Hey Pinetree

04:51, 26 February 2020

Mabel's POV:

As soon as we went up to the attic, Dipper just stared off at the forest. What a nerd, we just got here and he already wants to take his journal and study stuff. "Hey Dip-Dop, I'll unpack your stuff. You go do your weird, nerdy crap in the woods."

"Thank you Mabel!" Dipper responded. I laughed. One thing hasn't changed about Dipper: his voice was still high pitched like a whistle when he got excited. The second that he said his thanks he grabbed his journal, put on his hat, and bolted out of the door. I sighed. Some things never changed.

Dipper's POV:

"Hey Dip-Dop, I'll unpack your stuff. You go do your weird, nerdy crap in the woods."

The second that I heard Mabel say this, I practically screeched a thank you, grabbed my stuff, and bolted out the door. I ran down the stairs and through the shop and was right out the front door before anyone could ask what I was doing. Though they were probably able to assume what I was doing.

I jogged down the trail in the forest, taking in all it's beauty. I sighed and said, "It's been way too long."

"Indeed it has, Pinetree." I froze at the sound of that nickname and that voice. I slowly turned around, expecting to see the triangle demon hovering above me. But... I didn't see Bill. Well, I did, actually. Just not the Bill that I was expecting. The demon that looked back at me was... a human? Wait a second...

"Y-you-" I was unable to form the right words. There was so much I wanted to ask, there was so much I wanted to say.

"Stop overthinking this, Pinetree. It's giving me a headache." Shit. I forgot that he could hear my thoughts.

I pushed all of this aside and asked, "Why are you here Bill? What the hell do you want!" He smirked at me and slyly said, "I'm just here to check up on my Pinetree. After all, we haven't seen each other in quite a while."

I was unable to form any words for a few seconds. All of a sudden, I felt angry. I was pissed. Before I knew what was happening, I squared my right fist and punched Bill square in the nose. The it hit me: i just punched an all powerful demon in the face who had already tried to murder me 3 times. In other words: I'm fucked.

But instead of doing...well anything Bill would normally do, he just laughed. "My, my, my Pintree, haven't you grown strong." I could feel myself blush. Wait what the hell? Why am I blushing???!

I pushed these thoughts away and asked again, " What the hell do you want Bill!?"

"As I said before," he leaned close to me, "I'm checking in on my pine tree." I found myself blushing profusely again. Why the hell do I keep blushing!? I asked myself. I looked Bill in the eyes, well eye, seeing as only one of them was visible because of his eye patch, and saw him scanning mine for something. After a few seconds, he leaned in closer and said, "Let's make a deal, Pinetree."
