TW: Mentions of Blood

Sophie

Ever since Chris has gone to Australia... actually no, ever since I found 'the video', I have been a full blown porn addict. Everytime I feel lonely, or stressed, or sad, or horny... I just watch 'the video', over and over again like one of those crazy twitter stans, or like a literal STALKER. I'm actually in my pedo era... like what the actual fuck is going on with myself

I thought if I could be around him more, I would be able to stop thinking that way, stop watching 'the video' at any minor inconvenience, he's a human after all... but no, he decided to leave for Australia right then and there. We've kept talking while he was away, but that honestly has just made everything so much worse.

"Sophieeee," Hyunjin whines, spinning around on his chair.

"Whatttt," I respond in the same tone and Hyunjin flashes me an annoyed look.

"You gonna focus... or just keep waiting for Lin to show up?" He brushes his hand over his temple, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Why do I even have to write a method for uni? How does someone have a method for writing a song, you just... think?" I whine, thrashing my head onto my keyboard. "Can't you just write the methodology?"

"No, c'mon start typing," he moves the mouse towards me, urging me to stop complaining and complete my coursework. I adjust my seat, taking a deep breath in before continuing to type again, only tapping on one letter before I hear a knock on the door.

"YES," I exclaim, taking my laptop off the desk and I begin walking towards the door of Hyunjin's room. "Thanks Hyunjin."

"No problem," he puts his face in the palm of his hands, watching me rush down the hallway of their dorm.

Hyunjin and I have become such good friends in the span of four days. At first it was kind of... awkward? I mean, he was so handsome and so talented, it was hard to not fangirl over him, or feel intimidated, but he's actually super chill and nice. Also, since he's doing uni too, he's actually really helpful to me.

"Hey Lin," I smile, stepping out of the doorway, my eyes widening as I see her. "O-oh."

"Hi," she responds, twirling her blond hair around her pointer finger.

"Your hair?" I stutter, putting my hand out to feel if she's wearing a wig or not.

"Yeah... the company made me do it," she nods. "Honestly, I might like it better than the green."

"Same," I snort and she flashes me an annoyed look as we walk down the apartment block hall and onto the road where I see the company car parked. As I get into the passenger seat of the car, I take my phone out, reading a message Chris had sent a few seconds ago.

Chris: I've landed

You: I know, we're driving over for you now

Chris: oh wait

Chris: you've never done an airport pick up before have you?

You: I haven't

You: y?

Chris: has Lin?

You: no

Chris: shit

I read over the messages in confusion as we pull into the airport, walking across the road into International Arrivals. Lin and I look around the room, eyes wide open as we witness what looks like 18000 people crowded around the exits.

"Where do we have to be?" I shout, hoping Lin hears my voice over all the people.

"Over there," she points at the exit gate, behind the massive crowd. She takes my hand, dragging me through the stampede of fans who desperately want to talk to Chris. We push through countless complaining stans, finally making it to the barrier and I throw myself up against it before pulling out my phone.

You: we're here

Chris: all right, I'll tell security that

A moment later I see Chris walk out of the exit, looking down at his phone, a team of security in black surrounding him. Chris is wearing the classic beanie, a black shirt and the memorable grey sweatpants but before my mind gets dragged away, my phone buzzes in my pocket and I read the message.

Chris: where are you?

You: left of the barrier.

I watch him look around in my direction for a while before noticing me, barely reacting to my presence. I flash him a light smile as I try to walk closer to him, fighting my way through dozens of pushing kpop stans.

We finally made it to one of the security guys, Lin showing our JYP staff ID to him. He gives us a light nod, positioning us on either side of Chris before continuing to walk through the airport. This feeling is so weird, so claustrophobic, so many people wanting to be near you... well, Chris. For some reason, I don't know why, but having so many people obsessing over Chris just makes me want to scream out that I'm friends with him or that I work with him everyday and, as much as I hate to admit, Chris looks so damn good. Now that I'm closer I can properly see how form-fitting his shirt is and how his sweatpants sit so nicely on his waist. He's got a necklace on, a small tag at the end and a beaded bracelet around his wrist.

As we continue walking, I feel someone grab my arm. At first it's light, just slightly pulling on it, but soon I feel myself getting yanked away, the random man then pushing me into the ground. I fall onto the floor, my hands unable to catch me in time, sending my jaw straight into the ground. Everything around me seems to go quiet, completely silent, but I can see an eruption of chaos around me. I gasp for air, wiping blood off of my nose as I watch the people around me, my head still on the ground. Everybody seems to be moving in slow-motion, time just feels so elongated, the pain becoming more unbearable each second. I feel hands wrapping under my arms and I yelp as they yank me up, using all the strength I could muster to fight against them.

"Soph, soph, soph," I hear Chris' voice repeat as he holds me up. I try to reply but instead the only thing that comes out of my mouth is a light grunt and a puddle of blood. Tears finally seep out of my eyes, mixing with the blood covering my face as I remain hanging off of Chris' hands. He pulls me up, helping me stand straight.

"Can you stand," he asks, taking his arms away a little, letting me support myself. My legs shake as I try to keep standing, keeping myself balanced in my wonky boots whilst feeling delirious is no easy task. Chris quickly picks up on that, placing his hands on me again without a second thought. At this point the security guards are standing around us, Chris pushing them away as they try to help him carry me.

"Give her space," he grunts as one of the security guys tries to support my back and I notice Lin watching from afar, the crowd now much further away from us. "I'm going to pick you up ok? I'll take you to the hospital."

Chris stands in front of me, his body pushed up against mine as he positions his hands on my thighs, grasping onto them to pull me up. My head flops onto his shoulder as he continues to hold me up, his hands on my ass as he rushes me out of the airport. I open my eyes, seeing Lin and the security guards watching me for the last time. If I wasn't experiencing the worst pain I've ever felt in my life, I would probably be dying of embarrassment right now.ย
