Xiao Zhan's P.O.V

"Zhan ge, why are you crying here?" he asked concerned.

"Just ignore me and go to your room" I replied still hiding my face.

"Zhan ge, are you missing .......my brother?" He asked again.

I didn't replied to that.

Then he lifted my head gently making me to look at him.

Looking at his face so close, I can't help but cry more again.

Then he hugged me without saying anything.

I kept crying on his chest.

My mind keep telling me to pull back quickly but at the same time I didn't want to.

It's been so long since the last time someone took me into their embrace.

"Wang Yien, can I request you something?" I said while still crying.

"Umm" his voice.

"Can you please not do those stuff to anyone when I am around?" I asked.

He stayed silent.

"You can think that I'm crazy but I don't care. It makes me jealous strangely. Makes me miss my Yibo more than anything. Makes me wish, that yibo were still here. And it hurts me. Looking at you the only thing that's in my mind is always yibo. I can't accept you being like that towards anyone. I'm not saying you can't do those stuff to anyone. Just don't do it when I'm around. Please understand my feelings." I explained.

"I'm sorry Zhan ge." was the only thing he said.

We stayed like that for a while, suddenly I remembered that time , when I wasn't even in love with yibo. I cried that night hugging his back because I was lonely. This situation feels a little bit similar. (a/n: referring to book1 chapter 5)

I suddenly broke out of his embrace.

."I'm sorry for being like this. Forget whatever I said just now. Just think of me as a crazy brother in law who's in deep grief after loosing his husband."

I said and got up to leave.

"Zhan ge" I heard him from behind.

I didn't response.

"ZHAN GE........I need to tell you something" he said from behind.

I stopped for a moment.

"Later...I have already embarrassed myself enough in front of you give me some times to adjust myself first." With that I headed towards my room.

It's not like I'm not curious about what he has to say but right now I don't want to face him any longer.

Next day

We were having breakfast when yibo walked down in his casual clothes to join us.

It was already time for his work. What is he doing??

I was feeling a bit awkward to face Yien. But he acted like nothing happened the previous night.

"Zhan ge, let me take you somewhere today" he said.

I looked at him confused.

"You're not going to work today?" I asked.

"No" he said.

"But I am." I said.

"C'mon zhan ge. Ah Xing and I have already decided. Right ah xing?" Yibo said looking at ah xing happily.

"Hmmm..." Ah Xing nodded happily while taking a mouthful sip of milk from the glass.

"Papa....ah Xing wants to go ." Ah Xing Said to me with his puppy dog eyes.

Okay I can never say no to that.

"I'll think about it....."

"Papa.....pwease" ah xing said again with begging eyes.

"Alright alright....but finish your breakfast first" I said.

Ah Xing nodded happily digging into his food.

Yien looked satisfied too.

Yien put on the loud music and ah Xing and him sing along with it.........

It was a long car ride.

I don't know where are we going. I only tag along because they requested. As long as ah Xing is having fun I don't really care.

After, more than 1 hour of car ride I realized we were moving towards the countryside.

A familiar feeling came to embrace me.

The roads started to look a little bit familiar.

I looked out of the window.

That gentle breeze after the rain. I can feel it on my face.

"This place is....?" I asked looking at yien who's busy focusing on the road.

"Hmm....ohh we're moving towards the old farm" he replied.

Then it hit me hard this is the exact place yibo has bring me to before.

Everything was still beautiful.

Yien and ah Xing went to catch some fish with fishing rod. as soon as they reached here. Since this is the purpose of them coming here they said.

I decided to look around the place.

This place has a beautiful part of our memories.

I don't wanna be sad right now.

I want to remember that moment and relief it a bit.

That old farm looks like it has some renovation going on....the flower garden is still huge and beautiful but giving off a different feeling since a lot of new flowers has been planted.

I asked for the bunnies from the old farmer who still works here.

He said, he is no more keeping any pet. It's getting hard for him to look after them.

Which makes me kinda sad.

Then I went near to the river. Where there is a ber tree. It looks greener than when we visited last time.

I sat there remembering him for a while. .

"I realized, he probably has brought you here before." Yien said suddenly coming from behind.

Ah Xing ran up to me and I picked him up on my lap. He showed two little fish they just caught which he is keeping inside a little bucket he's holding.

"Good work" I said while rubbing his head.

He smiled and went away again to play with it.

"Had a lot of memories" I said.

"Grandpa brought us here for the first time when we both were still kids."

"He and I both wanted to stay here. So grandpa gave this land to us as a gift. As we grew up I was the first one who wanted to start something here.

But later on I left for L.A. so he was always the one who took responsibility of this place." He explained.

"So, it won't be wrong to say he owns this place. Now, I want to take care of it." He added.

We had lunch, Which I packed before leaving this morning.

Ah Xing keep insisting that he wants to stay a bit longer. So it was already evening when we decided to head back home.

"Zhan ge before leaving I want to show you something." Yien said signalling me to follow him.

I took ah Xing's hand and followed him confused.

"This....."

"I discovered it a long time ago. Never had a chance to show it to anyone. Your the first Zhan ge. The sunset looks more beautiful from here" he said.

It indeed was beautiful.

I'm not gonna lie I felt sad at some point. But it still was one good day of my life since yibo left us.

After that

We decided to head back home.

It was still as beautiful as last time we visited.

Other part of the sky is getting dark.

Night breeze is blowing.

It was already dark when we got home.

We picked out everything back from the car. Ah Xing ran up to old maid to show his little fish.

And I feel like Yien has been meaning to say something to me since the moment we got into the car to head back home.

And when I picked out the last thing from the back seat which was the empty tiffin boxes.
