𝕎𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣 ℙ.𝕆.𝕍:

Today, I was just in my room hanging out with Layla and Musa, when the girls and I all were suddenly called into Miss Faragonda's office where we got the most shocking news yet.

"What?!" The girls and I all said at the same time shocked "We're to study at Cloud Tower?!" I asked Miss Faragonda. "You can't be serious!" Layla said, "No way am I wearing those tacky witch outfits!" Stella said as I could tell she imagined herself as a witch.

"Calm down, girls. You know, we have to protect the codex at Cloud Tower." Miss Faragonda told us. "There are absolutely no records of witches ever asking fairies for help." Tecna said, "And that's where Mirta's advice has been most helpful." Miss Faragonda said as Mirta was standing next to her "Umm, the witches think that Alfea fairies have it easy. And all the teachers say that fairies wouldn't last two days if they were to take their classes." Mirta said.

"So, we've gotta swallow up pride, is that it?" Musa asked, "Fairies aren't slaves to pride like the witches are, correct?" Miss Faragonda asked us "Mm-hm." The girls and I all said nodding our heads. "Then it's settled, if you're willing to take classes at Cloud Tower, Lady Griffin is willing to ask for your help against the Trix." Miss Faragonda said "And she won't regret it! The Trix will never be able to get anywhere near the codex." Bloom said.

~𝕋𝕚𝕞𝕖 𝕊𝕜𝕚𝕡~

After talking to Miss Faragonda, the girls and I were making our way to Cloud Tower. "I wish Piff could come along." Layla said as Zing turned into a witch "I'll get you my pretty and your little Piff too!" Zing said "She wouldn't be happy. Cloud Tower's energy is too negative." Tecna told Layla.

"Yeah, it would probably give our pixies massive headaches." I told Layla agreeing with Tecna. "Hey, Zing seems fine." Layla said, "Don't worry Layla, I'll save you from the dark magic." Zing said "Yeah, but she's kinda..." Musa started saying as Zing was displaying some fighting moves "Crazy?" Stella asked "Come on, guys. We need to think about working together with the witches." I told the girls. "Yeah right, and I don't even like being in a crowd where there's a single witch!" Stella said, "But they did help us fight the Trix last year." Bloom said, "You seem to forget that they helped the Trix fight us a bunch of times!" Musa said, "Musa, did the witches do something to you?" Layla asked Musa as she started reminiscing about last year.

"Most witches want nothing more than to prove themselves better than a fairy." Mirta said. "I hope they realize that stopping Darkar is more important." I said as the girls and I made it to the entrance "Don't you worry yourselves about that little fairies." One of the teachers told us "We're just as capable as you of understanding the situation." The other teacher said. "Even more I say. I am Professor Ediltrude and this is Professor Zarathustra. We're here to escort you." Professor Ediltrude said introducing themselves to us "We've been told that you'll be staying with us until the danger is past." Professor Zarathustra said "Or until our classes become too much for you, whichever comes first." Professor Ediltrude said as they smirked at each other.

"So, will you be showing around the building?" Bloom asked them. "Actually, Cloud Tower is not your typical building..." Professor Ediltrude said, "It's a living creature with roots and branches." Professor Zarathustra said "Roots and branches?" Flora said confused "It's a magical entity created by ancient witches." Professor Ediltrude said making Stella gag as we all walked in for our class.

"Welcome to Basic Witchcraft 101. The objective of this class is to teach beginners and honored guests the rudiments of dark magic." Miss Griffin said as the girls and I were in the auditorium with the other witches. "This is so embarrassing." Musa said, "Ever since we got here, the witches have done nothing but stare at us." Layla said, "They're jealous of our sense of style, that's why." Stella said.

"We'll begin with a simple exercise, producing energy by conjuring up dark images. Flora, will you start us off?" Miss Griffin asked Flora. "Aren't we gonna divide up in groups to practice first?" Flora asked "In groups?! Witches working in groups?!" Miss Griffin asked making all the witches laugh "Listen up fairies. Team members can betray one another, that's why a witch depends on no one but herself." Miss Griffin told us. "Yes, but I mean yes, ma'am. If that's how witchcraft works, then..." Flora said, "I don't want to learn any of this stuff." Tecna whispered over to me.

"Now everyone take out your textbooks and open them to page 3,026." Miss Griffin said as she opened her textbook and class continued.

"Very good. No, not dark enough. It's a little dusty." Miss Griffin said as she walked around the class inspecting the dark energy spheres we all created. "Hmm, better than I'd expect from a fairy." Miss Griffin told Musa "Great." Musa said smiling "Many of our spells require darkness as a primary source of energy, and so it's important to learn to subdue light." Miss Griffin told us "Sorry, but I don't do darkness." Stella said as her dark sphere turned golden. "You realize that your grades here will end up on your permanent record?" Miss Griffin asked Stella "Have you seen my permanent record? These marks will fit right in." Stella said not caring 𝑈𝑟𝑔ℎ... 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑒𝑥𝑒𝑟𝑐𝑖𝑠𝑒 𝑖𝑠𝑛'𝑡 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑... I thought "Professor, if I complete the spell, can I leave class early?" I asked, "Can I go as well?" Bloom asked "Are you feeling alright Winter and Bloom? Fairies don't normally summon up negative feelings so easily." Miss Griffin told us as my dark sphere turned a dark almost black purple, while Bloom's sphere was a red color.

"I've had a bad week." Bloom said, while I stayed quiet 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑎 𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝑑𝑎𝑦... I thought as I sighed.

As we were in the Potion Lab in Cloud Tower, Stormy was angrily blasting vials. "Will you stop it? Someone's gonna hear us." Icy told Stormy "No one's down here this time of day and I'm sick of trying to find a needle in a haystack." Stormy said, "We don't have much of a choice." Darcy said.

"We have control over the tower, let's just tell it to bring us the codex!" Stormy said. "Griffin still has most of the tower under her power." Darcy told her "Well there's nothing around here, so let's split up and look for likely hiding places." I said smirking "Fine." Darcy said.

Then, Icy, Darcy, Stormy and I used our Gloomix to make holes in the wall and we flew into them and split up.

𝕎𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣 ℙ.𝕆.𝕍:

After classes, the girls and I were in the Cloud Tower library with a group of witches. "Lady Griffin said I could count on all of you. We need to stop the Trix from getting into Cloud Tower." I said, "Based on previous patterns, they'll make their move any day now." Tecna said as she took out her handheld.

"We can stop them on our own. We don't need you!" One of the witches said. "Winter, why bother? Let's just do this ourselves." Stella told me "Stella, you're as bad as the witches!" Musa said, "Hey, take that back!" Stella and one of the witches said at the same time "Everybody, just calm down!" Layla said.

"Let's just keep our eyes open for now. And if you know any secret entrances..." I started saying, but I was cut off by Lucy. "We wouldn't tell you about them." Lucy said "Fine. Then just make sure the Trix don't use them. You okay with that?" I asked already tired of their attitude "Don't worry, we'll stop them!" "Not that you know how to do that!" The witches all said.

"That's right. You've lost twice now." Lucy said, "At least we stood up to them." Layla said. "Which is more than you'll ever do." Musa said agreeing with Layla "Rumor has it that Winter actually gave them what they wanted." Lucy said, "How dare you say that about Winter!" Stella said, "Technically, it's true." Tecna said, "Who's side are you on?" Stella yelled at Tecna.

"See that? Fairies can't agree with one another." Lucy said as Mirta walked into the library. "What are you guys doing?" Mirta asked us "Collaborating. Isn't that obvious?" Stella told Mirta "You're arguing, so who's watching the Trix?" Mirta asked us "Mirta's right. We must get together." Flora said, "Yeah, well I'll listen to Winter before I'll listen to that traitor." One of the witches said. "And if the Trix win 'cause you didn't cooperate, what do you think Griffin will do to you?" Mirta asked the witches, making them all gasp "Okay, everyone. This is our chance to stop the Trix before they get enough power to threaten all the Magic Dimensions. Let's make Griffin and Faragonda proud!" I told everyone as we all cheered.

~𝕋𝕚𝕞𝕖 𝕊𝕜𝕚𝕡~

After searching for any signs of the Trix and not finding any, it was time for our next class with Professor Zarathustra. "Now, the next exercise is absolutely vital for honing your magic skills. The brighter the glow, the more dark energy you can sell." Professor Zarathustra said, "Professor Zarathustra, we don't understand what to do." Bloom said standing up.

"Then let me help you. Everyone, close your eyes. Now think of all the times someone kept you from doing what you wanted. Think of the last time you felt helpless or angry. Think of stress, loneliness, heartache. Fill your heart with thoughts of sadness and gloom." Professor Zarathustra said as we all closed our eyes. "Professor, that's enough!" Mirta yelled at her "Mirta, you're interrupting the lesson." Professor Zarathustra told her "I took this class with Professor Ediltrude last year and this exercise isn't part of it." Mirta told us "Mirta? What's going on?" I asked her "She set all this up for you guys." Mirta told the girls and I "What?" Stella cried out "That's not fair!" Musa said.

"Well... The lesson was almost over anyway. Everyone gets an 'A', except Mirta." Professor Zarathustra said as she pointed at Mirta.

~𝔸𝕗𝕥𝕖𝕣 ℂ𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕤~

After class, we all split up and were searching for the Trix again and Bloom, Flora, Mirta and I were together in the hallways. As we were searching, we suddenly ran into Lucy "No!" Lucy cried out "Lucy, what's wrong?" Mirta asked, but Lucy fainted for a bit, before she woke up again with Mirta next to her "The Trix, they're already here." Lucy said "What?" Mirta said "No!" Flora said. "They're after me." Lucy said as Musa, Stella, and Tecna arrived "Hey, what's going on?" Musa asked, "The Trix are already in the tower." I told them "Let's get em!" Layla said "Mirta, I really think you should stay with Lucy. Everyone else, let's go and find those Trix." I said as the girls and I ran down the hallway in search of the Trix.

"Good idea Winter, 𝒍𝒆𝒕'𝒔 𝒈𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒙! How are we supposed to do that?" Stella asked. "I'm open to suggestion." I said "I know. Based on the past evidence, we can't beat the Trix at their own game." Tecna said "Nice way of saying we already lost." Bloom said, "If we wait for them at their destination, we'll get the jump on them." Tecna said, "But they're after the codex!" Flora said "And we don't know where it is!" Layla said. "I'll calculate it's most probable location and we'll wait there." Tecna said, "I'm not relying on your dorky computer." Stella said, "That's too dangerous, we could lead them straight to the codex." I told Tecna "We're not getting anywhere. I bet you the witches are hiding the Trix. We can't trust 'em!" Musa said.

"Way to go, tough girl. Go beat up some witches 'til they tell you where the Trix are." Stella said mocking Musa. "Lay off, Stella! It's not as if you've got any better ideas!" Layla said scolding her "Fine. Think you can find them without my help, go right ahead!" Stella said as she ran off in a different direction "Stella!" Bloom yelled out as we all stopped running "Well, I'm gonna look where Lucy last saw them. Come if you want." 𝔹𝕝𝕒𝕫𝕖 ℙ.𝕆.𝕍:

"I was right, magic power flows through the entire structure of Cloud Tower. Like blood through the veins of a living being. And it originates here: the heart of Cloud Tower." Tecna said as she was all alone in an empty classroom.

"So you've found the Codex." Darcy said as we flew through the hole in the wall and smirked at Tecna. "Now tell us where it is." Stormy said with a smirk "Not in a million years! Techno—" Tecna started yelling, but Icy was quicker "𝑮𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒑!" Icy yelled out as she froze her in seconds.

"Too slow." Icy said with a smirk "Well, what have we here?" Darcy asked "I'd say we found the spot. The codex is ours!" I said smirking.

After finding out where the Codex is hidden, we made our way to the area where it was and Darcy tried using her Gloomix to break the wall but it didn't work. "What's wrong? Can't you reach that central room?" I asked her "No. Griffin has total control of that area of the tower." Darcy said, "What a pain." Stormy said, "Of course, she'll have set up her strongest shields around the codex." Icy said. "If we get near it, we'll lose control of the tower." Darcy said, "Then we'll steal it the old-fashioned way." I said smirking "With brute force." Stormy said.

After hearing some noises, Bloom, Flora, and I ran into one of the classrooms and found Tecna frozen. "Oh no!" Flora cried out "Tecna!" Bloom and I cried out "Icy was here, who else could've done that?" Flora asked as we walked over to a frozen Tecna "Zing, what happened?" I asked her "The Trix, they know where the codex is." Zing said.

"Tecna figured it out." Flora said "And then the Trix found out from her." Bloom said. "We've gotta help her and warn the others." Flora said "No time. The Trix will reach the codex any minute now." I told Flora "But Winter—" Flora tried to say, but I interrupted her "You help Tecna. I'm going after them." I told her "I'm coming too." Bloom said, "I'll go with you." As Bloom and I made it to the Heart of Cloud Tower, I saw that we were the first ones there. "We're the first ones here. They must've been sidetracked." Bloom said, "They're coming." I said as I heard something coming "We can do this. 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒙!" I yelled out as Bloom and I transformed.

After Bloom and I transformed, we saw that the Trix had arrived. "𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑩𝒊𝒕𝒆!" "𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒍!" Bloom and I yelled out as we attacked the Trix, but it didn't work as they shielded themselves "Hey, there's only two of them." Stormy said, "What's wrong, your friend couldn't come out to play?" Darcy said as Bloom attacked the Trix again, only for them to dodge her attack.

"They're all yours." Blaze told Darcy and Stormy as she and Icy flew away. Then, Darcy and Stormy attacked Bloom and I, but we blocked their attacks with our shields, but we were attacked from behind by Blaze and Icy "Ahhh!" Bloom and I yelled out as we landed on the ground "𝑶𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔!" Darcy yelled out as she blinded Bloom and I.

"My eyes!" I hear Bloom cried out "Poor darlings can't see a thing." Darcy said. "Ready, girls?" Blaze asked as I felt that the Trix had surrounded Bloom and I 𝑊𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑢𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙𝑠 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒... I thought "No, I've got to keep fighting somehow." Bloom said "Now!" Blaze yelled out as I felt the Trix had thrown Bloom and I to the wall "Let's pick up our prize." Blaze said as I heard them walk away from Bloom and I.

"It's right there, come on!" Tecna yelled out as the Winx and the Cloud Tower witches made their way to the Heart of Cloud Tower. "Winter! Bloom!" Flora cried out as they all saw Winter and Bloom in the ground blind, while the Heart was opening "It's up to us to stop them." Layla said.

"It's too late, fairies. The heart of Cloud Tower is opening." Icy said. "No." Musa cried out "The codex is ours." Blaze said smirking "Huh?" The Trix said as they turned around to see the silhouette of Miss Griffin inside the Heart.
