The Tooth Race

We started the teeth-collecting in Russia. Tooth had told us where the teeth were in the general area and we had all gone to get them.
"Hahahaha, Quickly, quickly!" North yelled, his voice echoing through the neighbourhood. I was flying close to Jack and Bunny.
"Hop to it, Rabbit! I'm five teeth ahead!" Jack taunted. "Yeah right! Look, I'd tell ya to stay out of my way, but really what's the point? Cuz you ain't able to keep up anyway!" Bunny retorted."Is that a challenge, Cottontail?" Jack asked, jokingly. Bunny then looked at him,"Ooh, you don't wanna race a rabbit, mate," Bunny threatened.
I had had enough of their little rivalry, so I changed my wings from a Robin to a Peregrine Falcon, and sped past the both of them. I heard Bunny call out to me and Jack laughing.
I slowed down outside a window which had a tooth in there. I slipped into the window, crept over to the sleeping child and slipped my hand under the pillow. My fingers soon brushed the tooth, so I pulled it out from the pillow, and put it in the sack that North had given all of us. I turned around and flew out. When I climbed out of the window, I saw Jack out of the corner of my eye flying to where I just was.
Once he saw me, he stopped in his tracks."Oh, come on!" He said, slightly irritated. I just laughed at him, and flew away towards where another house was.

After we had finished in Russia, we moved on to France. I was heading towards a house. Where a child had supposedly lost two teeth. When I reached the window, before I could climb inside, I saw Jack putting the two teeth in his bag. He caught sight of me, walked towards me and said: "Ha," then climbed out the window.
I turned around and punched him in the arm, hard. He then turned around."Ow! Was that really necessary?" He asked, holding his probably throbbing arm. "Yup," I said, and then flew away.
I saw Tooth pointing to a house and North heading there. I flew as quietly as I could to the house, making sure that North got there first. When he entered the room, he walked over to the bed and proceeded to remove the tooth. I pulled Willow off of my shoulders, pointed to the tooth in North's hand and put her on the floor. I watched Willow climb up North's coat, along his arm and pull the tooth from his hands. She then ran and jumped up to the window that I was watching from. I held out my hand so that she could climb up my arm. She gave me the tooth and I sped away.
"Lily!" North shouted. I just cackled, really loudly.
I flew further away from that house and saw Bunny climbing out of a window and jumped on to the roof with a tooth in his paw. He slipped on the icy rooftop. Jack pulled the tooth from Bunny's hand as he slid past.
"Yes!" Jack exclaimed. I flew quietly behind Jack, took the tooth from his hand."Yoink!" I said, happily. I flew away."No!" Jack yelled after me.
I got a little further away before the tooth was pulled from my hand. I looked up and saw Sandy on his Dream Sand cloud, waving and smiling at me mockingly.

We moved on to New York. We collected all the teeth there, then met on a rooftop near Brooklyn Bridge. Jack, Bunny, North and Sandy hoisted up their teeth-filled sacks for Tooth to see. What is with boys and having everything between them be a competition?
"Wow! You guys collect teeth and leave gifts as fast as my fairies!" Tooth told us, happily.
Did she just say gifts? I completely forgot! It looked like the others did as well. Their bags lowered and their facial expressions dropped.So did Tooth's.
"You guys have been leaving gifts, right?" She asked, confused. Sandy nodded his head, then shook his head. We then all looked at each other awkwardly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We were in a Launderette getting quarters from a money machine. This was probably was one of the most awkward, cringeworthy moments I have ever been in in my entire life. Obviously, me being awkward and weird with these kind of situations, thought that it was one of the funniest thing to ever happen. Once Sandy got his quarters, I stepped up to the machine, got some quarters for myself and turned around to leave.
As I was leaving, I just started giggling to myself."This is so embarrassing!" I said, giggling some more. "Tell me about it," Bunny muttered, which just made me burst into laughter as I was leaving.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We went back to where we all started and left coins under all the pillows that we forgot to leave gifts at. We all left something related to us. For example, North left candy canes and Bunny left Easter eggs. At one house I left someone a kitten, with a note tied loosely around its neck. The note said:
'Hi, The Tooth Fairy and I have teamed up tonight and have decided to leave you this kitten. Please look after her. She is counting on you.The Tiger Lily'

We left to go to the last town that we hadn't visited yet. We made sure to collect the teeth AND leave gifts this time. This was the same town where I found Jack: Burgess.
After we had collected all the teeth, Tooth and Jack disappeared. I met up with North and Sandy and we attempted to find Tooth and Jack. We looked in some windows for any sign of them, until we looked through a window and saw the both of them there talking, quietly.
"Here you are!" North said, rather loudly. He then squeezed through the window, Sandy and I came in after him. Tooth immediately shushed us and pointed at a sleeping child.
"Oh! What gives, slowpokes? How you feeling, Toothy?" North whispered. A smile appeared on Tooth's face."Believed in!" She replied, happily. "Hah! That's what I want to hear," North said.
A hole appeared in the ground next to us. Bunny's ears poked out. "Oh, I see how it is. All working together to make sure the rabbit gets last place," Bunny said, his voice getting increasingly louder. Instead of responding, we all shushed him.
"Uh, you think I need help to beat a bunny?" Jack asked, mockingly. He then pulled up his teeth-filled sack and waved it in Bunny's face."Check it out, Peter Cottontail!" Jack taunted.Bunny looked unimpressed."You call that a bag'a choppers?" Bunny asked, pulling up his own bag. "Now that's a bag'a choppers," He said, smirking. North stepped forward.
"Gentlemen, gentlemen, this is about Tooth, it's not a competition," North told them."But if it was," North slammed his sack of teeth on the floor."I win! YEE-HA!!" North yelled. "North! Shut up!" I said through gritted teeth. A light shined onto us, and we stopped and looked in that direction."Oh no," North muttered. Well, he's awake now."Yeah, well done to you, North," I said, not even bothering to be quiet now.
"Santa Claus," the kid said, amazed. His light then moved to Bunny."The Easter Bunny," he then moved on to Sandy."The Sandman," Sandy waved in response. His light moved onto me."The Tiger Lily," I smiled awkwardly. His light moved on to Tooth.
"The Tooth Fairy! I knew you'd come!" He exclaimed, excited."Surprise! We came!" Tooth chuckled nervously.
"He can see us?" Jack asked, a hopeful look in his eyes. I looked at the kid who was looking at all of us in amazement. All of us but Jack."Most of us," Bunny told him. The kid tried to shine the light where Bunny was looking, but nothing appeared. Not even Jack's shadow. A look of disappointment appeared on his face.
"Ssh, you guys! He's still awake!" Tooth whisper-shouted."Sandy, knock 'im out!" Bunny ordered. Sandy turned to look at the kid and pounded his fists together. The kid looked confused."Sandy, not with your fists!" I said, slightly worried for the child."With the dream sand, ya' gumbie!" Bunny told him.
All of a sudden, a Greyhound was awake and growling in Bunny's face. I didn't even see it there!"No stop, that's the Easter Bunny! What're you doing, Abby? Down!" The kid told the dog, panicked."Alright, nobody panic," Bunny said slowly, lowering his sack of teeth to the floor.
"But that's a, uhm, that's a greyhound. Do you know what greyhounds do to rabbits?" Jack said, sounding like he was about to start laughing. When Jack mentioned rabbits, I felt Willow's claws dig deeper into my shoulders. I pulled Willow off of my shoulders and handed her to Jack. Jack took her and Willow crawled up his arm and sat on his shoulder.
I turned around and walked slowly towards the growling greyhound. I slowly put my hand on her head attempting to calm her down a bit. It worked a bit, but she was still growling slightly."Easy..." I murmured, trying to calm the greyhound.
"Well I think it's a pretty safe bet she's never met a rabbit like me," Bunny said, trying to act confident. Sandy rolled his eyes and prepped a Dream Sand ball. "Six-foot-one, nerves of steel, Master of Tai Chi, and-" Bunny got cut off by an alarm suddenly ringing. The greyhound got startled and began growling ferociously. My eyes widened and I drew my hand away before I got bitten.
"Crikey! Ahh!" Bunny cried out, and began jumping around the room. I backed up to a corner.
"Stop! Wait! Slow down!" The kid yelled, worried about Bunny. Whilst bouncing around the room, Bunny rushed past Sandy, causing him to almost fall over.
"Sandy!" North shouted as Bunny and the greyhound run past him. Sandy launched the Dream Sand ball, aiming for the greyhound, but instead hit Tooth. She dropped to the floor. As soon as it hit Tooth, I knew that this wasn't going to end as well as we had hoped it would. I transformed into a mouse and hid under a cabinet. I'll come out again when everything is calm.
"This thing's rabid! Get this dingo off me!" Bunny yelled, still trying to escape the greyhound. Another Dream Sand ball went flying across the room, and hit Bunny in the face, causing him to fall to the floor. A third Dream Sand ball was launched through the air, and hit the greyhound; she dropped to the floor. A final Dream Sand ball flew through the air and hit North.
"Candy canes..." North muttered as he fell on the kid's bed, causing the kid to bounce into the air into Sandy's arms. Sandy jerked his head forward to dust some Dream-sand from his hair onto the kid who fell asleep immediately.
"Whoops!" Jack chuckled. He then began looking around."Hey, Lily? Where'd you go?" Jack asked. I took that as my cue to crawl out from underneath the cabinet and transform back to my normal self. Willow jumped off of Jack's shoulder and straight onto mine."Oh, there you are," Jack said with a smile. I chuckled as I looked at the mess the Guardians had gotten themselves into.
"Oh I really wish I had a camera right now," Jack chuckled. Sandy gave him a sidelong glance. Then he looked at the window in shock. Jack and I turned to look what he was looking at and we spotted a Nightmare watching us through the window. Once it knew it had been spotted, it flew away.
Jack jumped onto the windowsill, then took off after the Nightmare. Sandy stepped over everyone towards the window."Sandy, Lily, come on! We can find Pitch!" Jack's voice reverberated through the neighbourhood. Sandy looked at the sleeping Guardians, then rolled his eyes and flew out the window, I followed him.
