[Chapter #3: A New Feeling Of Emptiness]

[TW - Sh - Blood mentioned]JASON'S P.O.V:

"Oh, Piper," Jason said, calmly sliding Leo off his lap."Did I interrupt something?""No, it's fine, What's up?" Jason said."I was wondering where Leo is because I accidentally broke a chair in the Aphrodite Cabin. But it's fine if you two are busy.." Piper said."Oh.." Leo said, he stood up and stared at the ground for a moment,"Um..Jason I'll be right back." He said looking back at Jason and smiling softly."Ok." Jason said, kind of disappointed.Leo and Piper walked off and Jason was left alone sitting in his cabin.He wondered what he should do next.*Hm..I have a puzzle in my dresser if I remember properly.*He got up and went over to his dresser, pulling open a draw he pulled out a small box that said,"Relaxing Fall Puzzle to calm the mind[100 pieces]"*Seems easy enough.*Jason took the puzzle back to a table set in the middle of the cabin, he opened the puzzle and got started.

It took him only forty minutes to finish the puzzle, it was pretty easy.He got up and admired the puzzle, it was nice. Once again, he was bored and had no more puzzles to do.*Maybe a walk?*Jason started out of his cabin and started walking through the trees.

LEO'S P.O.V:

As he fixed the chair, he wondered what Jason was up to. He wondered if he was sleeping, that's usually what he did when bored. At least, Leo thought so.When he was finished with the chair, he said bye to Piper and rushed back over to the Zeus Cabin.When he got there, he knocked.No answer.He opened the door and peeked inside.He wasn't there.*Where is he?* Leo thought.He closed the door and looked around a bit.*If I were Jason..where would I go if I were bored? What would I do?*

JASON'S P.O.V:

As he was walking, he stumbled upon a nice looking tree. He decided it was a good time to train, he fixed his sleeves and got in the proper position.He started punching the tree, it wasn't as soft as a punching bag, and it didn't swing, but it was pretty similar.He continued to punch the tree. Eventually, he got tired, he sat down under the tree, panting.He looked down at his knuckles, and saw they were bleeding.*I wasn't..hitting that hard was I?*He didn't know. But he decided it would be a better option to go clean his fist up. He started heading back to his cabin, on his way back, he ran into a familiar looking brunette."Jason!" Leo exclaimed."Hey," Jason said, he wrapped his arms around Leo and gently kissed him."Were you looking for me?" Jason questioned, he couldn't help but let a small smile spread across his face."Yea..I checked you're cabin and you weren't there. I figured you went on a walk." Leo said."Yeah I did," Jason gently put his hands on Leo's cheeks and gently rubbed them.Leo grabbed his hands, his eyes suddenly went wide.He pulled Jason's hands off and looked at his knuckles, blood streaming from them."What happened?!" Leo questioned, looking up at Jason and giving him a soft look of worry."Oh, I was training. Punching a tree." Jason explained."Jeez, how hard did you punch?!" Leo said still concerned."I don't know, I guess hard if I'm bleeding.""Does it hurt?" Leo asked, he pulled out a clothe from his pocket and started cleaning them."No, not really, not with you here. Nothing hurts with you here." Jason said.Leo chuckled a bit."Wow, never knew you could flirt a bit. You're to focused on me if you don't feel you're knuckles aching.""No, I just love you." Jason replied."You sure?" Leo said, looking for reassurance from earlier still."Yes, I'm very sure." Jason said. He wrapped him close to him again, taking in his cinnamon scent, his touch, his soft breathes, everything."We should probably go to the infirmary and get you some bandages." Leo says."Yeah..."

After a few moments, they started they're way to the infirmary.When they got there, Will wrapped Jason's hands in some bandages and told him not to punch anymore trees.Jason wasn't so sure he would stop. It was kind of stress relieving to punch the tree. More relieving than a puzzle that's for sure.But Jason nodded anyway.

Leo and him started walking back to his cabin, when they got they're they cuddled up again. Jason slipped his hands up Leo's shirt a bit, but Leo didn't seem to mind, so he gently started to kiss his neck. Leo snuggled deeper into his chest. After a couple moments, he heard soft snoring coming from Leo. He must've fell asleep. Jason snuggled closer, eventually, his eyes started to close.

Later, he woke up in the middle of the night. He got up and away from Leo, and walked to his bathroom, stumbling. It felt like his mind was blank. Like how he felt waking up on the bus the first day he met Leo and Piper, except of course he remembered everything, but he still felt like he was drifting. Like he was just floating there. He didn't know what he was doing. He washed his face, and then sat down on the bathroom floor. His mind felt so blank, he felt so empty. He hated it. He didn't like the feeling one bit, but he didn't know how to get rid of it. He grabbed something, but it's like his mind was purposely blurring it out. Suddenly, he brought the object to his wrist and felt a rush of pain and a headache surge through him. He saw red rushing from his arm, he dropped the object, which now, his mind didn't blur it and he saw it was a dagger. He looked back at his arm, there was a long, deep gash in his arm. His whole body was trembling. But he didn't feel blinded anymore. He didn't feel empty. He could think again, and his first thought, was to wash the cut and hide it before Leo woke up.
