Chapter 21: A Change of Pace

16:13, 15 June 2021

I haven't sweat this much in a female practice in a while. Sometimes I think our coach is going harder on us than the boys coach. But the boys team is stronger, they're faster, they're always moving, if the ball hits the floor, at least one of them is on the floor with it.

We have work to do. I can tell by all the huffing and puffing going on around me. Running suicides because the ball dropped.

Coach said if the ball drops without someone touching it, we all have a penalty. I suppose it's to encourage team work, but everyone is just blaming each other. Sending sharp glances to the person closest to the ball when it dropped.

As if there's not five other people on the court that could have got it.

But the coach says, "No ball goes untouched!" She shouted again as we got a quick drink, "Now back on the court and let's move those feet." She looked to the clock, called out, "Last ball," and tossed it onto our side of the court.

"Mine," someone called before getting it, "Aimi, here."

"Got it," Aimi called out as the ball came her way.

"Center," I shouted, backing up to make my approach. I went in for the quick me and Aimi were still working on. I managed to get on top of it, and snap it down. The girls on the opposite side dove for it, one of them getting a hand under the ball, but could get it up successfully. And with that, practice was done. Or at least this part of my practice is done.

Communication has forcefully gotten better. Every play that goes by silent is ten push-ups. Can't say I love it. But we don't have natural teamwork here. We don't have a captain like Bokuto, pulling us all together. So we have to practice teamwork, with stakes. Just like any other skill, it doesn't come naturally to everyone.

"Alright, let's get the gym cleaned up. Zara, go ahead and go. Learn some new tricks to share with us," she smiled and winked.

With a nod I said, "Yes coach," I ran, grabbing my and heading for the door.

I stopped at the door, looking back to Aimi. She was watching me and nodded. We have plans tonight. Me, Bokuto, Aimi and Akaashi. We've all been invited to Ouran tonight for the twins' concert.

She's gonna wait next door for me and the boys to get done. Then we'll clean up the best we can, change and head out.

I ran over to the boys gym, saw them in lines for receiving drills and jumped right in.

Everything going smoothly, saying hi to a few people on the team. Everyone saying, "Nice receive," every time someone got a nice receive. They were competitive with each other, yes. But they also were encouraging with one another. This is probably where our coach wants us to be eventually.

Hopefully she can do it in time for the fall tournaments. Cause with our team, we have the skill to win. I know we do. But the will is not there. Some of them are still too focused on hating me to actually care about the tournaments.

To them, winning is a given. They're confident. But I'm fearful that their confidence is blocking growth.

But, now that our coach is finally bossing up, they don't seem to have much of a choice but to grow. Which just makes me fearful that they'll blame me for the extra work. I can only take so many evil glares while running.

I'm sure they'd be trying to trip me if they could keep up.

I don't think anyone would have noticed Aimi slip into the gym. She was so quiet. She was already in the corner of the gym, setting her bag down when coach called out.

"Who invited their girlfriend to practice?"

A few of the guys snickered when I raised my hand saying, "She's with me coach. She's from my team. We have to go someplace after this."

"From your team uh?" The coach was glaring at her as she stood frozen, "What position?"

"Setter coach," I called.

"She any good?"

"Sometimes," I shrugged honestly.

His eyes finally slid to me, "Does she talk?"

I smiled a little now as I shrugged again, "Sometimes."

He nodded, closing his eyes for a moment and taking in a deep breath before saying loudly, "Well come on, get on the court. No one sits around this gym but me. Boys, and Z. Set up for hitting drills. Akaashi, quiet girl, get to the net and start setting."

I looked over at Aimi with I'm sorry, written all over my face. We just had a pretty hard practice already, and now she's been socked into this.

I should have seen this coming.

But by the end of it. I wish I had done this sooner.

The coach was digging into Aimi, commenting on every move she made. But also, talking her how to fix it. How to be better, and she was improving. You could see it. The ability that she always had, just not grasping the know how. Now that she had someone giving her the knowledge, she was growing before our eyes. Nothing was perfect, it never is when you first try. But she was stretching out of her comfort zone and trying. And that itself is growth.

Bokuto cheered when coach told them all to clean up, he left, telling Bokuto to lock up.

We all rushed to get the gym cleaned and waited for the extras to clear out before I flipped my phone open calling, "Jay. They're all gone. Pull up."

Akaashi, Bokuto, Aimi and I all went to the front door of the gym where the black SUV pulled up.

I threw open the backseat reaching in it for the garment bags, each labeled with our names. Quickly I handed the bags out saying, "Akaashi, Bokuto go clean up and get dressed so me and Aimi can use the locker room next."

"You're going to use the boys locker room?" Bokuto questioned wide eyed.

"Yeah. Once you guys are done. Now go." I shoved him back into the gym.

Akaashi was already half way to the locker room saying.m, "Let's go Bokuto. We're going to be late."

As the boys disappeared through a door on the side of the gym, I mumbled, "We're definitely going to be late." I dragged my hand down my face then turned back to Jay, "What time does it start again?"

"Seven," he said as he leaned against the car.

"And what time is it now?"

"Seven."

I let out huff and started moving closer to the door of the locker room. Aimi moved at my side, her soft voice saying, "Kaoru said him and Hana's solo is towards the end."

"I know," I breathed, before letting a smile slide to my face. I looked at Aimi beside me saying, "But I do suppose you talk to my cousin more than I do these days."

"Oh, um..." she began blushing, like seriously blushing. Turning beet red.

"Relax," I said, leaning back on the wall, "Kaoru's pretty great. Don't tell Hana or Ros, but... Kaoru's sorta my favorite cousin." I smiled as I thought about it more. It crossed my mind to say favorite cousin on this side of the world, but that's simply not true. Kaoru tops the cake.

"Do you like him?" I asked mostly for a reaction. I knew she wouldn't give me a straight up answer.

She was looking down again, a look of guilt and worry falling to her face. "I... i.."

Bokuto and Akaashi came out of the locker room half dressed, still buttoning their shirts. I appreciate the hustle. I grabbed Aimi by the hand and pulled her through the door and down the few steps.

There was a hall at the bottom of the stairs going to the left and the right. To the left bathrooms, to the right, locker room. Same as our gym. We stepped to the right. I laid my dress bag on a bench and unzipped it to see what my cousin had picked for me. Rosalind is stepping more and more into the world of fashion with her mother and grandmother. Aunt Bri said that all of our looks for tonight are her doing. A test before styling real models and clients.

Ouran concerts are formal. Though you have to be mindful not to out shine the performer so, darker colors are often used.

Mine was a deep green, spaghetti strap with a deep V neck top that snitched at the waist and fell into a flowing skirt that wrapped around and exposed one leg. In the bag was also a small bag of accessories, a black pair of heels, and a strapless bra.

Quickly I began to whip sweat from my face and body with cleansing wipes. There's no time to jump in the locker room showers.

I changed quickly and added another layer of deodorant. I haven't sweat through it as far as I know. But better safe than sorry.

I shoved everything into my volleyball bag, and strapped the heels on. I'm not the biggest fan of heels. I can move just fine in them, but I don't need an extra 4 inches added to me.

I stood up, slenging the bag onto my shoulder and turning to Aimi. "Ready?"

She stood up from another bench, nodding in her new dress. A deep velvet like red dress. Simple but elegant. Her straps were thicker than mine, and her top went straight across and the skirt had volume. It swung and dropped to her knees. She also had black heels on, the same as mine. Her mouse brown hair was pulled into a low ponytail, but it still looked nice. Ros packed her some silver accessories, while I had gold. Mine was really just my jewelry from her house anyway.

She nodded saying, "Ready."

"Good," I said quickly, grabbing her hand and rushing out the locker room.

Once we got to the gym I continued to rush calling to the boys, "Let's go," and practically running for the SUV.

Jay was at the back with the trunk open. I tossed him my bag, then Aimi's before we slid into the back back seats of the SUV. Bokuto and Akaashi handed their bags off and sat in the two individual seats in the back. Jay did a little jog to get to the driver's seat and off we were. Going a little faster than we should have.

"7:15, the first years solos and duets go last so we have some time. It's not over until 9," I muttered quickly.

Bokuto looked back smiling, looking as though he was going to say something but stopped. His eyes sank to my chest. Where my boobs actually popped up a little out of the dress. I hadn't noticed until now.

I typically wear sport bras. Meaning my girls are typically pressed down. But this bra Rosalind packed for me, lifted them up and yeah, not really something that happens too often.

"What?" I said, knowing exactly what it was. I sat back, crossing my arms.

Bokuto closed his eyes and shook his head saying, "Nothing," and sat back looking forward again.

Aimi looked over at me. I smiled, mouthing 'Boys,' and just turned back forward. I still don't know where her feelings are with Bokuto. She hasn't really been talking to him since she met Kaoru. Hasn't texted him and won't even look him in the eye when he talks to her. Not that she looks people in the eye in general but still. She seemed disinterested in him. And even embarrassed sometimes. When he's being his dumb, childish, self, she turns away. While I just laugh and smile along with him because I know what he's like when that smile is gone.

Not just the pouting owl. Bokuto hasn't been home all week, because his father is still home. He's spending the weekend at my aunt's house with me and hopefully by Sunday night his dad will be gone again. It's been killing him to stay away, wondering what he is doing to his mother. But he also knows his mother's wishes for him to stay out of it.

Mrs. Ito told me about fights Bokuto and his father got into. Physical fights. Bokuto can hurt him pretty bad, but in the end, he just takes it out on his mother. It doesn't matter how strong Bokuto is, if he acts, it just becomes worse. Which makes him want to kill him. To end it all. But none of us want that. No one wants that on his hands. He's too kind. Too sweet. He has too much potential to be something in this world. Nobody wants to see him throw that away for this man. At least those of us who know.

Which is just me and Bokuto.

He hides it so well when he's away from home, no one would ever guess.

We made it to Ouran in record time. Akaashi didn't wait for Jay to get the door before opening it and hopping out.

We all rushed out of the black SUV, and I started rushing towards the large pink building, but wondered why I didn't hear rushing feet behind me.

I turned sharply to see the three commoners staring up at the grand building.

"Come on!" I shouted, snapping them out of their daze and rushed towards the building.

I yanked open the large heavy door and ran into the clean, glistening halls. My heels clicked against the white tiles as I moved towards the east wings staircase.

"You guys can look around after the concert, let's go," I hissed before disappearing around a corner.

Quickly they followed. Aimi, as quickly as she could while balancing on 4 inch sticks beneath her heels. Not to say I was moving much faster. Akaashi and Bokuto differently would have passed me if they knew where they were going.

I hurried up the stairs but stopped at a large double door. You could hear music faintly seeping through the cracks of the doors. Ouran took the time to make music rooms as sound proof as they could. I turned back to everyone, holding my finger to my lips saying, "shh..." their chest were all rising and falling. Mine was too. I'm just happy none of us broke out into a sweat. We looked good, we all did. So I nodded and cracked open one of the doors. I left the door opening as small as possible, making sure to not cause too much light to pore into the auditorium.

Eyes did turn to the light as we slipped into the darkness, though the cello duo on stage didn't seem to notice so screw anyone else.

I closed the door softly and moved down the back row towards the back corner of the auditorium. There was another door, left unlocked for me. We've always sat in the same spot for these things. In the box, with the chairman.

I opened the door and started climbing a step flight of stairs when Akaashi asked, "Are we supposed to be in here?"

"Of course," I said softly as I got to the top, "This is where my family sits."

Even in the darkness his blonde hair shined bright as he flew up hissing, "Zara, hurry up and sit down."

"Yes uncle Tamaki," I nodded, rushing to a row of seats behind the adults, aunt Bri, uncle Kaoru, aunt Haruhi and uncle Tamaki. Back there was just Ros, on the other side of her was uncle Hikaru and Aunt Ren. I sat on the other side of Ros. I thought Bokuto would let Aimi take the seat beside me but he didn't. He plopped right down beside me. Akaashi let Aimi sit beside Bokuto though, before sliding into his seat on the other side of her.

The room became loud with applause, the two cellist on stage, stood and bowed and left.

She didn't turn to me but I heard aunt Bri mutter, "Took you long enough."

I laughed a little leaning forward jokingly saying, "Blame Jay." As if she ever would, "Who's up?"

"It's the start of the first years," uncle Tamaki said with a pouting face. He was twitchy and restless. Aunt Haruhi laughed taking his hand in he's and placing it on her lap.

She patted the back of his hand saying, "He's nervous for Ryouji's first solo. That's why I didn't tell him that he was up first for the first years."

"What!" He shouted. Getting some she's from the people below. The stage was getting set up so it sat that dark. The whole room was dark with no stage lights. There's no way of knowing where the shhing came from. But we all knew that the snarky voice beside me was Ros saying, "Uncle T, chill. You know our school has a positive reputation to uphold. Had for people to start spreading rumors about how uncivilized we are."

"Uncivilized?" He started, but the lights cut on and there was his golden boy sitting alone on the stage at a white grand piano. He seemed so sharp in his black suit, under the bright little lights. His posture was perfect. From here, it seemed as though nothing could worry him. But everyone up here knows, he worries just as much as his father. Ryouji is no musical monster like KJ. But he works hard, he follows the rules, and he plays beautifully. I saw his shoulders rising and fall as he took a deep breath. He rose his hands, carefully towards the keys. He seems scared to make the first note. But his fingers fell to the black and white keys and

It was as if he went on autopilot. It was perfectly played, such technical perfection it amazed everyone in the room. He was a prop at the age of 14. Honestly, he's been a pro since he was 11. Playing music precisely how it was meant to be played. Ryouji was no KJ, no. He was not monster, he was a machine. One operating so finely, no one could take their eyes off of him. I couldn't even blink. Even my breathing fell on tempo with the music he played, he commanded. Everything in me wanted to know how such perfection felt, but before I could grasp it. The song was over, and a longing feeling filling my heart. I wanted more of the perfection, I wanted to feel it myself. It's a feeling no one can ever truly know. Besides in the moments of Ryouji's playing.

It seemed as though the crowd was stunned that it was over. They seemed like me, wishing it wasn't over. Begging to feel perfection so closely again. But Ryouji stood, he bowed low and the finality of it was set. The stun took a moment to ware off. Ryouji was in his bow for maybe five seconds of panic before the clapping started. I swear I could see his whole body release, as if he were holding his breath. Obviously the most nose came from above, where we were. Aunt Haruhi and uncle Kaoru had to hang onto uncle Tamaki to make sure he did fall over the edge of the balcony. He was clapping and crying and leaning. A proud father. We were all proud. And thank goodness the twins weren't up after that. I think uncle Tamaki's pride needs a bit of a break.

The rest of the solos went up, then it was time for the duets. The twins were second to last according to the program, then the whole orchestra will perform a few songs, then we can go. Hopefully to get food, or some place with food. Anything involving food. I'm hungry and if I get any hungrier, my stomach will become louder than the instruments.

The duets began, soft and lovely. Calming and the ways the notes flowed. Notes blending happily together.

I heard a phone vibrate beside me at the end of a song. While people clapped and the pair left the stage, I saw Bokuto reach into his pocket and check his phone. I won't lie, I was looking at his phone screen to see who it was. I leaned over a bit and he noticed. He just titled to phone to me, letting me read the message from his mom.

Your dad wants to talk to you. I'm not sure why. Call him when you get the chance.

He responded with a simple, ok, and shoved his phone back into his pocket. He leaned his right elbow on the arm rest between him and Aimi, he was getting to one of his lows, but didn't want to show it. He said something to Aimi, smiling and making her giggle.

As the next person took the stage, he faced forward, smiling again. But it wasn't his natural smile, it was so close to it that, as if it had been rehearsed. But you can't fake the confidence that is typically pouring out of him. The eagerness in his eyes and if every moment is a challenge he is ready to take on and conquer. Bokuto seems as though he can handle anything, but a phone call brings him doubt. And he can't show that now, not with everyone here.

The next pair played, it felt like a love song of sorrow. A story of love and pain. At least that's what I was picking up. I think Bokuto was too. His right hand raised to his face, his fingers curled near his slightly parted lips as he stared intently at the stage. Looking as though he were studying a new combo move to learn. He felt the music, because he was living it.

He still leaned closer to Aimi, but his left hand began to fish around my lap through the darkness. He stopped once he found my hand. I heard him let out a deep breath. He sat up, and interlaced his fingers with mine.

I slid my eyes sideways to look over at him, seeing a bit of peace in his face as he squeezed my hand gently.

The performance ended and I tried to release his hand to clap but he wouldn't let go. I looked over and saw his head shaking softly. He didn't want to let go. Not even for a moment. I don't even know the man, but I hate him. I hate Bokuto's dad for making Bokuto feel this way. For doing whatever it is he does to his mother. They are good people and they don't deserve to have people like that in their lives.

I didn't care anymore about people anymore. I just wanted my friend to feel better. At least a little and having me close does that. This past week of him sleeping on my floor and I've learned just how much physical love he needs. That's why he won't let go. That's why I scooched closer to him, wrapping my free hand around his arm and leaning my head on his shoulder.

Ros noticed, I saw her glance over and smile before turning back to the stage as KJ and Hana took it.

KJ stood beside the white piano in his black suit, Hana in her black dress, both with violins and bows in hand. Still KJ kept turning towards the piano, looking at it, longing for it. It was his first instrument. And no matter what he learns to play or how good he gets. Him and the piano will always have an intimate relationship. Which is why I'm wondering why he chose to play violin for his first concert. Maybe his conductor told him to. Stepping out of comfort zones and things of that nature. Though, I've never seen KJ uncomfortable with an instrument in his hands.

I moved closer to Bokuto, trying to get a good look around uncle Tamaki who kept wiggling in his chair. I heard a small chuckle out of him, before KJ and Hana raised their bows. They each took a deep breath, and Hana made the first notes. Soft and lovely, slurring her notes together. It's what I like about string instruments. The notes can just melt into each other, one after the other.

After playing a bar of music, he twin joined in, playing the bar she had just played while she went on to the next bar.

He echoed her every note, twisting the slow and peaceful song into a blissfully playful piece. It felt like a game of tag. I could see Hana running and Kaoru following behind, wishing he could catch up. The song played in around until Hana had a long pause. Then began to play and Kaoru took his pause, still following after her. But during his pause, he lowered his violin and let his fingers fall to the keys of the piano.

His sister played notes on her violin, and he mimicked after her on the piano. With one hand at first, standing on the other side of the bench, but as the song went on and the notes grew in complexity, he set the violin down on the piano top and began to sit down, all while playing. Once he was seated, his playing seemed to quicken as Hana stayed the same, until finally for the last 3 bars, he caught up to her. And together they played beautifully till the end.

Aunt Bri and uncle Kaoru stood and clapped. With me so close, Bokuto felt comfortable enough for me to let go of his hand. My arm was still looped around his as I clapped loudly. Our whole section did. Then, I thought about my volume and how Aimi probably noticed me curled up with Bokuto like this. I looked over at her, and her eyes were locked on KJ. She clapped, but she seemed to be in a daze. As if KJ had just hypnotized her. She hadn't noticed, and I would even care. Kaoru has successfully lured her in. But now I wonder, could he actually Like her? Or is he just doing this for me? I'd hate to see either of them hurt.

As the twin cleared off the stage, uncle Hikaru chuckled, "Feel sorry for the kids who have to follow that up."

Aunt Bri and Uncle Tamaki laughed too, but for another reason.

"What's funny," Hana asked.

Tamaki spoke up first saying. "That's not how that duet is supposed to be played."

Aunt Bri shook her head saying, "Leave it to my twins to bend the rules so much."

The next act was nothing special. Uncle Hikaru was right, they were pitied. Then the full orchestra came together. Ryouji and Kaour sat together at the grand piano for the final few numbers and it was over. People shuffled out and crowded around music room one, which was one level below the auditorium. They all wanted to be there to congratulate their kids and give flowers and take pictures. While we went up.

He left the auditorium and climbed the stairs heading to music room 3. Where only two instruments lay. A piano in honor of the first king, and a violin in honor of the second.

Ros had the key to the room since she is the president of the host club. She opened the doors and everyone shuffled in feeling at home. Sitting back on couches, and Haruhi right away saying, "I'll make us some tea."

Uncle Tamaki and uncle Kaoru were gathering their flowers to give to the evens performers. Two bundles of roses and a bundle of mixed flowers. That one is for Hana, her name meaning flower

There isn't a flower she doesn't love.

This was the first time I really got a chance to look at Akaashi and Bokuto in the light. Akaashi had on dark gray dress pants, with a dark navy turtleneck and dark navy dress shoes. Simple, but looking good. Akaashi somehow looked like a model.

Then there's Bokuto, wearing a black suit and under his jacket was a dark green silk shirt, he left 3 buttons on done at the top, and it was until now that I noticed he has the same deep green as my dress. My eyes shot over to Ros.

She was sitting back on one of the couches, she saw me and the petty look I was giving her. She leaned forward smiling, "So how's the clothes? I had to guess your measurements, but it seems that everything fits nicely." She looked to me with a sharp smile saying, "Zara here always tries to hide that body of her's. Thought I'd make something to show off some of her good stuff."

"Ros," I grunted.

Bokuto was looking me up and down, first time actually looking at me in the light as well. "Nice job Ros," he said, a smile slipping to his face.

She leaned back on the couch grinning, "Thanks, I do try. Aimi, how's the dress? KJ kinda told me last minute that he invited you, mom told me to throw something together like 2 days ago."

"Could have been worse my darling," Aunt Bri said as she walked behind the couch, stroking the hair of her eldest, "I told you about the time I had to create a wedding dress, 13 hours before the wedding."

"Wait," Aimi said, "You made this?" She looked down at her dress, then to the rest of us, "And everything they have on too?"

"Yep," Ros said proudly, "My mom and grandma run a fashion empire. I'm training to be next in line. Mom's been giving me small assignments since I was a first year and told her I wanted to go into fashion like her. So ever need a gown for dances, graduation, anything, let me know. I need the practice."

"You're all so talented," Aimi said. She was looking down again.

Ros stood, walking over to her. She placed a finger under her chin, guiding her nervous face to look up at her. "Talent isn't about gifts or money you know. It's about hard work, it's about wanting to be better. Not just better than the next guy. But better than yourself as you are now. You," Ros gave a little laugh, "You're good, and with a little more push, people will look at you and say. Wow, you're talented."

Ros removed her hand from Aimi face and leaned back confidently calling out, "Hey uncle Tamaki, how much time did KJ spend learning piano with you?"

Tamaki laughed saying, "Kaoru was over so much, Ryouji thought we adopted him. It wasn't easy at first, but he knew he wanted to be able to play like me, so he kept coming back and kept trying... Now," Tamaki let out a weak chuckle, "I hate to say it, but he might be better than me."

Tamaki stood by the piano, fingers gently gracing the keys when a voice from the doorway called out, "I'm sorry, did the great King just say I was better than him?"

Tamaki didn't even look up, just allowed his fingers to create beautiful sounds on the keys before he lifted his finger to point to KJ in the doorway saying, "Might be is what I said." Then every once of cool left his and he ran towards the doorway, "But never as good as my beautiful son!" He cried as he hugged his son tightly.

Ryouji pushed back from his dad saying, "Dad, will you let go already!"

My twin uncles came forward with flowers for my twin cousins. Uncle Hikaru offering the flowers to Hana at the price of a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. "You were so good," he said lifting her from the ground.

Uncle Kaoru handed the flowers to his son saying, "Way to not bully your sister off the stage Jr."

"I tried my best," he laughed to his dad, then walked over to his mom, kissing her on the cheek and hugging her.

"You all did so good," Aunt Bri said and she hugged him tight.

Ros stood congrating everyone and Hana and Ryouji made their rounds. KJ made his way over to us.

"Nice job," I said doing an old not so secret handshake we made up as kids.

"Thanks," he smiled, he turned to Bokuto and Akaashi thanking them for coming before walking over to Aimi, he spoke lower now, creating a more intimate moment as he said softly, "Thank you for coming." He began to pull a rose out of the bundle he had as he said, "I wasn't sure if you'd come." He held a single rose out in front of him to her smiling, "But I'm glad you did."

She was burning red. Her hand shook a little as she reached for the rose. Once her fingers actually hit the stem, KJ grabbed her hand. He lifted it to his lips, leaving a soft kiss on her skin before smiling deeply and backing away. He turned to Uncle Hikaru asking where Kate was, leaving Aimi to just stand there, staring at the red rose in her hand. She pulled it to her chest and this felt like conformation. KJ got her. There is not might about it, no wonder. He got her locked in.

He's that good. Now I just hope that he doesn't end up hurting her.

"You know what?" Uncle Tamaki called out, gathering everyone's attention as he stood on a coffee table, "I think we should mark this day." He pulled a sharp marker from his pocket and walked over to the white piano. On the side of it he began to write something.

Nervously Akaashi said, "Um... I don't think you should write on school property."

"It's okay," Tamaki laughed as he wrote, "I own the school."

Bokuto, Akaashi and Aimi all froze. At least until Bokuto shouted out, "How rich are you people?!"
