Chapter 7: Road Trip

Y/N POV

Yesterday was stressful, first I exposed myself to the Michaels; and I dont mean it in a good way. I told them enough about my past but not everything. Luckily, it seems Google is  better used for finding porn, music, and clothes. Versus searching up my name. I am not a celebrity, or some kind of royalty, but my family is.

My dad is business tycoon, rags to riches kind of life. Mom was southern bell they met fell in love and had me. Due to complications during my birth, my mother couldnt have anymore after me. So I was stuck being whatever they wanted me to be. I am business savvy, and I can host tea parties,  dances, dinner parties; you name it. I tried to be perfect, not just for them but for him, too.

After my wedding disaster, my parents, relatives, and so called friends, just stopped answering my calls. They left me alone 'your being too dramatic, we will buy you a fine husband'

Buy me... You have no idea how it feels to hear those words, and not break down into tears. My self worth was already out the window,  if I stayed, I would have ended up even more depressed. So, I left. I moved to Maryland and been alone ever since.

That was 5 years ago, my family knows where I am and how to contact me, but they havent. The reason I can live like how I do is, thanks to my Dad's parents. They left me a substantial trust fund, and plus Im a day trader, which I do from my phone around 4am most days. I am not heavy into it, but its enough to pay the bills so I dont have to tap into the trust fund.

Why am I thinking about all this, because after returning yesterday with In the Closet and Thrad, X wanted me to answer specific questions about myself. I told him after I look into what the Michaels wrote down. I know I should tell them about the money situation but the rest I dont think its necessary. So, I do what I am good at, avoiding answering anything I dont want to. I know Xscape says he is key to getting them back, but I am not sure how.

I get them needing closure, hell what they been through, they deserve it. I meant it when I said I will do what I can, to make sure it happens. Xscape has seemed desperate to speed things along, I am not sure why. But, I have a feeling I am going to find out because here he comes and he looks pissed.

"You have been avoiding me." He says as he sits in front of me. I sigh, he is right of course, but am I going to admit it. Absolutely not. "No, I haven't. X. I've been busy reading and trying to plan out how to help you guys. Its just taking longer than I thought." He rolls his eyes. "Listen, when we talk. I need you to be direct, no avoiding, and no half truths." he deadpanned.

I shake my head. "I will try, but you are asking a lot. I like you guys some more than others, but I cant do what you ask so easily. Why do  you think I moved here in the middle of nowhere." he replies "I dont know why, thats why we need to talk. But we also need to talk about what happened a couple of weeks ago, and what you said yesterday." I nodded.

"Give me a couple hours. I am almost done. Thrad and In the Closet, just gave me theirs this morning." he leaned in close and kiss my nose. "Ill be back then."

With that he left me alone in my room to finish up. I finished in only an hour. I had it planned out, I just had to present to the Michaels, and hope for the best.

Thriller POV

The last couple of days Xscape has been off. Like he is mad at no one in particular, but yet he is mad at everyone. Why, I dont know; Maybe he just needs a Snickers or something.

Y/N has been busy on her computer all damn day, we keep ourselves occupied enough. It's just I miss her being out here with us hanging out watching movies, playing games, watching her sunbathe with no top on. Its only been one day and Im already bored.

I see Xscape go into her room, so me being bored, I decided to eavesdrop. The door was slightly cracked and I listened in. When I heard about a couple of weeks ago at the lake, the only thing I could think was something happened with X and It, and they were holding out on us. I got up to go find Bad and HiStory.

I saw them chillin on lawn chairs in her backyard listening to some music. I stood in front of them, they looked at me and my expression.

"Whats up Thrill? You look pissed." Said HiStory. "I think something happened with Y/N It and X. I heard them having a conversation, and it sounded suspect. Plus X's been off for a couple days." Bad nodded, "He has been off, but I dont know if that has anything to do with what you heard. Either way, let's find It and get it out of him." HiStory and I nodded in an agreement. We already know where he is. He is at the lake, he loves a certain tree there, so he goes there to read in peace, he takes RTT, Vince, Mikey, Y/N, and sometimes OTW there too.

It takes us a while, because well we got turned around a few times. Once we were there it turns out he is with RTT, OTW, and Vince are with him. We march up to the group , and i kick my foot at It's. "Thriller, what you need. I am a little busy." I rolled my eyes. I look at Bad and nod.

Ya see this is how me and him are. Bad has no problem being ignorant or a jerk. I still do to a point. When I cant let my attitude out like it needs to be, Bad does it for me.

"What happened 2 weeks ago, when we left you and X, alone with Y/N?" He says with badass attitude. That caught everyone's attention. It looked pale...well paler than usual. "Why are you now just asking?" HiStory who is not happy, folded his arms, and was about to say something when Vince's phone went off. "Hey, beautiful. Whatcha need?......Okay, we are heading back now." It looked relieved but this shit isnt over not by a long shot.

Mikey's POV

I was playing legos with thrad, when Xscape comes in and calls another meeting. At this point I dont want to go to another meeting, they always end up with Y/N feeling sad. After she came back yesterday I hugged with all my might and for so long. She didnt push me off she just rubbed my back and kissed my cheek. "Thank you Mikey, its exactly what I needed." She smiled then held out her hand we went inside and she made all of us some spaghetti. Her smile today told me she was feeling better. So to hear we have another meeting made me upset.

"I am not going." I told them. Xscape pinch his nose, and said "Mikey, Y/N called the meeting, she has a plan on how to help us. Don't you wanna hear her plan?" I bite my bottom lip hard, thinking this is a trick. "How do I know your not gonna make her sad again?" Xscape let out a deep breath. "Mikey, I am not lying. You know I would never lie to myself." I nodded. "Okay." We got up and headed into Y/N bedroom, its not super big , but its enough room for all of us.

"Thanks, for coming guys. So, I know Xscape is in a big rush to get this done. So, I figured the best way to help all of you is....a Road Trip." Y/N just smiles, then frowns. I look at Xscape and he is angry.

"Y/N, this is not a game. THIS IS OUR LIFE, AND YOU WANT TO JUST DRIVE ACROSS AMERICA FOR FUCKING FUN!" Xscape yells at Y/N and she cowers back. Half of the room surrounds Xscape who is changing colors?

"X, you need to calm down!!!" Yelled Demon. This is not good, I was gonna get up and go over to Y/N, but OTW and It, stopped me and took me out of the room. "OTW, stay here with Mikey." It ran back into her room, where we heard yelling and screaming for what felt like hours. Eventually, it was quiet. OTW got up and looked into Y/N room and waved for me to follow.

It was weird everyone was listening to Y/N, and her plan for the road trip. Which it turns out, each destination is a place where the person, that caused the bulk of our issues at the time, currently lives.

Xscape who looked normal again, was staring at her like he was in a trance. Once she was done, "We can leave next week." Y/N said. Xscape shook his head. "We have to leave tomorrow. Your timeline is perfect but we have to be done on August 29th."  "You didnt tell me that." Y/N  groaned. "I know, I'm sorry." Y/n nodded. She was about to leave when HiStory, asked. "What happened with you, It and X at the lake?" She froze.

She looked in my direction and held out her hand. "Mikey, how would you like to some Ice cream?" I know she doesnt want me to hear this conversation, so I agree. Plus, who in there right mind is gonna say no to ice cream.

"I would love some. Y/N" She smiled and took me to the kitchen and made me a banana split. "Enjoy." She kissed my  cheek and left.

I know I am kid, I know they are probably talking about some of the noises I heard, that night. But I am not gonna say anything especially when I got this delicious treat in front me.

Demon POV

When HiStory asked Y/N about the night we first came here, I was surprised. That literally came out of no where. When Y/N left to make sure Mikey didnt hear what was going on. I asked him "Why are you asking?" He looked at X, who by the way, we are gonna seriously talk about why this man just changed colors. I felt like I was looking at the cosmos for a second.

HiStory sucked his teeth. "Thriller heard X and Y/N talking about what happened that night and what she told us yesterday. Sounds suspect to me, and since we all one person. I feel that we should know what is going on." I agree with him. If something is going on more with those three then the rest of us then we deserve to know what extent. Just then she comes back in and closes the door.

"Okay, I will answer all your questions now." Y/N said
