Chapter Fourteen

Looking at the text, Percy was very confused. Only Chiron and my mom have this number. And Rachel, but none of his other friends have phones. The ID just said Long Island, New York, so he had no idea who it was. All the message said was 'Percy, please come back. I need you.'

Percy had no idea who this person was. It didn't say if it was a guy or a girl, or anything. 'Who is this?' I typed back. "Percy?" I looked up. Flame was there still. "Since when do you have a phone?"

"Uhm. Since my mom got it for me?" He said hesitantly, not knowing what Flames response would be.

"Makes sense. She worried about you?"

"I- I don't know. I didn't tell her or anything. I hope camp hasn't called her."

"Ok. Who texted?"

"I have no idea. No ID or anything. They want me to come back."

"Cool." Just then, the phone dinged again. Percy decided he had to make a username, or else the stupid thing wouldn't tell him who was texting.

'You can call me sub-zero' He plugs that in to his phone.

'You already know my name so..'

'Yeah'

'How did you get this number?'

'A... a friend.'

'Who? Are they a girll?'

'Yea.'

'Are they pretty?'

'Not by my standards.'

'Don't tell anyone i'm texting you. Multile people would kill me'

'Um... ok then.'

"Percy, are you good? Who is that?"

"Wrong number."

"Ok."

Hes text sub-zero one more time.

'Imma go to sleep now so dot text till the morning... :)'
