Epilogue

2 years later..

Taehyung's POV

Happiness.

It is the exact word that I would use to describe what I'm feeling right now.

To the simplicity of the word until the depth of it's meaning, I think I can understand now how it feels like to be happy.

"Tae" Jin whispered and tugged my hand to get my attention. Our fingers were locked secretly from everyone's sight.

We're currently doing an interview in an tv show overseas since our song IDOL, from our current Album, Love Yourself: Answer, became number 1 in Billboard Hot100. A lot of fans all over the world showed good reaction to the message we wanted to convey with our music through our Love Yourself Series.

I wondered whether this was all just a good dream that I started to spaced out.

When I refocused my attention, my members and the interviewer are all looking at me.

"Liam here is asking "What's the challenges you faced when you filmed Singularity" Namjoon Hyung said in Korean to make it looked like he's translating for me rather than the truth that I've spaced out.

Singularity is my first solo track and the intro of our previous album Love Yourself: Tear.

Namjoon Hyung wrote the lyrics for me 2 years ago and I'm so happy when PDnim confirmed that it will be included in our Album as an Intro.

I felt Jin gently squeezed my hand to assure me.

"It was very hard for me.." I started. I felt nervous because I'm trying to answer the question in English. "It was my first time to film an MV without my members but I'm proud that I made it"

I'm reassured when my members gave me a proud smile.

"Yes and we're proud of you too" Liam clapped. "Many fans commented that Singularity is such a heartbreaking song. Why is that so? May I know what inspired it and what is the meaning behind Singularity?"

"Actually RM wrote the lyrics for me 2 years ago" I met Namjoon's eyes and he gave me an encouraging smile.

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. "When we're in love with someone, we tend to show them only the good things because we're thinking that the real us are not enough to make them love us back. We subconsciously put on our masks of 'Perfection' because we are afraid that if we showed our real self, they'll get disappointed and leave us. Not knowing that in the process of keeping the one we love, we end up losing ourselves"

"So this is an the opposite of the new Intro, Epiphany?" Liam asked and turned his attention to Jin.

"No, not an opposite but rather, a conclusion" Jin answered.

"When we were younger, we always hear the phrases, "Love your neighbors..your family or your friends but no one taught us how to love ourselves. We think that giving everything until nothing was left on us is real love" Namjoon explained.

"But what is real love? The answer lies inside us. It is knowing how to be loved properly. Real love starts in Loving Ourselves. That's the message that we wanted to deliver to our fans" Jin concluded with a smile.

I'm lucky.

I thought as I looked at Jin's beautiful face. Because here, in front of my eyes are my one real love..

Jin not only gave me his love, but he also helped love myself in the process.

Self love might be the hardest kind of love to achieve but it is not impossible to do. As long as you surround yourself with people who genuinely care for you, who will constantly remind you of how much worthy you are to be loved.

Jin's POV

After the interview, we're now inside our private plane to fly back to Korea in a few minutes. As usual, I'm sitting beside Taehyung. The seven of us are just goofing around while waiting for the plane to take off.

The couples are set to sit together and Jungkook--as our Maknae and the only single in the group--are teasing us non-stop. He even tried to steal the seat beside Jimin which made Yoongi pout like a baby.

As much as Yoongi love Jimin, he also have soft spot for Jungkook. So Jungkook, feeling guilty over Yoongi sulking in silence, gave in and barged between Namjoon and Hoseok instead, who welcomed him with open arms.

I saw Taehyung filming himself so I leaned to show my face on his camera.

"Hi ARMY"

"Jin, I'm filming" Taehyung complained.

I ignored him and shoot heart kisses in front of the camera. "Saranghae"

Taehyung turned the camera towards my direction that's why the gentle gaze he gave to me afterwards weren't captured.

Taehyung always do that. He would complain in front of the camera when I disturb him but his face will immediately turn soft when he thought no one is looking. As if that look are for my eyes only.

Bang PDnim and our staffs knew about our relationship as well as the other couples in BTS. We had an agreement with our company that they won't interfere with our personal lives as long as we will be responsible for the possible consequences of our actions.

Taehyung and I both agreed to keep our relationship private for now, for BTS sake, until the time we're both ready to introduce ourselves to our fans as a couple.

When Taehyung finally turned off the camera, I leaned to claim his lips which he immediately answered with the same intensity.

I'm grateful for this kind of moments where we can freely show our love to each other.. Memories which was only ours to keep. For now and always..
