-Diane Shaw-

I've never seen her like this. When it comes to information, she could care less. All she wants is for the job to be done, and the safety of her comrades. That, is what gets her determined. I am always by her side to aid her. Might as well keep that reputation.

"Eve, where are we going?" She takes a right down another hallway, her pace quickly increasing.

"We're almost there." She turns and peeks into a huge room, going into it. I followed.

Debris and glass was everywhere and there was a large hole in the middle of the floor. The center window pane was completely shattered but it seems the clean up crew has come along to temporarily seal it from the pressure outside.

"Diane...I suggest you close that door." Everything was becoming so secretive. None the less, I did as she asked.

"Is this what you wanted to show me? What even happened here?" She looked down, rubbing her hands nervously.

"You see...I also kinda helped Thor in facing the Hulk before we went to Loki." Should I even be surprised? I sighed. There's no point in yelling at her for the past. That didn't end well in the infirmary.

"Alright." I cleared the path away little by little with my shoes, inching closer to her. "So...what did you want to show me?" She took a deep breath, and closed her eyes. Is this a new tactic or something?

"Eve? What are you-" She cut me off, and signed for me to be quiet. That was...different. I kept my mouth shut as she went through this process.

I started to notice a few small objects float in the air. My jaw slightly dropped. A sound reverberated across the room of said small things falling to where they were before. Wait a minute...didn't this happen when everyone was arguing, and no one said anything when it occurred? It happened right after Eve...left the room.

Oh my god.

"Eve, are you-" I turn around to her, and almost scream.

"Y-You're flying!"

-Evelyn Watson...Runa?-

Yeah...I knew she was gonna react like that.

"I know, I'm a freak of nature now. Well, now you know I don't need a plane to fly. I can go find Thor." The thought made me both giddy and scared to death.

"Eve...how are you doing that?"

"I thought about how angry Loki makes me." I chuckled. "But in all seriousness, the only way I can find out is through Thor."

"Are you saying that you're not from-" I cut her off.

"Don't you dare. I have no idea yet, but it'll all be answered soon. Now...I have to go." I floated off to the broken pane, touching the huge repair. It shouldn't be that difficult to tear through this and fix the hole I'll make. My knife comes to my hand and I cut away at it. The small incision I made has pressure come through to the room.

"Eve!" I turn back to Diane.

"Just...be careful ok?" I give her a big smile.

"I'll make sure." I fly through the hole and fix it up, it sticking back to the surface. Man, this is some great technology. The thin air should have killed me, but I feel fine. I soar away from the ship so I don't get hurt, also making sure no one will see me. Swiftly, I move away from it, also going down as I do so.

Thor must be around here somewhere. I have to check if he's ok. It shouldn't be that difficult to find a long haired blonde man with out of this world clothing...right?

As I looked into the distance, swirling dark clouds started to form heavily in one particular spot.

"Or I could just look for that." I zoomed through the air, feeling the wind brushing against my body. I felt...free. This is nice. Once I got close enough I headed down for land. The scenery became more detailed as I flew closer.

A large meadow. Hues of white and yellow dotted the place through beautiful flowers.

"Wow...how pretty." Wait a minute. I need to slow down or I'll-

"Oof!" I quickly turned up so I hit the ground feet first, tumbling forwards quite a ways and creating a large dent in the meadow.

"....Ouch." Remind me to ask for flying lessons later. Large footsteps are heading in on me. I hope to god it's who I'm looking for.

"Are you alri- Eve? How did you get here?!" I laughed. He scanned my body for any bleeding.

"Are you hurt in any sort of way that I cannot perceive with my sight?" I shake my head.

"I just kinda hurt all over from the fall." I slowly sit up from my landing, stretching my arms and legs.

"How did you know where to find me?" He looked up to the dark grey clouds above us. "...Never mind." He offers his hand, and I take it. He lifts me up with ease, and I lean on him a little. There was a pregnant pause between the two of us.

"Listen, everything Loki spoke of was mostly just to rile you up." He looks to the side, like he's at a loss for words. "To rile the both of us up. When he said that you were of Asgard, you do not have to-"

"Thor. Don't have to apologize for your brother...in fact I want you to do the exact opposite." He gave me a dumbfounded look.

"Eve, I do not understand." I took a breath.

"I know it might hurt a little...but I want you to tell me every single thing about Runa. Her past, personality, likes and dislikes...the whole thing." His face seemed shocked for a moment, but was quickly replaced with a hesitant smile.

"As you wish."

-----------------------------------------------AN: First order of business, my first day of school is tomorrow *cries*. Therefore, updates are probably going to come in a little slower from now on, but that will not stop me.

Also!!

Darn it...I got just before the good part in my plot AGAIN! This always seems to happen, but that was the best place to cut off since I was reaching almost 1000 words. So, it's gonna become really cute/romantic in the next chapter, super excited to write it! And the high techy stuff in the room where Thor and Hulk fought is literally something I made up. Kinda like syran wrap. Happy reading!
