape him but he caught my legs and pulled me back.

"Lemme get a towel, pleeeeease." I begged. Cody threw a towel at me and then began tickling me. I struggled and laughed as he did it. "Stop! Pease stop!" I pleaded. "I can't hear you." Cody teased. I rolled around and tried to find the strength to speak again. Before I could the bedroom door opened and my dad was stood in the doorway. Cody stood up while I made sure I was covered. The awkward tension was a little too intense.
