Lan Zhan's P.O.V

.

.The sounds of night bugs were loud and clear in the lonely forest. As if they were screaming right next to my ear. Luckily that was a full moon night. So we can clearly see where we were going even in this deep Forest. I was holding his hand tightly, never letting go.

They said one man cannot love another man romantically, it's a sin. I say, love is such a beautiful thing, it can never be a sin. Why does it matter if it's a man or woman we all are human beings. we can love whoever we want to love. Only luckiest people can find true love in life so cherish it despite of the gender, if you have found The one.

Villagers were against our love, they didn't wanted to let us stay in the village, saying we will influence those young people. so we ran away.

"Lan Zhan," his voice was soft yet it echoed trough my ear

"Wei ying" this time I stopped and looked back at him.

He looked sad.He was silently following me this whole time, never uttering a single word.

Someone who was always cheerful has fallen today. That made me upset too.

"Lan Zhan what are we gonna do away from all of our family?" He asked.

"Don't worry. I'm with you Wei ying. I'll not let you feel lonely." I told him to comfort him but I myself was not sure how am I gonna do that.

Whole my life, I was the silent one. No matter how much I loved him since I first met him I guess I never really showed him that properly. I guess it's understandable that he's sad to be away from everyone.

Then he hugged me tight.

"I believe you Lan Zhan. I love you so much" he said

I only 'hmmed' I always felt akward to express my love to him whenever and wherever but I really love him I'm ready to follow him anywhere, whether it's hell, heaven or another world. I wish to let him Know it someday.

"Say it back. Say 'I love you too '" he said sternly still hugging.

"I love you too...Wei ying" I replied back this time.

Then we break the hug and continue to walk forward hand in hand.

I guess he's feeling better now.

With a new morning we reached to a place as beautiful as morning dew..... the wild flowers were blooming crazily making this place a lot more beautiful. Small yet clear river flowing through from the middle of those wild flowers. There was a little wooden rundown hut next to the river. We decided to fixed it and stay here together as long as we can.

Wei ying ran around happily. He picked up some wild flowers and put it behind his ear as he looked at me with a huge smile.Which literally hit me right at my chest like an arrow. He's so beautiful. The reflection of new reddish sun that hit his face is making him even more beautiful if possible.

We stayed there happily for a couple of days. Most of the time I would go out hunting for food and other resources. Wei ying insisted every time. Wei ying is never weak if anything he's even better than me at hunting but I'm just so scared that something might happen to him because he's a little bit too naughty.

Sometimes we would go together at nigh for night hunting to get rid of those fierce ghost or monsters to make the place a little safer.

It was night time we were roasting some meat I bought from hunting today. Suddenly Wei ying spoke up....

"Lan Zhan, remember you once said that you wanted a kid of your own but since we're both man you wanted to adopt one someday. I never really thought about it deeply. But now I'm considering it. If we have kids running around here this place might have been a lot livelier."

"Yes it would have been better. I guess" I replied not knowing what to say.

"Lan Zhan....I....." He wanted to say something more when suddenly my Bichen(lan Zhan's sword) started moving signalling that there is some fierce ghost nearby.

We both got up quickly and went towards the direction where that fierce ghost might have been hiding.

Couple more days went by without us realizing. Our life has been pretty normal. We haven't thought much about future but we were happy.

That day when I returned home the sun has already set.

"You're home" Wei ying said with a bright smile.

"Sorry I'm a little late" I said putting my things and some vegetables at the side.

"It's alright. I've already cooked you some chicken soup with rice" he said and served it to me immediately.

After having meal I went inside to rest. It was already dark outside. Inside of the room has lamp light on.

Wei ying was making bed for us. Then he dim the lamp light.

"It's too early to sleep yet" I said.

"Who said we're going to sleep?" Wei Ying said. Then came near to me.

He connected our lips together. I was in dazed for a moment.

His dressed were all loosen up.

"Kiss me back before I get mad and change my mind" he said sternly seeing me standing like a statue.

I instantly grabbed him by his waist and kissed him hard. I felt his smile in between our kiss..

We made love until we both were too tired to move our bodies.

*Next evening*

It was almost dark when I returned home like yesterday. That was because we both wake up late today so it was already too late when I went out.

I saw the half eaten food outside on the wooden table.

Suddenly, I heard Wei Ying screaming in pain.

I ran inside to see Wei Ying tossing and turning on bed and next to him was a bald old man meditating.

I panicked and react too fast and stabbed him.

"Lan Zhan Nooo" Wei Ying screamed as my Bichen pierced through old Man's heart.

The old man collapsed on the ground. He was in a lot of pain but managed to speak up....

"As you reacted too fast without knowing the truth.... you'll also meet a sudden death in this life and in your next life. You'll never get to stay with your lover forever. You'll be separated soon" He cursed me.

I fell on to my knees. And looked towards Wei Ying who now was a crying mess....

"What have you done Lan Zhan? He's a Taoist I knew from a long ago he's known for helping people who can't bear child. I asked for his help. I took the child bearing pill which is bone crushing painful before getting on effect. I needed his help to reduce the pain. It's my fault, I wanted to tell you beforehand but I decided to give you the surprise." He explained while crying hard.

I put my forehead on the ground.

"Please lift the curse off of me i am extremely sorry. I'll take any kind of punishment just don't separate us. I promised him I won't leave him alone. He doesn't have anyone besides me." I begged tears rolling down my eyes.

Old man let out a breath that was shaky ....

"I can't lift it up anymore..but...I can add something to it.....in your next life.....if you split your soul and born as twins..... one will take the curse upon him....and one will survive..." With that old taoist took his last breath.

*Third person P.O.V

Only after couple of days later, Lan Zhan meet his sudden death from heart attack.

Wei Ying was completely broken by the incident.

He was pregnant and lost.

He travelled around alone for long....

Along the way he met a couple who was really kind to him and they have no kids.

As the child born, with a heavy heart, he handed his child to the couple......

And went back to travel around the world until he meets his own end.

A/n : originally I was planning to write it as book 3 which contains about 10 chapters. But I feel like I won't be able to write it anymore so....here it is....:) Hope you like it. Let me know your opinion on this because I wasn't sure if I should write it here because it has a complete different vibe I guess.
