To nominate:

Highlight the correct category and comment the name of the book and tag its author.

Ex.

If it is inside an Imagine then the format will be like this:

The Morning in MJ Imagines by @Flufflie

Reminder:

You can nominate more than one book but you can only nominate a specific book once, unless specified in another category that it can be nominated again.

Meaning:

If you have, for example, nominated Another Day With You by @mlol in Best Short Story, you CANNOT nominate the book again in other categories. Both nominations will be invalid.

THE CATEGORIES:

Best One Shot

- One shots are stories where they are only written in one chapter. Nominations for one shots can be a specific chapter in an MJ Imagine, as long as it is a story that begins and ends within one chapter.

Best MJ Imagines

- Imagines are stories where every chapter is a random story with the object of desire, which is Michael in our case, being imagined in different scenarios. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

Best Short Story

- Short stories by definition are stories which can be read in one sitting. There are no max words, as long as the story has less than 20 chapters and is completed, it will be counted as a short story. Short stories that are in an MJ imagine can be nominated, just be specific of the said story.

Best 70's MJ Fanfic

- An MJ fanfic where it takes place in the 70's or where Michael's appearance is specifically stated as 70's MJ. Off the Wall era MJ, Destiny era MJ, The Jacksons era MJ, Goin' Places era MJ or etc. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

Best 80's MJ Fanfic

- An MJ fanfic where it takes place in the 80's or where Michael's appearance is specifically stated as Triumph era MJ, Victory MJ, Thriller MJ, Bad MJ or etc. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

Best 90's MJ Fanfic

- An MJ fanfic where it takes place in the 90's or where Michael's appearance is specifically stated as Dangerous era MJ, History MJ, Blood on the Dance Floor MJ, Ghosts MJ or etc. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

Best 2000's and 2010's MJ fanfic

- An MJ fanfic where it takes place in the 2000's and 2010's or where Michael's appearance is specifically stated as Invincible era, This is It era or etc. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

Best MJ Fanfiction Plot

- An MJ fanfic where craziness is the bare minimum. We want a plot we have never heard before and it must be well-written. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

Best Romance

- Where romantic love is the beginning, end, and the answer to all questions. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

The Hidden Gems

- MJ fanfics less than 50k reads. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

Best Supernatural, Suspense, Thriller, Horror or Gore

- MJ fanfics where the the theme of the story is to terrify, scare, make the readers uncomfortable, where there are ghosts or where Michael is not human. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

Best Alternate Universe

- A story where Michael is not Michael Jackson the celebrity nor the King of Pop. These stories can take place in any point in time, it can be in an apocalyptic setting, in the 40's where Michael is a beggar, in ancient Egypt or a futuristic setting where he is a spaceship captain. Minimum of 10 chapters, completed or ongoing.

Best Smut

- It's why we read MJ fanfics. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

Boost Me Up

- An MJ fanfic less than 10k reads. Minimum of 10 chapters, whether it's completed or ongoing.

SPECIAL AWARDS

Triumphant: The Grand War Edition

- The bloodiest award of them all. Simply comment the work you think is the best and we will read them. Books that have been nominated in other categories are excluded.

Author of the year

- This author must have more than a minimum of three published MJ works and they must be well-written. This author must have updated one of his/her works this year, and must still be active on wattpad.

Moonwalker of the Year

- This user does not necessarily need to be an author of MJ works. This user must and should be active this year, can move mountains and sort of an influencer. Must have a minimum of 500 followers.

The Grand Winner

- This is a winner which will be chosen from one of the winners of the 13 categories. The chosen readers will vote for the story they deem worthy of this special award.
