-Evelyn Watson-

My steps become smaller as I get closer to my destination. Diane puts a hand on my shoulder and gives me a reassuring face, being able to sense how nervous I was. There's not even any reason to be nervous! Its just a number of people with many I met before, all together like in the plan. A plan I worked so hard on. I turn the corner and see through the glass window, where they all are lying in wait for Fury to come. Rogers and Romanoff were sitting at the table, while Banner was taking a look at more reasearch. Tony was nowhere to seen and there was someone new. I take a step closer.

His golden locks cascaded down his slightly bearded face. He wore a scaly looking armor around his torso, cuffs around his wrists. The muscles on his arm were massive, his piercing light blue eyes scanning the room. There was that feeling again. I still can't describe it. Diane gives me a small tap to try and move me, but I was frozen in place. Something about his aura both wanted me to stay away but just run into his arms and give him a hug. I've never met this guy before!

"You can't stand there forever. Look, Director Fury has come back." Diane is right, like always. I go through Banners work space, as its shorter path. I grasp the door and turn the handle, but something piques my interest.

There's something...a mumbling? It feels very close. Haha, I'm deaf. Probably just a made up noise in my head. That happens sometimes. Cautiously, I open the door, but only halfway.

"I care of how you speak. Loki is beyond reason but he is of Asgard, and he is my brother." I didn't read anyone's lips for that. I didn't have to. Tears well up in my eyes and I lose the feeling in my legs, collapsing to the floor. My things go everywhere, and Diane is instantly by my side.

"Are you alright?!" She grabs a tissue from her bag and I take it, wiping away tears I didn't even realize were there. I frantically search around for my white board. I grab it and unscrew the marker on top, a jittery hand making almost illegible words.

"I heard someone." She quickly reads it, her eyes widening. It seems the noise of all my stuff falling has captured many peoples attention. I can see Fury hold up his index figure, as he goes up the stairs to where I am. Diane meets him halfway, starting to explain what happened. I let out a small sigh in an attempt to calm down. The other Avengers are giving each other looks, and turn to me so they can understand what is going on. Captain Rogers stands up, going straight to me and gathers the fallen papers. He offers a hand to me, and I take it. He heaves me up, but I still don't have my strength back, so I lean a great deal on him. Diane gets my things and Fury goes back to talk to the team. Diane thanked him, and I was handed over to her. By this time I could stand by myself.

"I don't think you've gotten enough sleep. You should head back to your room and rest a little." She motioned to me.

"But what about this?" I pointed to the ongoing discussion.

"Don't worry about it. I'll stop by and fill you in." She gave me a push, and I weakly walked back to my room. That husky voice still rang in my head. Why was it so clear? Maybe it was my imagination? My thoughts became blurry once I felt my head hit the pillow, my eyes closing to a world of darkness.

*Time Skip* -Thor Odinson: God of Thunder-

The commander, by the name of Fury, seems to be talking about our next plan of action...yet my mind is still lingering on that Midgardian. Who was she? And why did she look- Ah, no. I must be dreaming. I turn back up front but our leader has disappeared and my other comrades are talking amongst themselves.

"I wonder what happened to Agent Watson..." The red haired one speaks.

"Yeah, it looked like the wind was knocked out from under her feet." Is that her name?

"Sir Rogers, who is it you speak of?" He turns to me, as if inviting me to the conversation.

"The woman from earlier who dropped her things." He smiles. "And please, just call me Steve." I nod.

"You have my word. Now please, I...I wish to know more about her." My heightened interest makes me wonder even more. Why do I need to know?

"Her name is Evelyn Watson. I've worked with her a few times before." The woman next to me pipes up. "She's a class A agent. I'm pretty sure its cause she can focus more on other things since she's deaf."

"Class...A?" She smiles.

"It means she's very good at what she does." And she cannot hear. How remarkable that even with that kind of disability, she's made it this far.

"I must confront her myself." My thoughts come from my mouth as I stand up. Sir- I mean, Steve smiles and the red haired woman laughs.

"Good luck, seems that Banner and Stark are researching so you got time to kill. I'm going to go check up on something."

"Hah, thank you my lady."

"The names Romanoff." With that she turns to leave. I look back to the table and see another person. Now that I ponder on it, was she not with lady Watson? I approach the woman and in reaction she notices, giving me a wave. I do the same.

"Excuse me madam, but would you be informed of where lady Watson's chambers be?" Her demeanor changed slightly.

"Um yes, but...may I ask why?"

"I am concerned by her current condition, and I would like to aid her." I lean a little closer to her and lowered my tone. "It looks like the others are slightly distraught from the earlier commotion." She nods her head and smiles.

"I thank you for your generosity. For that, I'll walk you there." She gathers her belongings and starts leading me down the hallway.

"If you do not mind, what is she like?" I turn to see a radiant face.

"She's the sweetest girl I've ever met. She's extremely nice, and makes the best out of things, no matter how bad. Its almost infectious how down to earth and optimistic she is. I could go on and on, but you'll be able to see for yourself. This is her room." She lightly knocks on the door, while a tingly feeling invades my body. The door gradually opens, and I'm addressed with a heartfelt smile.

"Good day, my lady."

-------------------------------------------------AN: Agh, writing as Thor is really hard! I apologize if he's a little OOC but I tried really hard. Again I would love constructive criticism, especially on the Thor bit. Now things are gonna get real interesting...sorry if I'm mixing up the scenes from the first Avengers movie as well. Thanks for reading!!
