Chapter 43

Niall and I had gotten over being sick a few days ago, thank goodness. I don't think I could take another day of being locked in a room with Niall.

"Alrigth girls, have a nice day!" The boys waved to us as Riley and I locked arms walking out of the hotel. We waved back to them before hopping into the elevator.

"Finally! We haven't hung out alone in forever!" Riley squealed excitedly.

"I know, I miss girl time!" I smiled back hugging her quickly. Riley and I decided to go off on a day of our own while the boys prepared for their first concert in America tonight.

"Alright, where to first?" She asked once we hit the lobby.

"Hm, how about down to Sunset Boulevard for some shopping?" I questioned as the front doors of the hotel were opened, a fresh summer breeze sweeping our hair back. She nodded linking her arm with mine and dragging me along.

We walked and walked along the endless streets looking at all the different stores. Now even with our protests Harry and Niall insisted on giving us some money to buy stuff. I mean we each had a decent amount but they just wouldn't give up!

Plus, a girl isn't going to say no to a few extra shopping bucks. "There, topshop now." Riley dragged me behind her, apologizing to people as she pushed her way into the front doors.

"Ugh, I need new shorts. I have like none!" I laughed looking at a pair of camo shorts. Riley looked over giving me a nod of approval.

"I love this!" She gasped holding up a black dress with a denim top to it. "Must get." She draped it over her arm filing through the racks of clothing.

2 hours and a million visits to the changing room we were all shopped out and on our way off to the next store. 

I looked around the stores seeing a Delias. I remembered back at home they always had tons of one direction merchandise. "Riles, c'mere." I beckoned her over and she followed me into the store. I giggled as I walked over to the table with t-shirts on it.

"I have a great idea." Riley smirked at me sifting through the shirts.

Niall's P.O.V.

"Where are they?" I asked nervously peeking out of the curtains, my eyes trailing over the sea of screaming fans.

"I don't know. I haven't heard from them." Harry replied nervously biting at his finger nails.

"On in 5 boys!" The stage director shouted. I groaned sticking my phone in my pocket. I hope they were okay...

"They're fine, I promise." Liam smiled at Harry and I. I sighed hoping he was right. They were supposed to be back hours ago but never showed up. 

Lou walked over to each of us doing one last check on our make up and everything. 

"Alright boys, go on!" The curtain was pulled back as we ran on stage, the screams increasing.

I smiled at the audience waving, my eyes looking over the crowd. I was breathless, this was unreal.

We started the concert, everyone gettign into it. As we sang Kiss you, one of our last songs Liam came over to me laughing and pointing at the front row.

I looked at him confused and looked back, squinting my eyes to try and see what was so funny. As soon as I saw it I let out a bark of laughter.

Kaylee and Riley were in the front row holding up a sign that said 'LOVE ME ONE DIRECTION' and they had one direction t-shirts on. I pointed it out to Harry and both of us were in hysterics barely able to sing.

"THANK YOU L.A.!" Louis shouted as we ran off stage. 

"I can't believe them!" Harry laughed leaning into me. 

We all made our way into the back, gathering in one dressing room to cool down. That was the hottest concert we had done so far.

"Boys, there are some fans here to see you." Paul peeked his head in the door, a smile on his lips.

We all sat up straightening ourselves up as we waited for the fans to come in.

"OH MY GOSH!" We hear a high pitched squeal before the door flew open. "YOU'RE LIKE ONE DIRECTION!"

The room erupted into laughter as Riley and Kaylee walked in jumping around with their posters. 

"I like totally love you, like so much!" Kaylee grinned. "Niall is my absolute favorite!" 

"You two are something." Liam chuckled sitting back down.

"Ugh Harry, you're so perfect." Riley sighed. "Please sign my boobs." That's when Kaylee lost it, she fell to the floor laughing.

"You're crazy." Harry chuckled walking up to Riley and giving her a nice sweaty hug.

"Ew, gross." Kaylee whined covering her eyes. I walked up to her grabbing her hands and pulling her up right into a sweaty hug. I looked over at the boys and we all nodded squishing Riley and Kaylee together, putting the in the middle of a huge group hug.

"This is disgusing!" They screeched in unison.

We all pulled apart, trying to subdue our laughs. "You guys did great tonight." Kaylee smiled as we all sat down.

"Yeah, it was fun to watch from the audience." Riley spoke up. 

"Well we're glad you enjoyed it. But we've got to head back to the hotel now." Liam said as we wall stood up. We exited through the back getting into the bus so we could get back to the hotel. I sat down next to Kaylee, she leaned her head on my shoulder sighing.

"Are you tired?" She asked looking up at me.

"Yeah, the heat drained me." I chuckled running my fingers through her hair. She nodded looking across at everyone else as we fell into a conversation.

"Our next concerts on friday and it's supposed to be even hotter." Zayn told everyone as he looked up from his phone.

"Great." Louis laughed sarcastically. "But hey 3 days off."

"Yeah, but then we're going to be having concerts every night." Harry groaned. I sighed knowing that my sleeping schedule was going to be shot.

"Alright boys, let's go." Paul ushered us out of the bus and into the hotel with no problems.

There was a 15 minute fight on who gets to shower first and all that good stuff. 

By the time we were all showered it was nearly midnight and everyone was completely wiped out. 

I slipped into bed next to Kaylee pulling her into my chest.

"Hey, guess what?"

"What?" She asked turning to face me.

"I have a surprise for you tomorrow." I smiled at her and she furrowed her eyebrows together.

"Hint?"

"Nope." I winked kissing her nose.

"Please." She pouted looking up for me. Ugh, the puppy face, damn her.

"Okay, it's person. That's all. Night beautiful." I said quickly kissing her and turning over.

I heard her giggle to herself. "Night babe." She turned around draping her arms over me and I let out a laugh, 

"You're not a big spoon my love." 

"Hush up." She retorted squeezing my torso in her arms. "I can be anything."

"Oh really?" I asked turning over cocking my eyebrow. She nodded smirking at me. "Can you be... non-ticklish?"

"Niall don't." She told me in a warning tone.

"That's what I thought." I pulled her into a hug, her back pressed to my stomach. "This is how it's supposed to be." I whispered in her ear.

I woke up early making my way into the kitchen to see that everyone else... was already awake. Alright so maybe I didn't wake up that early.

"Morning Niall." Kaylee smiled from her seat at the table. I grabbed a plate and put some pancakes and bacon on it. I sat across from her as Louis handed me a cup of tea.

"So what's everyone up to today?" Liam questioned hopping up on the counter.

"Well Riley and I are going to go walk around a bit see what's going on." Harry spoke up smiling over at Riley. 

"I'm taking Kaylee to meet someone." I told them and all the boys nodded knowing what I meant. 

"I'm sleeping." Zayn chuckled running a hand through his hair.

"We're going surfing!" Louis cheered getting up and high-fiving Liam.

"Looks like everyone's got their day planned! See ya tonight." Zayn stood up walking off into his bedroom.

"Bum!" Liam called after him chuckling.

"Kayls, go get ready." I winked at her and she nodded scurryng off too the bedroom.

"So she has no idea?" Harry whispered. I shook my head grinning, I can't wait to see her reaction.

"Niall we've been in this car forever." Kaylee whined leaning into my side.

"We're almost there, no more whining." I flicked her nose and she sat up sticking her tongue out.

I looked out the window noticing the area and getting all giddy, I couldn't wait. This would make her so happy. 

"Here sir." The driver told me and I nodded hopping out. I grabbed Kaylee's hand helping her down also.

"Where the hell are we?" She mumbled grabbing my hand as we walked up to the building.

"I told you, we're visiting someone." She held her other hand up to grip my forearm as we walked into the apartment complex. It wasn't the nicest but it was still nice. 

I led her up multiple sets of stairs before stopping in front of the door. I knocked twice waiting for it to answer. I heard the knob jiggle and turned to Kaylee.

"Dont' scream."

"Wh- OH MY GOSH!" She gasped looking from me to the person in the door way.

"Hello." Ed chuckled stepping aside so we could walk in.

"That's Ed Sheeran." She whispered to me.

"Yeah, I told you I would get you to meet him." I chuckled walking over to the couch.

"You must be Kaylee?" Ed smiled taking a seat on the chair across from us. She nodded just staring at him.

"Well don't just stare at him!" I laughed.

"Uh yeah uhm I'm Kaylee." She smiled nervously her hand practically suffocating mine.

"I've heard a lot about you from the lads." He laughed his eyes flickering down from her to our hands and to my face. "I think you're hurtin' him a bit babe." He chuckled and her cheeks heated up as she loosened her grip.

"Sorry, I just, I can't I dont even know." She laughed nervously her face bright pink. "I just really love you." She blurted out.

Ed and I both fell into a fit of laughter over her nervousness. "I'll get you two a drink, excuse me." He laughed walking into the kitchen.

"Niall!" She hissed slapping my arm.

"What?!"

"You didn't even give me a warning! I look awful!" She laughed looking down at her shorts and t-shirt.

"You look fine! And don't be nervous just be you okay." I gave her a quick kiss as Ed walked back in handing us our drinks. 

"So Kaylee tell me about you."

Riley's P.O.V.

Harry wrapped his arm around me as he led me through the mass crowed of fanfgirls. We got about 6 blocks from the hotel and then out of nowhere we got completely swarmed.

"Riley, you okay?" Harry asked lookign down at me. I nodded looking up at him as he sighed. "Sorry." 

"It's fine can we just try and get inside somewhere?" I asked him and he looked around both our eyes finding a coffee shop.

I grabbed his hand as we tried to part through the people but there was so many. I looked back for a moment to see even more people. And to think, all for one person. 

"Hey!" Harry shouted turning around quickly. I looked to see what he was on about and saw a girl standing there with his silver cross necklace in her hand. "Please give that back?"

"No." She replied.

"He said give it back." I spat at her. "It isn't yours, this could be considered stealing." I hissed at her.

"What are you going to do about it?" She smirked.

I felt my blood boil and my temper rise. I'll show her what I'm going to do about it. 

WOO! I KNOW IT'S BEEN A WHILE AND SORRY IF THERE IS A LOT OF MISTAKES, MY LAPTOP IS STILL BROKEN :( I TRIED TO MAKE THIS AS LONG AS POSSIBLE THOUGH!SO WHAT DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN BETWEEN RILEY AND THE GIRL? WHAT ABOUT KAYLEE MEETING ED?
