27 ~ For Me Please

18:54, 27 September 2021

A week passed since they consummated themselves. Mallika's face glowed day by day, as he made love to her every night and sometimes at day time too when he gets back from office soon before Madhi comes back from the school, worshipping her with his love.

Sumedh felt happy that she was trusting him more than herself. They both felt a happy fulfilled family with their little angel, Madhi, doing various atrocities around them.

"Jaan! Where are you?" Sumedh shouted as he entered the mansion after a tiring weekend.

Mallika descended steps in a while and witnessed, Sumedh's usually tired face after office brimming in joy. She smiled, looking at him but was soon engulfed in a tight hug.

She hugged him back and asked, "What had happened like that, which made you this happy?"

Sumedh pulled back and kissed her lips shortly and exclaimed, "We both had got another baby!!"

Mallika widened her eyes and looked at him in confusion, "S...Sumedh, what... I am not pregnant."

He chuckled at her bewildered face and cupped her cheeks, "I didn't mean you, my innocent cutie. Shakshi had given birth to a baby girl."

"Oh..." Mallika's lips widened with a smile, as she couldn't find any words to express her excitement at that moment.

Sumedh understood her state and caressed her cheeks, "This much excitement just by hearing another one's newborn baby. Then how will you be when we hold our little one in our hands?"

"I... I don't know. I couldn't express it in words." Tears of joy escaped her eyes, as she remembered the day when she held Madhi as a small baby in her palms.

Meanwhile, her happy tears converted into cries, as she remembered being alone when Madhi was born. Sumedh's smile faded, seeing her crying vigorously.

"Mallika, please. I know what happened to you was worst. And so for me too. I also worry deeply for couldn't able to hold my baby as a little newborn in my hands when she was born. But it happened, Jaan. At least I wish to feel this happiness through our second baby and wish to give you the happiness. Don't cry, baby, please." He wiped her tears and kissed her eyes.

She leaned against his chest and closed her eyes, slowly stopping her cry.

"Mumma, whether papa had come?" Madhi rubbed her eyes and yawned while coming out of her room.

She was feeling sleepy yet, though she had slept throughout the afternoon in the weekend holiday. But she was caught off-guard when a pair of hands held her small waist strongly and lifted her in the air.

She opened her eyes widely and her sleep had gone totally. She smiled widely, as her father twirled her in the air.

"DADDY!!" She giggled, making Sumedh smile widely at her.

"Papa had come home early today, but Princess was only sleeping till now." Sumedh stopped twirling and hugged her close to his chest.

She flung her arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder, panting heavily.

"Now read me the next chapter, Quidditch!" She exclaimed but received a pout from his lips.

"Nowadays, you aren't playing with me, Baby. You want me to read your Harry Potter books always." She giggled cutely at his overacting and pulled his lips, making him whine.

"So, today we will play. But you should read a chapter before I sleep." She showed her fist to him. He smiled and dodged her fist with his fist, "Promise!"

"Now let's go, let's play chess until your Mumma prepares dinner." He carried her to the dining table and made her sit on the table.

He took a chessboard from the play game set and placed it on the table in front of her.

"Daddy, you always beat me in this game!" She pouted moving away from the game set, indicating that she wasn't ready to play chess with him.

"And I love to see you defeat me someday in this game." He moved it back to her with a wink.

She pouted more but finally agreed, as she understood that her father wouldn't wish anything bad for her. Though she was failing to win over her father, she was learning some new things daily, which enhanced her young brain.

Sumedh made this her habit to play chess at least half an hour a day to enhance her thinking ability.

They continued their game with their usual silly fights and teasing, while Mallika made a mushroom Manchurian and fried noodles.

"Daddy, please, not anymore, I am dam hungry, I couldn't think." Madhi sighed, as the aroma of her Mumma's handmade hit her nostrils, making it difficult to concentrate on the game.

Sumedh chuckled and nodded his head, understanding that she couldn't play anymore. He kept the game set in its place, taking Madhi in his lap.

Mallika served the food on the plate and fed them both, as the father and daughter duo enjoyed talking about the events that happened on that day.

"So, Miku, ready for tomorrow?" Mallika became statue at his sudden question. She wasn't ready for it.

She wasn't ready to reveal to the world that she was Penguin, who was hidden behind the pen name and had stolen millions of young hearts.

"Jaan, for me please!" He pleaded with her, which she didn't wish him to.

So, without any other option, she agreed to him though she was hell nervous.

"Okay, but Madhi can't come with us. There is a rehearsal practise for her tomorrow, as her talent hunt competition is the day after tomorrow." Mallika kissed Madhi's forehead, who was not interested in going to school the next day, as she wanted to enjoy the function with her parents.

"Princess, I promise for your Mumma's next novel launch, we will take you with us no matter what. But tomorrow you have to go to school, as this is your first ever competition in your new school. I want you to give your 100% without concern about victory or failure." He kissed her hair, making her snuggle into him more.

She nodded her head, "I will, Dad."

Hello all!

I want a suggestion from you all. I am thinking of shifting the mature contents, which seems like extremely mature content to another specific book, where the mature contents of all my books will be added.

This book will be mature content free except for little romance.

Should I or shouldn't?
