THIRD PERSON:Will was eating at the dinner table with Jonathan and his mom. Jonathan and Joyce were just talking until the wheeler family came into the conversation. Will jumps out of his head and listens into the conversation.

"Hey, so I was thinking maybe I can go to the wheelers? I mean, I can take Nancy some where and Will can stay at the house with mike. I heard that the rest of Will's friends will be there."

Joyce sighs and looks at Jonathan with a little smile, "I don't know Jonathan, I think Karen doesn't want anyone over-"

Will interrupts his mom, "NO! it's okay, I want to go...really badly"

Will smiles and looks at Jonathan and than his mom, "yeah, mom. Come on. Both me and Will are old enough and mike will have all his other friends over too. It'll be fine"

Will nods and looks at his mom. She scrapes the bottom of her plate with her silver fork.

"Mhm, okay." Will and Jonathan stand up from their chairs at high five.

"BUT! if anything happens to anyone of you CALL ME. Especially you Will if you ever feel sad or unhappy or disrespected,call me I will pick you up and talk to Karen."

Will sits down in unison with Jonathan, still smiling. "Mom, that won't happen anymore, he has to change."

Will's mom sighs again, "baby, people don't change that fast-"

"MOM! trust me!!" Will smiles, he's mom looks at him and gives him a smile as well

"Okay. Whatever you say"

WILL'S POV:I grab my plate and rush toward the sink. I can feel my heart race, we haven't all been together in SO long!

My mom grabs the plate from my hands, "I'll wash it for you, just go get dressed."

I spring up and run to my room, I was so excited it was unbelievable.

I open my bedroom door and pick out a random out fit.

I was shocked on how i randomly chose a good outfit. However, that didn't matter Jonathan was done getting ready. That meant it was time to go, I really hope Mike would drop his old acts. "WILL! COME ON!" jonathan yells from the living room"PUTTING ON MY SHOES" I cry back and slip on my white shoes.I swing my bedroom door open and run to front of the house. Jonathan was outside already, standing next to his car. Before I can get out the door my mom stops me, "Will, remember. Call-" I finish her sentence, "call you, I will"She smiles and hugs me, "bye, I love you!" I wave bye and close the door behind me"You're ready will?" I smile at Jonathan and nod, "yeah! Come on"

MIKE'S POV:"Mike?" I look next to me, it was lucas calling me. "Yeah, what's up?" Lucas shushes Dustin and the girls "Did you call will? He's taking for ever." My eyes slightly widen, I forgot. It wasn't my fault though he lives far from me."Um, I thought you would." I wanted to slap myself, I needed to stop acting like this.This is why Will started to not hang out with us, it's my fault we're not best friends anymore."Obviously not! You said you would!" Dustin looks at max, "yeah, mike you did." Max was starting to get upset because Will is my girlfriend's brother and she said, 'you shouldn't treat your partners family like that, If I were dating el I would treat her family with kindness.'"Well, I didn't." I'm so stupid...I keep on doing it. It's like I can't stop being rude. It's like i can't be...my old self. My mom knocks on the basement door, "MIKE! WILL'S HERE!" I look at Lucas, "thank the stars, mike. Thank. The. Stars." El gets closer to me and hugs my arm, she leans her cheek on my shoulder."It's okay, mike. We make mistakes." She smiles at me, I give her a fake smile back.I don't know how she can deal with me, I kinda feel bad. I can hear my mom scream to Nancy that Jonathan is here, I also hear Lucas, Dustin, and max jump, excited to see Will. I was excited to but el was on me and I felt bad rushing toward Will and push el out the way. However, el did that to me. She quickly lets go of me and runs toward her brother.I just stood there, I felt my eyes tearing up. I wanted to hug Will but I feel like he hasn't forgiven me yet.Will hugs everyone with a huge smile, rosy chubby cheeks, and eyes sparkling in the light.He looked like an Angel.I snap out my staring because I see Will come towards me with wide arms.I can't help smiling a little, he warps his arms around me. I try to do the same, it was kinda hard because he was shorter than me but I managed. He looks at me with that smile than looks away from me and turns to the door. "Bye, Will! Have a great time!" Jonathan smiles and waves.Will grins back and waves, "you too!" The door closes and we all watch Jonathan leave with nance. Will faces us again, "so what did I miss out on?"Dustin chuckles and grabs will's arm, he drags Will into our hide out.Will looks at all our sleeping bags and looks embarrassed."Um, I wasn't aware that it was a sleepover. I didn't bring anything."Lucas looks at me, "it's all MIKE'S FAULT" Will looks at me with a little smile. My stomach starts to turn,my face goes red, I get sweaty. Since, when did Will get so...cute? It feels unholy to say but it's true. It's how...I feel."It's not his fault-" Lucas covers his mouth, "hey-" Lucas stops me too, "you just want Will to defend you. Will stop, I know you're being nice but it's his fault." I grab Lucas's hand and pulls it away from will's mouth, "I wasn't going to talk about him defending me, you're acting childish""CHILDISH? I THINK YOU BEING MAD AND NOT INVITING WILL TO THE SLEEPOVER IS CHILDISH. NOT ME TRYING TO STOP WILL FROM FEELING GUILTY AND TO CONTINUE HANGING OUT WITH US BECAUSE YOU SURELY RUINED IT." I felt my blood boil and steam up, I wanted to punch him in the face so hardDustin whispers to el and max, "this is going to turn into a huge fight." "We have to stop them, it's going to completely ruined the mood." I ignore them and look at will. His smile faded and his eyes were still sparkling but not in the light but with tears. I had to stop before it got worse, I had to be the bigger person. I had to be bigger than Lucas.
