Chapter 56

Niall's P.O.V.

"Kaylee let's go!" I shouted as she checked under her seat one last time making sure she didn't leave anything behind.

"Calm down." She grunted pushing past me and out into the airport. It was about 3 in the morning an everyone was on their last string, especially Kaylee. We had just landed in New York and we were going to be doing a few shows their and then traveling the rest of the east coast before our much needed break. 

"Uh hello Niall, let's go!" Louis shouted as they all sat in the van ready to go to the hotel. I rolled my eyes hopping into the seat beside Harry as I slammed the car door and we were off. The car ride was quiet everyone mostly asleep besides me, of course. 

I haven't been sleeping right lately and I'm not sure what it is. I'm thinking it's worry, it has to be. I'm constantly worrying about Kaylee making sure she's happy from sun up to sun down.

The doctors office called the other day and Kaylee was off with Zayn so I answered it and they were asking if she was showing any side effects from the news and I told them no. They kept telling me to watch cause they were coming and hell was I worried. 

I love Kaylee and the last thing I want is for her to be upset or sad. I'm trying everything in my power to prevent her from slipping into the inevitable depression that comes along with never being able to have kids.

"Niall pull your head out of your ass and pay attention." Liam groaned shaking my shoulder as he climbed over me. We all walked into the hotel getting our hotel keys and making our way upstairs. As usual, Kaylee and I, Harry and Louis, Liam and Zayn share a bed but unfortunately since we're only in this hotel for two nights we're all sharing a suite.

I was the last one in the room and a upon my entrance I looked around the room to see everyone already passed out on their beds shoes and evrything. I sighed walking over to Kaylee and I's bed pulling her shoes off and placin them on the floor. 

I pulled the duvet back as she sleepily crawled under it turning on her side and snuggling into the blanket. I walked into the bathroom to see a really nice bathtub, must use that before we leave I laughed to myself before washing my face with some cold water. 

It was nearly 4am and I wasn't tired but I didn't want to risk doing something to wake the others up so I slipped into bed next to Kaylee. She turned over, her lips slightly parted as little breaths left her mouth puffing onto my face. Her eye lashes rested against her cheeks fluttering slightly.

I made it a habiit of mine to watch her sleep as creepy as that sounds. I loved seeing her so peaceful andat ease, she looked beautiful. She always mumbled words, inaudible to me no matter how close I got. The only thing I ever made out was the scattered I'm sorrys she whispered to whoever was running through her mind as she rested.

Sometime after that I drifted off into a much needed sleep.

"Niall mate wake up." Someone shook me rapidly as I groaned rolling over an pulling a pillow over my head to block them out. "Niall! Kaylee's gone."

I sat up looking at the spot next to me noticing it was vacant. I panicked immediatly as I searched the room hoping for my eyes to find her messy bun she wore every morning. "Where is she?"

"We don't know. Liam woke up about 2 and saw she was gone and she was never one to be up before everyone else." Harry sputtered out.

"Fuck." I whispered standing up and searching for a pair of clean shorts and a shirt. "I'll be back." I walked out of the hotel room slamming the door shut before running down the stair shaft and into the lobby. I pulled my phone out and it rang and rang and someone picked up.

"Ya hey?" 

"Fucking hell Zayn." I spat hanging up, she left her phone in the room. I walked through the hotel and past the area where there was a buffet area. I was a bit hungry... I'll just grab something quick. I walked down the buffet table 

I grabbed a banana and peeled it looking around and that's when a slow smile creeped on my face. There was my girlfriend sitting at a table with about 4 plates of food. I sauntered over sitting in the chair in front of her.

"Hello my love." I smirked at her.

"Hey Ni." She piped up before biting into a chicken finger. 

"How is your day so far?" I questioned clamly leaning back. She shrugged smiling her mouth to full to say anything. "Lovely well next time you decide to venture off before anyone else is awake make sure to leave a damn note." My tone changed at the end showing my disappoinment.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't want to wake you up and I guess I just wasn't thinking." She pouted making me roll my eyes.

"Well try to think a little harder next time, we were worried." I sat up ready to stand up and go back upstairs.

"Why are you all so worried about me all of a sudden? I'm fine, stop it. I hate it, I can take care of my fucking self I don't need baby sitters." Her voice raised as she stood up clearly not liking the way I worded my sentence.

"Kaylee I-"

"No Niall shut up, You know exactly what you meant and I noticed the way you all look at me sometimes. It's like a minute I'm not smiling or laughing you all get weird. I'm fine okay? Just stop that." She shouted her frustration showing.

"Kaylee I'm sorry we're just a little worried about you." I sighed standing up and walking over to her grabbing her into a hug.

"No, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to blow up on you like that." She whispered hugging me tighter. "I love you Ni." I froze thinking back to the phone call, mood swings.

"Shit." I whispered squeezing my eyes shut.

"What was that babe?" She questioned looking up at me. I just shook my head and grabbed her hand as we made our way up to the hotel room.

"Kayls there you are!" Louis chuckled as we walked in.

"Here I am!" She laughed walking over and plopping down onto the couch next to Zayn. She leaned back kicking her legs up across his lap as her eyes became fixated on the tv.

"Haz mate." I whisper yelled as he perked up cocking his eyebrow. I beckoned him over as we walked into one of the rooms. "She showed one of the side effects, major mood swing."

"Really?" He huffed leaning back on the wall. I nodded biting at my nails, a habit of mine. "Well uh, don't worry mate. Just keep doing what we're doing." He smiled slightly as he patted my back leaving the room. 

And so we did. All day we spent it with her, we even brought her to the signing and she was currently sitting backstage as we did the twitter questions halfway done with the show. I kept stealing glances over at her and pulling a silly face to make her giggle.

"Alright so here are some twitter questions you guys sent in!" Liam smiled as they popped up on the screen. 

I mostly just chuckled at the lads witty responses just wanting the concert to be over so I can go talk to Kaylee and make sure she was smiling. 

"Alright guys this has been so great but it's time for a last song of the night!" Zayn shouted as she crowd boo'd and screamed their pleas to make us stay.

"Yep, sadly. We're all knackered from our flight." Louis sighed as the band played the last song. 

As soon as it ended and we said our goodbyes we ran off stage being handed rags and water bottles. "You all smell." Kaylee held her nose as we walked down the hallway to where the car was waiting to bring us back to the hotel.

"So do you." Louis retorted throwing in an eye roll before hopping into the front seat. We all shuffled into our seats not speaking a word the entire ride until we got to the hotel where shower arguing took place. 

"Wait it out." I whispered to Kaylee as we laid down on our bed waiting for all the lads to be finished. 

"Alright one rule I ask of you two, no sex, we are right here." Louis smiled jumping onto his and Harry's bed.

"No promises." I winked at Louis jumping off the bed and rushing into the bathroom shooting Kaylee a wait there hand before I shut the door. I ran the tub making sure it wasn't too hot or too cold before walking back to her.

"Great they're going to do it in the tub." Louis groaned rolling over and stuffing his head under a pillow making Kaylee giggle. 

I shook my head as I pulled her in closing the door. "Join me for a nice bath?" I questioned pointing to the stilled water. 

"Bubbles or no deal." She crossed her arms sucking her teeth. I rollled my eyes and poured all the bubbles in stirring them around. I turned around to see her down to her panties and bra ready for this bath.

"Let's go bub." She giggled as I slowly peeled my own sweaty closes off. I slipped into the tub the bubbles a clear coat on top of the bath water. "Hm, relaxing." She smiled as she sat across from  me. She scooped up the bubbles placing them on her face making a beard. 

"You're dumb." I chuckled shaking my head. She stuck her tongue out at me as she pretended to shave her bubble beard. After a while she got bored of the bubbles and sighed looking sleepy which was purely adorable.

"C'mere." I mumbled holding out my arms. She scooted over to me as I opened my legs her back against my chest, her head rested in the crook of my neck. It was so relaxing, only the sounds of her hands lazily scooping the water up filling the bathroom.

She sighed resting her head back kissing right under my ear before whispering something I thought would be all lovey and meaningful in this relaxing time but instead I got, "I can feel your penis." followed by a small giggle.
