Mission: Pen Drive

Apparently Viktor was also shocked about his true identity, because he too dropped the pen drive he had been holding, where it landed with a clatter on the hard floor.

"You're...the IRIS agent?" he asked, dumbstruck beyond his ability.

"Ali, quickly change while I take care of these two," Alicia ordered, not taking her blastique away from Viktor and Dos. Ali nodded and quickly went away.

Dos had picked up the pen drive on the floor, and was smirking most wickedly. Alicia strengthened her grip on her blastique.

"Drop that," Alicia said in a forbidding tone.

"Or what?" Dos sneered. 

Alicia released a blue magnetic bomb at their feet, and the both of them were forced to be stuck on the floor. This grabbed the attention of the people around them as they whispered and pointed at Alicia.

"What are you looking at?" she snapped. "Get away unless if you want to get involved in this mess."

The people around them hurriedly scrambled out of sight, and trooped back, constantly glancing back, to the entrance. The staffs were looking nonplussed of everyone suddenly leaving. Alicia grabbed the pen drive before either Dos or Viktor had any chance to take it.

Dos was evidently struggling with all her might against the invisible force, but Viktor still looked too shock to even move, let alone talk.

Just when the bomb deactivated, Ali came back in his red Tekno suit. Before Alicia noticed it, Dos had took a black pointed needle from her hair and thrown it at her. 

"Alicia, look out!" Ali yelled.

He wanted to save her, but he was still a distance away, and even his aeroboots wouldn't carry him there fast enough. Alicia spun on the spot to realise that it was a foot from her.

But then a larger black dart streaked through the air and knocked the needle off course.

Dos looked angrily to her left to see that Viktor had his arm stuck out, as though he was throwing something.

"Why did you intercept it?" she started furiously at him.

"I-" Viktor hesitated.

"We have to get the pen drive back," she snarled, activating a laser blade each on both her hands.

She shot straight for Alicia, but Alicia this time managed to jump aside as she came. Ali threw his yoyo at Dos and it blasted her into a table, overturning it. She fell out of sight with a crash.

Alicia noticed that the staffs were looking interestingly at them now, all gaping with their mouths hanging open. 

"If you want to get killed, stay her for all I care." Alicia shot in their direction, and at once they shuffled away. "Stubborn people," Alicia mumbled.

Viktor was standing at the corner of the scene, unsure whether to attack or not. True, he had been tasked to get the pen drive from that Japanese restaurant, and he is Quarto, but it was his friends here. 

When Dos didn't come up seconds later, Ali and Alicia turned to Viktor, who found himself rooted to the spot and unable to move a muscle. Ali was hesitating, perhaps he was like how he was now, unsure or not whether to attack, but Alicia had pointed her blastique at him.

"You're coming with us," she said severely.

He could fight, but now things were different. It was also a fight of two against one, what was he to fight? The last time he had fought with both of them he had ended up fainting.

Viktor pulled his feet up from what felt like quicksand and went towards them, but only after a few steps, Alicia faltered. Ali seemed to notice this too.

"Alicia, what's up?" he questioned, shaking Alicia's shoulder gently. 

"W-w-where am I?" she said, looking around as if she had never seen a place like this before.

"What? We're at Sunway, remember?" Ali said, bewildered.

Alicia stared back at Ali, her brown eyes misty and confused. "Who...are you?" 

Ali was just trying to process what she had said when she was suddenly electrocuted.

"Alicia!" he shouted, quickly catching her in his arms.

Dos stood behind her, her black needle held out in front of her. Viktor was torn between worry and shock.

"Quarto, get the boy," Dos ordered.

At that moment, something white and furry had launched itself on Dos' face, making her stumble backwards.

Viktor might not have been listening at all, because was rapidly mumbling to himself, "It's all my fault, it's all my fault, it's all my fault..."

"Quarto, get him!" Dos screamed, randomly lunging at Ali with her pink laser blade, which he barely managed to dodge as he tossed Alicia's limp body aside. 

Comot got down from Dos' face to land in front of Alicia, spitting threateningly at her.

Taking a deep breath, Viktor cornered Ali. He stepped between where Dos, Comot and the unconscious Alicia were, activating his metal claws at the same time.

"Viktor, please don't do this!" Ali cried, going backwards, but feeling so that his feet had touched a wall.

"I have no choice, Ali," Viktor muttered. And grudgingly, he took a slash at Ali, but purposely made it higher, so that Ali easily ducked under his arm.

"Are you seriously just doing this for the pen drive?" Ali yelled at him, holding out his yoyo and spinning it.

"Of course no! The matter is not in your hands, but my dad's!" he yelled, as if those words were rather wrenched from him out of his will. He threw a red dart in Ali's direction, and it landed on the ground below him. A moment later it had clicked and an explosion nearly blew Ali off his feet, but his yoyo shield helped deflect most of the force. 

"Be reasonable! I can help you," Ali said, shooting his yoyo towards Viktor. Viktor slashed at it and it went downwards, and sprung back into his hand.

"There's nothing you can do for me." Viktor said darkly. He sounded almost like the Quarto Ali knew.

There was a high pitched meow and next moment, Dos was running towards the exit, beckoning Viktor to follow. Viktor bit his lip and glanced back at his friend, Ali...

But was it Ali? His pupils had shrunken twice the size and his breathing was coming in fast, as though he was having a seizure. He knew what was going to happen next before he knew it.

"Dos, run!" Viktor yelled, changing into his tight black suit with a press of a button on his wrist.

"But we have to leave together!" Dos protested, waiting for him at the doorway to the entrance.

"Just go! Take the pen drive back to dad, I'll deal with Ali."

Dos just stood stubbornly there, but a glance behind him, she tapped her right foot and zoomed off in the speed of light. 

The lights flickered, and everything went dark. Three seconds passed before they came back on. Nothing changed, nothing whatsoever to suggest the reason for the sudden electricity trip. But maybe there was. Ali was standing unusually still, and his glasses were glowing white.
