Chapter 49

Niall's P.O.V.

Everyone was up a little later and we were all just lounging around to tired to do anything, well except Ryan.

"Guys play with me!" He whined stomping his feet.

"Ryan we're tired." Kaylee groaned burying her face in my side.

"Meanie." He mumbled crossing his arms, his lips forming a pout. I heard her let out a deep breath but she didn't say anything. "I'm hungwy."

"Let's go make some lunch." Louis smiled rolling himself off the couch. He threw Ryan over his shoulder as the two made their way into the kitchen.

"I'm so tired." Kaylee sighed looking up at me. 

"I know, don't worry." I kissed the top of her head wrapping my arms around her. "But rest up, you and me have a date tonight." 

"What?" She looked up at me smirking.

"Mhm, me and you. Date night, we haven't spent any time together really since Ryan and you need a night  off. I already asked the lads to watch him, you just have to say yes." I grinned. She nodded her head smiling at me.

"Good, I miss my little Niall." She giggled.

"Oh little Niall's doing just fine, I was thinking of dinner and movie but we can do that too." I winked at her.

"I didn't mean it like that!" She squealed blushing like crazy.

"I find it funny how you blush at the stupidest things, it's cute." I leaned down and gave her a peck on the lips before standing up. "Be ready by 8."

"You got it." She gave me a thumbs up as I walked into the kitchen to see what the troublesome two were doing. 

"Hey Niall!" Ryan waved at me from his seat on the counter.

"Hey little guy, whatcha doin?" I walked over to see what Louis was making and saw a whole bunch of bread laid out on the counter. 

"We're making sandwiches for everyone." Louis told me as he placed different things on different sandwiches. 

"Ahh, I see. Well Ryan, you're spending the night with Louis and the other boys!" I smiled at him as his face contorted with confusion.

"Why? Where are you going?" He questioned.

"I'm taking Kaylee on a date tonight." I told him and he nodded.

"I want to come."

"Aw, no sorry bud. Just me and Kaylee." I chuckled ruffling up his hair.

"But... I want to come." He looked up at me, his eyebrows knitted together. 

"Ryan, no, just me and kaylee." I explained again a little slower.

"Kaylee!" He screeched making Louis and I cover our ears. We heard her scattered foot steps before she appeared in the kitchen.

"What's wrong?" She asked worriedly. She looked over at Louis and Ryan looked at me giving me a little smile.

"Niall said that I can't come with you tonight." He pouted when she looked back over at him.

"Well yeah.. it's just me and Niall." Kaylee told him walking towards Ryan.

"B-but I want to come with you." His lip quivered as he looked up at her. 

"Ryan it's only going to be for a little while and you're going to stay here with the boys and Riley and have fun!" She smiled at him placing her hands on his shoulders. He looked up at her with glossy eyes and began to cry.

Ugh, no. Kaylee had such a soft spot when he cried.... don't give in, please.

"I want to come!" He balled slamming his fists on the counter.

"Well you're not so there's no use crying about it." She stated plainly and he stopped crying to look at her.

"You're so mean! And you too!" He shouted pointing at me. He stood up on the counter and walked over to where Louis was. "Louis." Louis picked him up as Ryan glared at us.

Kaylee just shrugged leaving the room.

"Kaylee babe! Are you ready?" I groaned from the living room.

"Almost!" She called from our room. She opened the door and she looked gorgeous. She was in a black top with a long blue skirt and her hair was all natural and curly how I liked it.

"You look beautiful." I smiled kissing her. "Alright guys we're going!"

"Have fun you two! Don't do anything crazy!" Liam scolded from his spot on the couch.

"No promises." I winked looking over at Kaylee.

"Wait!" We heard a little voice shout. We turned around to see Ryan tottling toward us. Like most kids he forgot about everything after an hour. "Bye guys! Come back!" He smiled looking up from us.

"Of course!" Kaylee laughed crouching down and giving him a little hug. "Have fun with the boys and don't get into trouble." She pointed her finger at him as he nodded. She giggled standing up and grabbing my hand as we walked out of the room.

"So where are we going?" She asked once we were down on the main streets.

"Hm, it's a surprise." I grinned looking over at her. She rolled her eyes as I tugged her a long trying to be late to these reservations.

Once we were there we got our seats with no problems. "This place is so nice." Kaylee smiled looking around at all the decorations.

"Yeah, Lou suggested it to me and we haven't had any time to ourselves so why not." I looked up from my menu at her to see her smiling at me.

"Yeah, I know." Her smile turned into more of a sad guilty one.

"It's not your fault, I mean, you fiund him and that's fine. Who knows where he would be if you didnt." I placed my menu down leaning across the table and grabbing her hands. "Don't worry we'll get everything sorted out."

"I hope so." She laughed shaking her head.

"Oh by the way... my brother is getting married next weekend and I need a date...." I looked at her cocking my eyebrow. "So will you be my date Ms.McKinley?"

"Yes Mr.Horan." She replied back in a posh tone making us both laugh.

Dinner went smoothly. It was nice to just get to talk to her without Ryan coming along and taking her away from me. But, everytime I looked at her I just fell more in love with her. I never really noticed all her little habits. Like when she blushes her eyelashes flutter and when she smiles the right side goes up a little bit more than the left. 

"Niall what are you staring at?" She laughed snapping me out of my gaze.

"Uh nothing." I smiled answering quietly. "Ready to go?" She nodded and stood up pushing her chair in as I copied her actions.

I left the tip on the table and grabbed her hand as she looked over at me smiling. She yawned as I pulled her into my side making our way to the movie theatre. "Uh two tickets for the purge?" I asked the guy behind the counter and he nodded handing me the tickets.

"Wait... isn't the purge that scary movie?" Kaylee looked up at me worried. 

"Yeah but don't worry." I kissed the top of her head as she sighed clearly worried. When we walked into the theatre it was nearly full it being the premiere night of the movie. Thankfully the lights were down as we made our way into the last two seats available which happened to be in the back.

"I hope stuff doesn't pop out in this movie." Kaylee mumbled as I put the arm rest up letting her rest her head on my shoulder.

"Don't be such a baby." I teased. The movie started and about a half an hour into Kaylee had her head buried into my side completely scared. It wasn't even that scary... okay a little bit.

"Is it over?" She mumbled into my shirt as the ending scredits rolled.

"Yes." I chuckled as she sat up fixing her hair. "C'mon let's get home it's almost 11 o'clock."

"Yeah, I'm so tired." She yawned as we made our way out of the theatre. "I'm sleeping forever when I get home."

"I'm sure you are babe." I laughed as we made our way out onto the street. "It's just you, Riley and Ryan tomorrow because the boys and I have a signing pretty much all day."

"Alright that's fine. I'll ask Riley to watch Ryan for me." She smiled lazily at me. 

"You look like you could fall asleep right now." I laughed kissing her nose. She nodded lazily leaning against me as we walked. "Well we're basically here." 

By the time we got up to the hotel room Kaylee was sleep walking. "Kaylee!" Ryan screamed as we walked in the door.

"Hey babe." She smiled waving at him.

"How was your and Niall's date? Did you kiss?" Ryan grinned up at us. "They told me everything you do on dates!"

"Uh, really?" I looked up at everyone on the couch.

"Mhm, they say you eat and go the movies and give lots of kisses and hugs." Ryan smiled excitedly. "I want to go on a date!"

"Ryan you're five." I chuckled ruffling up his hair.

"I don't care." He pouted crossing his arms.

"I'll set you and Lux up on a play date how does that sound?" Harry asked coming over and picking him up.

"Yay!" He cheered pinching Harry's cheeks.

"C'mon you're spending the night with me and Riley." 'You're Welcome' Harry mouthed to us as he threw Ryan over his shoulder. 

"Night Niall and Kaylee!" Ryan screeched as Harry tickled him. 

"Night Ryan!" We both smiled making our way to our bedroom. When we got inside Kaylee walked over to the bed falling back on it. 

 "I'm not even changing." She mumbled crawling up the beds and slipping under the covers. I chuckled walking over to the bed and stripping my pants and shirt off getting into the bed beside her. "Night Ni." She smiled turning over and wrapping her arms around my waist.

"Night Kayls." I whispered giving her a light kiss as she rested her head on my chest.

"Niall let's go!" Harry shouted shaking me awake. I groaned rolling over opening my eyes. "We have to be at the signing in an hour."

"Okay." I muttered rubbing my eyes. I stretched and stood up from the bed making my way to the bathroom.

Kaylee's P.O.V.

"Kaylee." I heard a little voice whisper in my ear. I hummed turning over. "Kaylee." The voice said again. I sighed opening my eyes to see Ryan sitting criss-cross apple sauce in front of me.

"Morning Ry." I smiled proping myself up on my elbows.

"Hi, Riley told me to wake your sleepy butt up." He giggled falling over on the bed and laying next to me.

"Oh really?" I smirked my fingers crawling over to him. I attacked his stomach making him go into a huge laughing fit. "Alright let's get ready." I sighed smiling as I stood up.

I got Ryan ready as well as myself before we walked out into the living room where Riley was sitting watching television. 

"I thought we could surprise the boys at the signing today." She looked over at me grinning.

"I like the sound of that." I nodded grabbing a muffin from the counter. "When did it start?"

"About an hour ago so we can go whenever you're ready." She hoisted herself up from off the couch and walked into hers and Harry's bedroom to get changed I guess.

"Where we going Kaylee?" Ryan asked me as I picked up his sneakers.

"We're going to see the boys." I told him and his face lit up as he sat down on the couch so I could put on his shoes. "Riley!" He cheered as she came back out fully ready.

"Ryan!" She said in the same peppy tone. We got all our stuff and made our way out of the hotel, the fans, yet a few of them, were still there and excited to see even us.

When we got to the signing we got at the end of the line, not many people left considering it was almost finished.

The security recognized us and let us in with no problems. We tried our best to stay hidden as we got closer to the table.

"Oh my gosh! You're Riley and Kaylee!" The girl in front of us shrilled.

"Yep." Riley laughed.

"Ah, you guys are so lucky to know the boys!" She squealed. "Can I get a picture?"

"Yeah sure." I smiled. I picked up Ryan as she stood in between us her mom holding the camera. 

"Who is this?" She questioned gesturing to Ryan.

"Uh that's a long story." I laughed and she nodded as we smiled taking the picture.

"Thank you so much!" She shrieked clapping her hands. She turned back around as we got closer and closer to the front.

"Kaylee, this is boring." Ryan whined resting his head on my shoulder. We've been in line for about an hour and half now, I don't blame him. 

"We're almost there, look you can see Niall." I pointed through the crowd of girls to the head table. 

"Niall!" He squeaked but there was no way Niall could hear him over the screams of the fans. We passed the time with Riley and I teaching Ryan how to play paddycake and miss, mary mack.

We were almost there and I picked Ryan up as we waited in the next and last group to go down the table. I giggled as Riley handed us sunglasses and we put our hoods up. "Ryan, we're going to pretend not to be us, so we confuse the boys, okay?"

"Got it." He nodded. We walked toward the table as I looked back at Riley smiling. We got to the table and the first person was Liam.

"Oh my gosh can you sign this!" I squealed putting the CD on the table.

"Sure thing babe." He smiled at me as he signed the CD, first one down.

"Louis I love you!" I giggled in a weird voice as he chuckled siging the CD and winking at me. 

"Hey love." Niall smiled lookin up at me as he took my CD.

"Niall it's me Ryan." Ryan whispered leaning forward and sliding his sunglasses down a little bit. Niall let out a boom of laughter as Ryan did this. 

"Ryan!" I laughed shaking my head. I took my hood down and placed my sunglasses in my pocket. "Surprise!"
