~ Shijin's POV ~

* 9 a.m. *

The photoshoot had ended beautifully and the results were so much better than I expected. I was greatly satisfied and happy. I was quite nervous about putting him in wierd clothing and too when it was to be used in such a prestigious magazine.

But yeah, man slayed that.I knew he would.

And that's the everything that it takes to make a rookie company, a brand in just a short span of 7 years.Risk.A lot of risk and chances.

I've always been thrilled and ever-so-ready for adventures and challenges. One them's waiting for me again.

I've given a treat to the team for their hardwork today. And now after seeing off our dear chairman who uninvitedly had made his way to the dinner. No worries, old man. I treated him too. Lol.

I walk my way out of the restaurant through the automated glass doors and raised my hand up with the car keys. A premium beep and the metallic logo of Rolls Royce was already protruding upwards.

Taehyung protested to tag along to drop me home but I denied since he still wasn't done eating. And jungkook will teleport. Waah.I opened the door and glide inside before pulling the car off the place.

The drive was supposed to be silent and it was. Tapping my fingers on the steering wheel, I look out of the window. Everything was dark outside. So quiet.

" Baby " A voice teared through the silence and I almost jumped up my seat shrieking with a now scared yet surprised face.

Jungkook.

He giggled looking at my reaction. I sighed adjusting back in the seat. I took deep breaths until my heart decided to stop hammering in my chest. " Can you not teleport out of anywhere and scare the living life out of me, bunn bunn? "

Jungkook chuckled before playfully shaking his head. " No!" He denied like a kid. I smiled looking at his side profile that was illuminating in the moonlight which seeped through the window beside him. Admiring actually....?..?

' Maybe ' I smile again.

After a couple of minutes of the comfortable silence, he spoke " I said that you'll have to take me somewhere today......? " I looked at me and I nod my head. He continued " We have to go there, now. Take me to the place from where you found me first." He beamed.

You frown at his sudden demand and him a questioning gaze. " Why all of a sudden, gguk ?" You say and stopped the car on a side.He let out a sigh , preparing himself to narrate a long story.

Then he turned his head and his bambi eyes met mine. " We're going there to find a thing. I just realised that today was full moon and it's urgent. I have to find Holy Cath there but don't know the directions, so couldn't teleport." He blurted.

" Holy Math? What did you say" I frowned more and he chuckled aloud at the poor recitation of the mere word. " Yah! Stop laughing and mind explaining. Will you, bunner?" I smack his chest 'annoyed' and he started again.

" So, there's a thing that we mortals use to travel from one celestial body to another. We call it *. I8nsvコ\⁠0 /.¢#_9¥s.  In our language but it's translation goes like Holy Catheenofur.  And the abbreviation will be Holy Cath. Since I crashed, I lost it. And I'm practically stuck on earth. It's a full moon night today and tomorrow, Holy Cath would be easier to find. But we have to stroll through the jungle for it. And two days are apparently not enough! So let's start!"

It took a minute to process everything he said and then I  replied with an unsure nod. Then it clicked my mind and my eyes sparked, " Is it some kind of remote you're talking about?"

He trailed off scrunching his nose and his eyes wandered around. He turned his face again towards me. " Yeah, yeah.....kind of.. remote." He nodded.

Another wave of realisation hit me. Remote.

He's finding it. He'll leave.

I actually got so used to being with him that I almost forgot that he's an immortal and this is not where he's supposed to be.

My house is not his home.

My heart felt heavy at the very thought of him leaving. How will my life be when he'll leave? Well, yes. I'm feeling all of that. That sadness and anxiety already.

Because, I like him.

I discovered that when my heart skipped a beat when he kissed me for the very first time, that was yesterday night after I...Now matter how much I denied but and acted as if his presence didn't bother me. But fuck it, I fell for him, Just like the millions of immortal or mortal women that might've fallen for him only to get their heart broken like mine will get.

I fell for his charismatic personality and how can someone not when he's so kind, funny and pure and that too with such a heartwarming smile and that big bambi eyes that hold galaxy in them and his lips, they're softer and softest, so pink and rosy. And when he kissed me, it felt like all these years that I have kept my lips virgin were actually worth it. The way his lips moved against mine was divinely heaven. He's too good to be a human. And he literally isn't. You can't help but keep falling deeper for each of his little hugs knowing it's just a beautiful dream.

" Shijin?" Jungkook's silky voice pulled me back from my trances." Huh?"" You don't wanna say anything?"

" Oh yes- I was just- I'm sorry. I wanted to ask if you.........you want to go back?" I say biting my lower lip in nervousness looking at him with a slight hope. " Uhh it's stupid but..... Are you not.... I mean, are you not liking it here?" I questioned in a small voice.

Jungkook takes another minute avoiding my gaze as if thinking and then laughs nervously. He shook his head. " No, I like it. But Holy Cath could be tracked in full moon. Once they know that it's on earth, that'll be clear that I'm on earth too. And it won't be very difficult for them to find me. So I'll have to find it before they do."

My muscles relaxed at his statement. A smile stretched over my lips. How thoughtful. He likes being on earth!! I quickly nod and start the engine." Let's go! I got you." I exclaimed.

" You sure we can find your remote in this dark?" I said looking around the dense forest with my smartphone's flashlight while managing to walk across the bushes. The wind was cold enough to freeze your bones. The huge trees resembled siren heads in the dark. Though I like adventures, this one looked scary. On the top of that, the brightly shinning moon and the occasional howling of wolfs and other animals.

Jungkook stopped walking to answer my question." There's no other option, baby. Are you scared? " He said turning around and flashed the light on my face to look at my reaction.

" What? no! It's not easy to scare me. " I stated with a serious expression while shaking my head.He shrugged before giving me a smile. " We'll see." Then he turned around again and started walking while clearing the rare bushes that were creepily slithering down and I closely followed behind.

After about 25 minutes we reach a certain place. It was like a barren pocket of treeless land in between the dense canopies. " We've been roaming like this and we're nowhere kook." I say looking around with my hands on my hips.

" Shall we split up? " He said. I gawked at his innocent face while he asked this question. Another minute later I blink clueless-ly.He looks into my eyes with his  shiny eyes holding the same oh-so-serious look.

Then suddenly I burst out into fits of laughter. I laugh at his face aloud for bringing such a stupid idea." Woah! So smart. You're genius Mr. Jeon! Split up my ass. You're crazy, poor baby bunno." I mock him while laughing my ass out only get him angwy in tiny and frown over his brows with a tiny pout.

And I couldn't help but step forward and reach my hands up to squish his fluffy cheeks. " You're such a cutie pie. Tiny eye candy! " " Stob. It. " He scoofed still the frown on while I tried to keep my hands from not squeezing the little life out the bunny's soft cheeks.

'Back off bitch'

" Okay that was a shitty idea. And we'll get seperated too, besides getting lost that we already are." I said taking a look around the six paths that extend from the place that we're currently standing on.

" What do we do then? It looks complicated."

" Umm...Wait! Do you remember any landmark of where you crashed. Like some mountains or valley or water body or anything being around???"

He scrunched his nose trying to think. Not so later his exclaimed " yes! There were beetroots nearby! A lot of them!!" He said with a bright smile and my smile fades into a blank face.

" Seriously tiny bean? A fucking beetroot? How tiny can you brain be? 😑" He ignored my mental facepalming and instead chuckled sheepishly while again trailing off to think. " There was a river too. Not exactly river but sorta water stream." He said and my face lit up.

I quickly fiddled with my phone hoping to check Google maps. That was stupid though. " Dang! How did I forget. There's no network!"

" I think we should go on the third one." Jungkook suggested." I think, the 5 one's better. My sixth sense says."

" Humans and their 'sixth senses'" " No, kook, I've a strong sense of that. There's a thing in humans, like if we're deprived of one thing than we have sense of other thing. And mine's this, sixth sense, since I have other bodily problems." I argued. He thinks for another moment but shakes his head.

" I'm the God. " He cockily stated and I had to be mum. I sighed in defeat. " Less goo " he said turning to the third path which was equally horrifying. I followed his lead with my eyes and flashlight down on the ground.
