10| The Variety Show (Lee Know)
22:52, 17 June 2025As a famous idol, Yuna is no stranger to attention—both good and bad. For every compliment on her talent, there is criticism about her "bad attitude."
Fans and critics alike often accuse her of being too cold, too distant. She rarely smiles in photos, dresses almost exclusively in dark clothing, and her fierce stage presence makes her seem unapproachable, even angry.
Still, no one can deny her talent. Her deep, powerful voice stands out in an industry filled with higher-pitched tones, and her range and control are unmatched. Her dance moves, sharp and polished, command attention.
Yet even those drawn to her more seductive, intense image find themselves disappointed when they discover their idol isn't as "nice" as they want her to be.
The truth is, Yuna isn't cold at all—at least not to those who know her well.
Her small circle of friends adore her for her warmth, and her team is fiercely loyal, always quick to defend her against accusations of rudeness. But she isn't one to explain herself to strangers or play into the expectations of the masses. Public opinion doesn't bother her.
That is, until it starts affecting her career.
When boycotts and negative press begin to hurt her sales, her management steps in, urging her to soften her image. But Yuna refuses to pretend to be someone she isn't. The concept she's crafted since debut is hers—bold, dark, unapologetically her—and she has no intention of playing the bubbly, cutesy idol just to win over a few critics.
Her team, understanding her resolve, pivots to a different strategy. They start releasing behind-the-scenes videos of Yuna as she really is: laughing, teasing her staff, and showing a playful side that is rarely seen. To their surprise, the public responds well. The clips go viral, sparking curiosity about the "real" Yuna.
From this success, the idea for Yunating is born. If people want to see more of her true personality, she will give it to them—but on her own terms. The show will feature her hanging out with other idols, playing games, and showing a side of herself far removed from the fierce image she projects on stage.
For the first episode, her team wants a group with strong chemistry and popularity. Stray Kids is the obvious choice, not only because of their popularity but because Yuna feels comfortable around them. The easy rapport between her and the members will set the tone for the show's debut.
As she waits for filming to begin, nervous energy buzzes through her. A tap on her shoulder makes her jump slightly.
"Hey," Chan greets her with his usual warm smile
"Oh, you're here," she replies, her lips curving into a small smile as she glances at the rest of the group gathering behind him
"We're excited to be on your show," Changbin says, flashing her an encouraging grin
"Thanks. I just hope it goes well," Yuna admits nervously
Han steps forward, his tone light but reassuring "Don't worry. We'll make sure it's fun"
A staff member motions for the group to head to wardrobe and get their mics set up, leaving Yuna standing alone, fidgeting as her nerves return.
She is fully dressed, makeup done, mic installed, but waiting has a way of making the anxiety worse. Her fingers drift to her mouth, nails between her teeth, when she feels a presence beside her.
"You didn't call," a quiet voice says
Yuna turns to find Lee Know, his casual attire softening his usually sharp features. His hair falls lazily into his eyes, and for a brief moment, she has to fight the urge to brush it aside.
"Sorry, I've been busy," she mumbles, still nibbling at her nails
"Busy enough to forget your phone exists?" he remarks, gently pulling her hand from her mouth
His touch was casual but intimate, something only someone close to her would dare.
"You could've called me, you know," she quips back
"I did" he meets her gaze, eyes narrowing
"Oh," she blinks, caught off guard. He doesn't usually call "I didn't see it"
Lee Know's expression softens as he studies her face, his voice dropping as he tucks her hair behind her ear "Are you okay? I saw some commen-"
"I'm fine," she interrupts, her voice barely above a whisper
She quickly steps back, glancing around to make sure no one has noticed him touch her. But everyone is busy, and no one is watching.
Lee Know sighs, his hands slipping into his pockets. The moment between them lingers briefly, but before either can say more, the rest of the group rejoins them, pulling them back into the present.
The cameras start rolling soon after, and Yuna falls into her role with ease. The show flows naturally as she introduces the concept and the guests, her excitement carrying her through the nerves. She explains that they will spend two days together at a vacation spot, a casual and fun setup for the audience to see a more relaxed version of herself.
Once the filming inside the studio wraps, the group piles into a van to head to their destination. Car games keep the mood light, but Yuna, seated near the front, finds herself growing uncomfortable.
Turning around to see the others, with her back to the direction of travel, makes her stomach lurch. She presses her head against the cool window, trying to quell the nausea rising inside her.
The director notices and suggests they all rest for the remainder of the ride. By the time they arrive, Yuna's nausea has only worsened, her stomach in knots.
"It's late, so we'll film your arrival and the room assignments, but we won't start the real filming until tomorrow morning with the breakfast mission," the director informs them
The group scatters inside the large house, taking a moment to explore and unwind. Yuna, however, sinks onto the couch, her hand resting on her stomach as she closes her eyes. She focuses on her breathing, in through her nose, out through her mouth, trying to settle the queasiness that refuses to fade.
"Are you okay?" her manager asks, approaching with concern
"I got really carsick," she admits, opening her eyes
He hands her a small bottle of medicine "Here, take this. Just try to look like you're enjoying yourself on camera"
Yuna grimaces but swallows the medicine in one gulp, its sickly sweetness making her gag. After a deep breath, she forces herself to get up and head to the dining table, where the others are already gathering.
A tight space remains between Chan and Lee Know, and she squeezes herself into the corner, her legs brushing against theirs.
Chan passes plates and chopsticks around, and Yuna does her best to engage, helping pour drinks and laughing along with the conversation, though her stomach is still unsettled. She avoids eating much, using the conversation as an excuse to focus on sipping her soda.
From the corner of her eye, she notices Lee Know slide a piece of meat onto her plate. Without drawing attention to himself, he gives her a nudge, his eyes flicking to the food and back to her. She understands his unspoken message and takes a small bite, chewing slowly, though her stomach twists in protest.
Periodically, he adds more food to her plate, always subtle, always with that same quiet nudge. Yuna tries to keep up, but it isn't long before her plate is overflowing with untouched food. Her body can't take any more.
A sudden touch on her thigh makes her tense, but she quickly realizes it's Lee Know again. His hand is hidden beneath the table, gently resting on her leg, out of sight from the cameras. His fingers squeeze lightly, signaling for her to eat. Yuna shoots him a look, trying to convey that she can't. He raises an eyebrow in response, silently insisting.
The director's voice cuts through the chatter, and Lee Know's hand quickly slips away from Yuna's thigh, returning to the table. Everyone's attention shifts to the staff behind the cameras.
"Since you've almost finished eating and will likely want to shower and sleep soon, we'll handle the room distribution now," the director announces "There are four bedrooms with six beds, so you'll be sharing with each other, including Yuna"
Yuna's eyes widen. She'd expected to share a room but thought everyone would have their own bed.
"The room assignments have already been decided. You'll arrange the bed situations yourselves. There are cameras in each room, so we'll be filming even while you sleep," the director continues, oblivious to the tension creeping into Yuna's chest
"How were the rooms decided?" she asks, hoping for some clarity
"The chopsticks you received have small numbers carved into them. That's your room number," he explains "Room 1 has a Queen bed and a Single bed. Room 2 has two Single beds. Rooms 3 and 4 have a Queen bed each"
Everyone immediately looks at their chopsticks, searching for the numbers. As the members begin announcing their results, Yuna spots the tiny number "3" etched into hers.
"I got room 3," Chan says, glancing around to see who would be his roommate
Yuna's heart sinks as her eyes meet his. She blushes, quickly realizing she will be sharing a bed with Chan. His gaze flickers briefly to Lee Know behind her, and she notices a tension in his posture.
"Uh-oh, Yuna. You're in trouble," Han teases with a playful grin "Chan hyung snores"
"Better wear all your clothes, old man," Seungmin chimes in, making Chan's face flush
Yuna steals a glance at Lee Know from the corner of her eyes. He is still eating, but the energy radiating from him has shifted, the quiet displeasure unmistakable.
Under the table, she reaches out, resting her hand on his thigh in a calming gesture. The subtle touch seems to relax him, though his eyes remain fixed on his plate.
After the meal, conversation lingers, but the drowsiness from her earlier motion sickness medication starts to hit Yuna. Her eyelids feel heavy, and she caughtes herself swaying slightly.
Lee Know, noticing her struggle, squeezes her hand, making her jolt upright. He casually suggests everyone head to bed, and Chan offers to let her head up first to get settled.
Yuna nods gratefully, excusing herself to the room labeled number 3. It's simple yet cozy, with two cameras strategically placed to capture everything. She sets her things down by the dresser, unsure which side of the bed Chan would prefer, and quickly grabs her pajamas and toiletries.
Just as she is about to head into the bathroom, a light knock sounds on the door. Expecting Chan, she calls out, "Come in"
But it's Lee Know who enters instead, looking around the room with a casual expression.
"Do you have a moisturizer I can borrow? I think I forgot mine, and our skin types are pretty similar," he says, keeping his tone neutral despite the glint in his eye
"Oh, uh... sure," Yuna replies, a bit thrown off "It's in the bathroom, in the pink bottle"
He wanders toward the bathroom and then calls "Could you come show me? There's more than one"
She frowns, confused "What do you mean? There's only one pink bo-"
Before she can finish, he pulls her into the bathroom, closing the door softly behind them. Her breath catches, eyes wide as he raises a finger to his lips, signaling her to stay quiet.
The sudden movement sends her pulse racing, but when she follows his gaze, she realizes there are no cameras in the bathroom.
Her tension eases, and he leans in, his hands cupping her face gently as he presses a soft kiss to her lips. His thumbs brush her cheeks in a comforting rhythm, the gesture warm and familiar.
"See? There are two pink bottles," he says out loud, his voice playful as if continuing their fake conversation for the mics
She tries not to laugh, her heart pounding from the secretive intimacy.
"This one," she murmurs, pointing to the actual bottle with a smile
He kisses her again, slower this time, a quiet tenderness lingering between them. His hands slip from her face to cover both of their mics, and he whispers close to her ear, "Are you feeling okay?"
She nods, whispering back faintly "It's just motion sickness from the drive. I'll be fine"
He pulls back to meet her eyes, his expression soft with concern "Don't let Chan get too close tonight," he adds in a barely audible whisper, the edge of his lips curving up slightly
She chuckles under her breath "I won't"
One last kiss, and he releases her, slipping back into his usual nonchalant demeanor "Thanks for the cream," he says loudly as he leaves the bathroom, keeping up the pretense
"Anytime," she replies with a wink, her heart still racing
After he leaves, Yuna takes a quick shower, hoping the warmth will soothe her lingering nausea. She is already half-asleep by the time she climbs into bed, the exhaustion from the long day catching up to her. Chan enters quietly sometime later, but she is too far gone to notice.

The next morning, she wakes to a loud alarm blaring from downstairs. Groaning, she opens her eyes, her unfamiliar surroundings momentarily disorienting her.
Turning her head, she sees Chan beside her, his face still puffy with sleep, his hair a curly mess. He squints at her, trying to get himself awake as well.
"What?" he mumbles, rubbing his eyes
She laughs at the sight of him "You look funny in the morning"
"Shut up," he grumbles
"It's kind of cute," she teases, getting out of bed
"How do you look like you didn't even sleep?" he mutters, his voice still thick with grogginess as he stretches, his body slowly waking up
She catches her reflection in the mirror and runs a hand through her hair, grimacing at the odd angles it stuck out in "Don't make fun of me"
"I wasn't," Chan says with a smirk "You won the genetic lottery, I guess"
Yuna just shakes her head with a smile, heading downstairs to find out what all the noise is about. The director greets her with the details of the day's breakfast mission: she has to steal one of Felix's socks.
Determined to win, she creeps into Felix's room, only to be met with a sleepy Lee Know, who blinks at her in confusion.
She signals for him to be quiet and approaches Felix on the other side of the bed, lifting the covers by his feet. Gently holding onto the hem of his sock with just the tip of her fingers, she starts to slide it off, but Felix stirs and lifts his head slowly.
"Nunna?" he says groggily
"I need your sock" she whispers
"What?"
"There is a breakfast mission and I'm really hungry, can I please take it?"
"Okay" he mumbles, returning to sleep
She chuckles slightly and removes his sock "You guys should get up, only the first 5 winners will get to eat breakfast"
With a soft pat on Lee Know's head, she leaves the room. When she returns to the director with Felix's sock, she is declared the first winner of the breakfast mission, a small victory she enjoys as she hurries back to change before the rest of the day's filming begins.
Yuna is instructed to change into something comfortable, so she opts for black track pants and a simple long-sleeved white shirt. After brushing her teeth and finishing her skincare routine, she heads back downstairs.
The house is already buzzing with activity, voices and laughter echoing from all directions. The other members have already started their missions, and she can hear plenty of screaming from various parts of the house.
Sinking into the couch, she watches with amusement as Han and Changbin roll around on the floor, wrestling over something. Their exaggerated yelling makes her chuckle.
That's when I.N. approaches quietly, snapping a quick picture of her before she can react. She turns to him, confused, but he just smirks and walks away, showing the photo to the director.
"Jeongin is the last winner, guys!" the director announces
"What?" Han cries in disbelief, still catching his breath
"See what you did?" Changbin grumbles, smacking Han on the back of his head as he gets up
"What was your mission?" Yuna asks, curious, as I.N. returns with a smug grin
"I had to take a picture of you smiling. It was easier than I thought," he replies, clearly pleased with himself
"Who else won the game?" she asks, still processing the sudden victory
"Chan, Seungmin, and Lee Know hyung," he says, pointing to where the others are finishing up their own tasks
Yuna stays on the couch, chatting with the others while waiting for breakfast to be served. A few minutes later, Chan and Lee Know come down the stairs together, both fresh from completing their missions. Chan is still brushing his teeth, looking half-awake as he approaches the table.
"Chan," Yuna calls out, her eyes narrowing
"Hm?" he mumbles, raising an eyebrow
"Hold your hands up like this," she says, lifting her hands beside her head
Confused, Chan mirrors her motion, and Yuna sighs in exasperation.
"Dude... that's my toothbrush," she says, shaking her head
"What?" Chan's eyes widen as he looks down at the brush in his mouth
"Mine is the blue one. Yours is purple"
"Nuh-uh," he insists, shaking his head
"Yuh-huh! My toothbrush is always blue. Didn't you notice it was wet?" she replies, raising an eyebrow
"Ew, gross! Sharing a bed is one thing, but sharing a toothbrush? That's crossing the line," Hyunjin grimaces, clearly horrified by the situation
Chan's face flushes red "I'm so sorry," he mumbles before darting back upstairs in embarrassment
Yuna laughs softly, shaking her head, but she can't help noticing Lee Know standing against the wall, arms crossed, looking a little grumpy. She gives him a quick smile before they all move to the kitchen for breakfast.
The winners of the morning's game are treated to a luxurious meal: a stack of fluffy pancakes, bacon and eggs, toast with strawberry jam, chocolate milk, and orange juice.
The losers, on the other hand, are served plain toast, boiled eggs, and water. Yuna's stomach growls at the sight of the feast in front of her, and she eagerly takes her place at the table next to Lee Know.
As they all dig in, Han hovered nearby, eyeing their plates hungrily. "That looks so good," he whines, his voice full of longing "Can I just have a small bite?"
The winners shake their heads in unison, smirking at his plight, but Han isn't giving up that easily. He turns to Yuna last, his cheeks puffed, his eyes round and pleading, looking like the cutest cartoon character she has ever seen. Her heart instantly melts.
"Here," she says with a sigh, offering him a piece of her pancake on her fork
"Thank you, thank you!" he exclaims, happily biting into her food
As a token of gratitude, Han leans in and kisses her cheek, his face still puffed as he chews. Yuna giggles, turning back to her plate, but soon the other members start lining up for a taste of her breakfast as well. She shares a few bites, even offering some of her juice, and soon the rest of the winners follow suit, distributing their food so no one feels left out.
In the middle of the laughter and food-sharing, Yuna catches Lee Know pouring more chocolate milk into her cup. She smiles at him in thanks, but as she does, his eyes linger on her face. Without a word, he reaches out, his thumb gently swiping her cheek.
Startled, she freezes for a moment as he wipes away a smudge of syrup left by Han's kiss. He gives her a brief smile, his touch soft, before looking away again. Yuna's face warms slightly, and she tries to act nonchalant, focusing on her food.
After breakfast, everyone gathers outside on the lawn where the staff has set up props for the next activity.
"We're going to have an athletic competition now," the director announces "We'll split you into pairs, and one team of three. The losing team will get a bucket of ice water thrown on them"
The group groans, but quickly starts pairing up by playing a finger-number matching game. After a few rounds, Yuna finds herself paired with Han, who excitedly throws his arm around her shoulders.
"Team Han!" he cheers, pulling her close
Yuna laughs, hugging his waist as they wait for the others to sort themselves out. The sun is beating down, and she rolls up her sleeves, already feeling the heat.
The games begin, and as expected, neither Yuna nor Han are particularly athletic. They struggle through most of the challenges, only managing to win the hula hoop competition.
But despite their lackluster performance, they are having a blast, cheering each other on and chanting "Han team!" whenever one of them scores. The fun continues well into the afternoon, and by the time they reach the final event, they are tied for last place.
"The last competition is jumping rope," the director announces "First team to complete 50 jumps wins. If you mess up, you have to start over"
Lee Know bursts into laughter, catching everyone off guard.
"That team," he says, pointing at Yuna and Han while still doubled over in laughter, "Has already lost"
"Hey!" Han protests "You don't know! Maybe Yuna is amazing at jumping rope"
She turns to him, eyes wide "You can't jump rope?"
Blushing, he shakes his head "No... can you?"
She sighs, feeling defeated, and plops down on the grass "Nope"
Han lets out a dramatic wail "Is this a curse on the Han family name? Why can't we jump rope?"
"You seriously can't jump rope?" Changbin asks, looking down at Yuna in disbelief
She shakes her head, too tired from the heat to care much anymore "Not a chance"
"Come on, at least try. It'll be fun to watch," Hyunjin teases, offering her a hand to help her up
Yuna takes the rope, and she and Han gave it their best effort. But they are a disaster, their tangled jumps sending everyone into fits of laughter. Giving up, Yuna collapses onto the grass again with a groan, Jisung flopping down beside her.
"Well, we know who's getting the ice bath," Lee Know chuckles, still amused
After a while, Yuna and Han are made to stand together on the grass, preparing for their punishment. With their mics and shoes removed, they brace themselves as the other members approach, buckets of freezing water in hand.
She squeezes Han's hand, tensing in anticipation. Then, all at once, the cold water pours over them. Yuna gasps at the shock, the icy liquid hitting her like a thousand needles. Han's loud yells ring in her ears as they both shiver, drenched.
But Han isn't done yet. He suddenly grabs her around the waist, lifting her up over his shoulder. Yuna shrieks as he sprints toward the pool, leaping in with her still in his arms.
The warmer water of the pool is a welcome relief, and she stands up, laughing as she brushes her wet hair from her face. Han joins her, grinning, and they embrace in victory, both of them soaked but smiling.
Before long, the other members shed their mics and jump into the pool as well, joining in the fun. But Yuna is soon called aside by a member of staff, who leans in to tell her discreetly that her white shirt has become see-through. Glancing down, she sees they are right.
With a sigh, she quickly covers her chest and hurries back into the house to change, shaking her head with a rueful smile. Of course, the one time she doesn't wear black, this happens.
Feeling uncomfortable in her wet clothes, Yuna dries off a bit at the entrance to avoid tracking water through the house. She hurries upstairs, eager to change into something dry. Grabbing a loose black shirt from her bag, she heads toward the bathroom.
Just as she's about to close the door, a hand catches it. Looking up, she finds a soaking wet Lee Know, his white shirt completely see-through now as well. Without a word, he steps inside and shuts the door behind him.
Before Yuna can react, he cups the back of her neck and pulls her into a deep kiss, his hands sliding to her hips as he presses her against him. His wet body feels cold through her clothes, but he doesn't seem to care. He lifts her up and sets her on the bathroom sink, his lips trailing down to her neck.
"You look so hot right now," he murmurs between kisses "I'm glad they're making you change"
She chuckles softly, "Right back at you"
As his hands begin to slide under her shirt, his fingers grazing her wet skin, he steps between her legs, drawing her even closer. But she pushes him back gently.
"We shouldn't be doing this right now," she protests
He smirks "They're adjusting the cameras outside. It'll take a while. Besides, we're not wearing mics"
"But the cameras still caught you coming in here. If you stay too long, it'll look suspicious"
"A few minutes won't matter. They'll probably cut the footage anyway"
"It's still risky"
"Risky is fun," he teases, leaning in to kiss her neck again
"Minho," she whines, "Let's not start something we can't finish"
"Who says we can't?" he whispers in her ear, his voice low and seductive "I can have you melting in two minutes, kitten"
"I admire the confidence," she replies, amused, "But I'm really uncomfortable right now"
"Why?" he asks, pulling back with a concerned look
"I hate the feeling of wet clothes sticking to me. And as much as I appreciate your body being pressed against mine, you're also wet and cold"
He chuckles, gesturing to himself. "You don't like this?"
"You do look great," she admits, running her hand over his shirt clinging to his abs, "But it just feels weird"
"You're no fun," he pouts
"Go get changed before we get caught," she says, hopping down from the sink and gently nudging him toward the door
"Fine, but you're coming over to my place after filming. And stop being so clingy with Jisung"
She raises an eyebrow, smirking. "Jealous?"
"Yes," he admits, surprising her with his willingness to admit it "He's mine"
Yuna stares at him, unimpressed, but he just grins wickedly, planting a quick kiss on her lips before leaving the bathroom. She sighs, quickly changing into her dry shirt before heading back outside. By the time she returns to the pool, the staff has finished adjusting the cameras and lighting as the sun begins to set.
The group spends more time playing games and messing around in the pool. Just before dinner, the staff announces the final game: the Pepero game. The shortest remaining piece of the Pepero stick wins, and the three players ranked last will have to buy ice cream for everyone.
The members stare in shock as the staff hands out the Pepero sticks and divides them into pairs again. This time, Yuna is paired with Seungmin, whose face turns bright red at the mention of the game.
"Just hold still, and I'll move toward you," Yuna tells him, handing him the Pepero stick
Seungmin places it in his mouth and closes his eyes, his whole body tensing up. Yuna can't help but laugh at his reaction as she moves in closer, holding onto his shoulders. She bites at the Pepero, careful to leave as little as possible. But when she gets too close, their lips accidentally brush.
Both of them jerk back, eyes wide with shock, as the rest of the members erupt in loud screams and laughter. Yuna covers her mouth in embarrassment, her cheeks burning. Across the pool, she spots Lee Know, his arms crossed and jaw clenched, clearly not pleased.
After apologizing to Seungmin, who still can't look her in the eyes, both are disqualified from the game. With Jisung ranking last as well, the three of them prepare to head out to buy ice cream as their punishment.
Han pats her on the head with a dramatic pout. "We're totally out of luck today"
"Not a great day for the Han family name," Yuna sighs as they leave the pool, getting ready to go
Yuna showers quickly and changes into more comfortable clothes—black cargo pants and a snug long-sleeved shirt—before heading downstairs. She finds Seungmin on the couch and apologizes again, though he seems to have gotten over the embarrassment.
When dinner is ready, they all sit around the table, laughing and recounting the day's events. Unsurprisingly, Yuna's accidental "kiss" with Seungmin becomes the main topic of conversation. She glances at Lee Know, but he avoids her gaze.
After dinner, it's time to complete their punishment. Yuna, Seungmin, and Han get ready to leave for the ice cream run while the other members shout out their flavor requests. Yuna stretches with a yawn, her shirt riding up slightly, exposing her stomach, and out of nowhere, Lee Know stands up.
"Seungmin, you can stay. I'll go instead," he says abruptly
"What?" Seungmin looks confused
"You look tired. I want to go for a walk, maybe see some stray cats"
Seungmin shrugs. "Okay then"
As they walk down the quiet street, Han wraps an arm around Yuna's shoulders, grinning mischievously. "Nunna, dressed in all black like this, you look like a vampire"
"A vampire?" she scoffs
"With your black hair and everything under the moonlight. It's kinda spooky"
"You better watch out then," she smirks, teasing
Lee Know, unimpressed, kicks Han lightly, making him stumble forward. He then strides past Yuna, his shoulder brushing hers, and wraps his arm around Han instead, urging him to walk ahead while Yuna follows, watching them bicker.
At the store, Yuna frowns as she searches the freezer "They don't have my favorite," she mutters
"Then pick something else," Lee Know replies
"I'm thinking," she glares at him
He rolls his eyes but says nothing more. After gathering the ice cream and returning to the house, they hand out the treats and settle in to lounge around the living room. They joke and laugh, but everyone is exhausted from the day's activities. Soon, they all decide to turn in early.
Yuna brushes her teeth and changes into her pajamas before heading to her shared room with Chan. He smiles at her as she slides into bed.
"Last night, I didn't ask what side you prefer. Do you want to switch?" she offers
"No, I'm good," he says with a smile. "Were you able to sleep well last night?"
"Yeah, and you?"
"Same," he replies
"I didn't even notice your snoring, I was so tired"
Chan laughs softly, relieved. "Good. I was worried it might keep you up"
"I usually sleep with some background noise, so it'll probably help," she teases, making him smile wider
"Today was fun. Thanks again for inviting us," he says sincerely
"Of course. I had a great time too. Thanks for coming"
"I think it's going to be a very eventful episode," Chan says, letting out a small laugh as he stretches under the covers
"Definitely. The whole Seungmin thing is going to blow up. It'll be a headache," Yuna sighs
She bites her nail thoughtfully, realizing she hasn't talked to Lee Know about the incident yet. He seemed furious when it happened and has barely spoken to her since—aside from a few words at the store. She pulls out her phone, deciding to check in with him.
'Minho, I'm sorry about what happened earlier with Seungmin. It was an accident, you understand, right?'
She waits, watching the screen, but he leaves her on read.
'Come on, I swear it was a complete accident. I feel really embarrassed.'
'K.' he replies simply
Her frustration builds. 'What's with the dry response?'
A moment later, he sends the same "K" but adds a water droplet emoji. Yuna sighs loudly, shaking her head.
"What's wrong?" Chan asks, noticing her mood
She shows him the conversation on her phone, and he bursts out laughing. Leaning in closer, he whispers near her ear, "He's just being grumpy. He'll get over it soon"
"I hope so. He can be such a pain sometimes," she whispers back, covering her mouth with her hand
Chan grins "I can imagine, but he really likes you. He won't be able to stay mad for long"
Her cheeks warm at his words, and she gives him a small, grateful smile. Turning over in the bed, they both settle into silence, falling asleep on opposite sides.

The next morning, the crew wraps up filming. Everyone is tired but eager to get home. After the cameras are finally switched off, Yuna slips out to a nearby store before they depart, wanting to buy some motion sickness medication.
When she gets back to the van, she discreetly hands Lee Know a small bag. He looks at her, confused, before peeking inside. His eyes widen when he sees the pudding she knows he loves. He glances up, and Yuna flashes him a wink.
A faint blush colors his cheeks, but he can't help the small smile tugging at his lips. Yuna turns back around, leaning her head against the window, her eyes closing as she drifts off to sleep.

So... I actually hate this chapter (T-T)
Even after the update, I still hate it. The concept of it is just awful so I couldn't find a way to make it decent, I'm sorry. But unfortunately it is necessary for the plot so I have no choice but to keep it in the story.
I'm sorry you had to go through the torture of reading this, I swear it gets better from here on out
