Chapter 9

*The day after Ayanokouji talked to Hirata*

Ayanokouji can be seen going towards his new classroom  which is Class A.

Ayanokouji yawns.

Ayanokouji: (Now that Hirata's issue is done, Horikita and Sakura are left though for Sakura I still need to check the degree of her sadness.)

Ayanokouji reaches the door of the classroom and opens it. As soon as Ayanokouji opened the door, everyone inside stared at him but Ayanokouji just shrugs it, goes to his seat and sits on it.

Everyone stopped staring at Ayanokouji, some continued on what they were doing before Ayanokouji but there some that approached Ayanokouji most notably girls.

Random Class A Girl 1: Ayanokouji-kun...

The girl called Ayanokouji with a meek voice.

Ayanokouji turned at the girl.

Ayanokouji: Hmm?

Random Class A Girl 1: C-can I have your contact info?

As the girl said that she bowed to him while raising her Phone/Student ID towards Ayanokouji.

Ayanokouji: Ok, but you didn't really need to bow and no need to get nervous around me.

The girl blushes after Ayanokouji said that.

Random Class A Girl 1: T-thank you Ayanokouji-kun and also the other girls also want your contact info, do you mind if I also share it to them?

Ayanokouji: I don't mind, go ahead.

Random Class A Girl 1: T-thank you A-Ayanokouji-kun!

The girl bowed again, left and went to her friends to share Ayanokouji's contact info.

Ayanokouji:( She really didn't need to bow to me, it would look like she's my slave or something.)

After that interaction, three people approached Ayanokouji.

Hashimoto: Yo! King, be careful with your spells to the girls. You might create a harem.

Hashimoto said that as he raised his hand.

Ayanokouji sighs.

Ayanokouji: I don't have the intention to do so, I'm quite innocent you know.

Kamuro: Innocent you say, boys tend to be perverts like this one you know.

Kamuro said that as she sat at the chair in front of Ayanokouji and pointed her finger at Hashimoto when she said something about perverts.

Hashimoto: I'm not a pervert!

Kamuro: Shut up pervert.

Kamuro said with a irritated tone.

Ayanokouji: It depends on the boy, whether they have the will, intention and no self restraint right?

Kamuro: True I guess but that doesn't mean that you aren't possibly a pervert.

Ayanokouji: Believe me, I'm not.

Kamuro: Sure sure.

Kamuro said that as if ending the topic.

Sakayanagi: Fu, fu, fu. It looks like your having fun Ayanokouji-kun.

Ayanokouji: Maybe, but sometimes it's exhausting.

Sakayangi: I see, anyways how your time in our class so far Ayanokouji-kun?

Ayanokouji: It's peaceful in a way I guess.

Sakayanagi: I see, well I hope you enjoy your time here as a student of Class A.

Ayanokouji: I'll try.

Hashimoto: Princess can I ask a question?

Sakayanagi: What is it Hashimoto-kun?

Hashimoto: Do you actually know Ayanokouji way back before?

Sakayanagi: Why ask that question?

Hashimoto: Well, a lot of reasons actually but one of it is by your tone when your speaking to him and another one is that a when that King revealed his hidden identity, you said that the both of you are childhood friends but King said that he didn't know you.

Sakayangi: IWhat do you mean by that? Childhood friends? I said that?

Sakayanagi asks Hashimoto that implying that she does not know what Hashimoto meant but in actuality she knows what Hashimoto meant by that.

Hashimoto: Yes, you said that. Also, When your speaking to him, your tone gives me the feeling that you know a lot about him like your close friends or something close to that.

Sakayangi gives a small laugh when she said that

Kamuro: Is that true?

Sakayangi: Yes, we're childhood friends right Ayanokouji-kun?

Ayanokouji: ...I suppose...

Sakayanagi: You sound unsure there Ayanokouji-kun. 

Ayanokouji stays silent and Hashimot asks another question.

Hashimoto: Then is that why you decided to transfer him to our class?

Sakayangi: No, Ayanokouji was the one to ask me that.

Hashimoto: I see.

The door opens and Mashima-sensei enters the classroom.

Mashima: Go back to your seats class is about to start.

The students stopped talking and start to go back to their seats.

Hashimoto: Well that's it, bye King.

Ayanokouji nods and the three of them left. Class now started.

Ayanokouji: (Class is quite boring, what a pain. Anyways, I wonder what my life as a Class A student will be from now on. I'm quite sure it's not going to be hard if I was still in Class C (formerly D) as I eliminated two factors that can serve in my goal to have a peaceful life which is Chabashira-sensei and Horikita (Younger). Though I can safely say that I'm not going to have a peaceful life as I have transferred to Class A.)

Time went on as class sessions were conducted.

*Time skip to end of class sessions*

Random teacher: That's all for class make sure to study because there is a test tomorrow in all subjects in all three years.

Teacher leaves the room.

Ayanokouji stood to leave the room but the same girl who asked for his contact information and some other girls approached him.

Random Class A Girl 1: Ayanokouji-kun do you want to go to the cafeteria with us?

Ayanokouji: I do-

Ayanokouji was cut off by a voice behind the group of girls.

Sakayana.gi: Sorry girls but I have to talk to Ayanokouji so he can't go with you.

Random Class A Girl 1: Sakayanagi-san... I see, I hope you can go with us next time Ayanokouji-kun

The girls couldn't refute to Sakayangi as they know how powerful and scary she is.

Ayanokouji just nods and the girls left.

Ayanokouji looks at Sakayangi and the people behind her which were Kito, Hashimoto and Kamuro.

Ayanokouji: So what do you want to talk me, Sakayanagi?

Sakayangi: Come with us first.

Ayanokouji sighs and follow Sakayangi and her lackeys.

They arrived at the cafeteria, took their meals and took their spot.

Ayanokouji: So... What do you want to talk about Sakayangi?

Sakayangi: What do you plan on doing now Ayanokouji-kun?

Hearing Sakayanagi said that Sakayanagi's lackeys focused their attention on Ayanokouji's and Sakayanagi's conversation...

Ayanokouji: I'm still planning I guess, though I might be going into war earlier that I hoped to

Sakayangi: Wh-

Sakayanagi was cut off by someone...

??: Ayanokouji can we talk?

Ayanokouji, Sakayangi, Kamuro, Kito and Hashimoto turned at the source at the voice and saw Nagumo...

Sakayangi was the first one to speak...

Sakayangi: Oh my... What is the Student Council President doing here?

Nagumo: I'm here to talk to Ayanokouji. Can you spare me some time Ayanokouji?

Ayanokouji: (He had to ruin my lunch, let's just get this over already.)

Ayanokouji: What is it senpai?

Nagumo: I'm going to get straight to the point, how did you get Horikita-senpai to help you?

Ayanokouji: So it was you that supplied the points?

Nagumo: How did you know?

Ayanokouji: Intuition, plus I know the Student Council can influence on how the exam works and the exam that we just had was quite weird. Compared to the previous exams that we have, this one just really gave me a bad ominous feeling.

Nagumo: I see, maybe that's why Horikita-senpai valued you high.

Ayanokouji: (So he really valued me high.)

Nagumo: Back to the question, how did you get Horikita-senpai to help you?

Ayanokouji: I guess I blackmailed him?

Nagumo: Stop joking, I'm being serious right now.

Ayanokouji: Fine, jeez can't you take a joke? I made a deal with him.

Nagumo: What is i- Wait, I now know.

Ayanokouji: What is it?

Nagumo: Horikita-senpai aske-

??: Your correct Nagumo.

Everyone present in the table looked at the person who said that and saw it was Horikita Manabu.

Nagumo: Senpai are you sure that he can stop me? I don't think he can stand against me.

Nagumo said that as he pointed at Ayanokouji.

Elder Horikita: I'm pretty sure he can I mean just look at his new class and assets right Sakayangi?

Sakayangi: Fu, fu, fu. I agree with you Former President.

Nagumo: We'll see what happens.

Elder Horikita looks at Ayanokouji and speaks to him.

Elder Horikita: How is your new class Ayanokouji?

Ayanokouji: So far, it's been peaceful I guess.

Elder Horikita: That's good.

Ayanokouji: Probably since I guessing this is the calm before the storm.

Elder Horikita: Well good luck to you then.

Elder Horikita: It's almost time for class so I have to go now .

Nagumo: Same here bye Horikita-senpai .

Nagumo left.

Elder Horikita stood and was about to leave but stopped to say something that only Ayanokouji could hear.

Elder Horikita: Be careful of Nagumo.

Ayanokouji nodded and Elder Horikita left.

After that Hashimoto gave a huge relieve sigh.

Hashimoto: That was suffocating right?

Ayanokouji: I guess.

Kito nodded and Kamuro just ate her food.

Sakayangi: Quite right Hashimoto.

Hashimoto: How close are you to the former student council King?

Ayanokouji: I don't know but I guess I have a sort of connection with him.

Sakayangi: Your being honest Ayanokouji-kun, what's with it?

Ayanokouji: People are more or less going to be suspicious about me since I former Class C student was now Class A student.

Kamuro: Your right but can I ask you something?

Ayanokouji: What is it?

Kamuro: What did you mean when you said, "So it was you that supplied the points"?

Ayanokouji: It had something to do with me getting the most critic votes in the exam.

Kamuro: Explain.

Ayanokouji: Jeez, aren't you the curious one. Sakayangi-

Sakayangi: Yes, they won't spill anything right?

Hashimoto: Don't worry King, I can keep my mouth shut

Kito nodded.

Kamuro: So? 

Ayanokouji: Nagumo gave one of my former classmates points to buy critic votes to apply to mine.

Kamuro: I see

After that they continued eating their lunch and went back to their classroom as lunch has ended.

*Time skip to after classes ended*

Ayanokouji: (Finally, classes are over. Let's find Horikita(Younger).)

Ayanokouji stood to left the classroom before anyone can approach him.

Sakayanagi just looked at Ayanokouji's fast disappearing figure.

Sakayangi: (So he's doing his responsibilities as a babysitter of the class leader. I wonder if I'm included in it.)

Ayanokouji is searching for Horikita(Younger) but cannot find her.

Ayanokouji decides to call her Phone/Student ID.

The phone rings for a while then Horikita answered the call.

Ayanokouji: (Here I thought that I would call her at least 3 times.)

Horikita(Younger): Ayanokouji-kun...

Horikita's voice sounded dread

Ayanokouji: Can we meet up?

Horikita: Why?

Ayanokouji: I have something to talk about with you.

Horikita: Where?...

Ayanokouji gives her the address on where their going to meet up.

*Timeskip to them meeting up*

Ayanokouji is sitting on the bench while waiting for Horikita.

Ayanokouji hears footsteps. He looks at the source and sees it was Horikita.

Ayanokouji: Horikita.

Ayanokouji: (Horikita really looks like she is really dead, I can safely assume she is in a much more worse state than Hirata.)

Horikita: Ayanokouji-kun what did you want to talk about.

Ayanokouji: Before that, how are you feeling right now?

Horikita: I-I don't know anymore.

Ayanokouji: Why?

Horikita: Why? Why should I tell you?

Ayanokouji: I don't know either but I want to know.

Horikita stays silent.

Ayanokouji: So, how are you feeling right now?

Horikita sighs and says.

Horikita: Bad, quite bad.

Ayanokouji: Why?

Horikita: Why? Don't you already know?

Ayanokouji: Like I just asked, why?

Horikita: You really are a troublesome person you know.

Ayanokouji: Answer me.

Ayanokouji said that as he looked at Horikita with his true eyes and used a threatening tone.

Horikita: It's, it's because your not in our class anymore.

Ayanokouji: Why do you think I'm not in our class anymore?

Horikita: It's because our- no my classmates betrayed you.

Ayanokouji: Are you mad that I'm not your classmate anymore?

Horikita: Yes but I don't blame your actions.

Ayanokouji: Who's fault that this happened?

Horikita: Mine, sorry Ayanokouji-kun that this happened.

At this point Horikita started tearing up .

Ayanokouji: It isn't your fault Horikita.

Horikita was surprised.

Horikita: H-huh?! W-what do you mean Ayanokouji-kun?

Ayanokouji: Just as I said it isn't your fault but.

Horikita: B-but what?

Ayanokouji: You could have done something to prevent this, but you didn't do anything why?

Horikita: I couldn't do anything Ayanokouji-kun! You of all people know that...

Ayanokouji: (There was something that Horikita could do but it wouldn't have any sort of effects and it wouldn't give her the results that she wanted.)

Ayanokouji: You could do something to prevent this. 

Horikita: I'm not *sobs* like you Ayanokouji-kun, I'm always *sobs* depending on you *sobs*.

Ayanokouji: Your not someone like me but still you could've prevent this. I'm quite disappointed in you Horikita, you're quite incompetent.

Ayanokouji: ( I'm not disappointed in her as there were factors that she didn't know that existed. Horikita isn't really incompetent, there were things in her that prevented her from acting like a good leader but that's okay as she is still growing and the least I could do is to help her grow into a suitable leader that can lead her class. )

Horikita: Sorry *sobs* Ayanokouji-kun.

Ayanokouji: Horikita why do you really want to be acknowledged by your brother?

Horikita: Because I want to fix the relationship that I broke years ago and I want to go back when me and my brother were still on good terms.

Ayanokouji: (I'll never understand this as I don't think I have siblings but still from a third person's perspective Horikita's solution is wrong as her and her brother have different intentions towards each other. What a pain of a siblings they are.)

Ayanokouji: Horikita, do you still want to reach Class A?

Horikita: Yes, but at this point I don't know if me and my class can reach Class A..

Ayanokouji: So you're giving up?

Horikita: I don't want to but I don't know I can .

Ayanokouji: So your giving up the chance to be acknowledged by your brother?

Horikita: No, but you already know Ayanokouji-kun.

Ayanokouji: Horikita I've acknowledge you as the person who has the highest potential to grow. If this continue, you're brother will most likely not acknowledge you and I'm going to waste hoping that you will grow .

Ayanokouji: (Everything that I said wasn't false. It is true that Horikita has the highest potential to grow as a person in this school and that I'm hoping that she will grow in to a great person one day.)

Horikita stopped sobbing after Ayanokouji said that.

Ayanokouji: If you stop now, you'll stop growing and that can lead your future as a person. So do you intend to stop or do you intend to keep fighting, surviving and grow? Your the one that decides that. Growing is a part of life, if you stop growing you are as good as dead.

Horikita: I-I'll keep fighting, I'll lead the class along with Hirata-kun and the others even if the obstacles are hard. I'll keep fighting, I'll make sure that I will become great person just as you hoped and get acknowledge by Nii-san.

Ayanokouji: (I never said that I hoped Horikita will become a great person, but I do hope she becomes one.)

Ayanokouji: I see.

Ayanokouji: (With this I hope Horikita won't crumble.)

Horikita: Ayanokouji-kun.

Ayanokouji: Hmm? What is it?

Horikita: T-thank you.

Horikita said in a low voice.

Ayanokouji: What is it again? I didn't hear you.

Ayanokouji heard what Horikita said but decided to tease her about it

Horikita pinches Ayanokouji sides.

Horikita: Nothing.

Ayanokouji: (Ah, it seems like Ice Queen is back. Well, can't say that if that is good or bad.)

Ayanokouji: Let's go back now Horikita it's getting late.

Horikita: You're right.

As they were walking Horikita asked.

Horikita: How is your life as a Class A student Ayanokouji-kun?

Ayanokouji: Sometimes it's peaceful but more of pain.

Horikita: You won't have your peaceful life.

Ayanokouji: I know but I'm willing to do this.

They kept talking about random things and arrived at the dorms.

Ayanokouji: Looks like we arrived.

Horikita: It seems so.

Ayanokouji: From now on we're going to be enemies. Your going to be guiding the class along with Hirata and some other figures.

Horikita: Yes, I hope I can surpass your class.

Ayanokouji: I'll be rooting for you I guess..Leader-san...

Ayanokouji said that as he left Horikita and went to his room.

Ayanokouji arrived at his room, changed and started cooking for his dinner.

Ayanokouji: Two down, one more to finish this. Though I expected to use more threatening methods with Horikita earlier but it looks like she didn't really need. Now as for Sakura, she might be the hardest out of the three of them, I'll call her later, shoot if I keep talking the food might get burned.

Ayanokouji finished eating, cleaning the dishes, took a bath and was now lying in his bed about to go to sleep.

Ayanokouji: I should call Sakura first.

Ayanokouji calls Sakura.

No one responded.

Ayanokouji called again.

No one responded.

Ayanokouji sighs.

Ayanokouji: Looks like I have to text her though I don't know if she will see it. I forgot to ask Horikita if she knows Sakura's current situation.

Ayanokouji's types his text to Sakura.

Message is:

Sakura, let's meet up at (Place) at (Time).

Ayanokouji sends it.

Ayanokouji: I hope she sees it, otherwise I might have to pull other methods.

After Ayanokouji said that he turned off his phone and went to sleep.

*Next day*

Ayanokouji just finished working out, took a shower and ate breakfast. He was now inside the elevator going towards the first floor of the dormitories.

Ayanokouji's phone/Student ID vibrates in his pocket.

Ayanokouji takes out his phone to see what it was, he sees a text notification.

Ayanokouji: (Oh, it's Sakura.)

Message is:

Sorry for not responding to you early Ayanokouji-kun, I was sleeping at the time. I don't mind meeting you at (Place) at (Time). 

Ayanokouji types with "See you there" and sends it.

He arrives at the first floor and exits the first year's dorms.

As Ayanokouji exits the first year's dorms someone approached him.

??: Good morning Ayanokouji-kun!

Ayanokouji looks at the person who said that though he already knew who it was based on the tone of the voice of the person.

Ayanokouji: Morning Ichinose.

Ichinose: I heard that you transferred in Class A Ayanokouji-kun.

Ayanokouji: News does spread fast, well it's been three days since I transferred so it shouldn't be surprising.

Ichinose: Your right, hehe....

Ichinose gives a weak laugh.

Ichinose: How does it feel like to be a Class A student?

Ayanokouji: It's weird I guess, there isn't really a huge difference from my time as a Class C student to my time right now as a Class A student though I might have drawn a lot of attention from all sides.

Ichinose: Your right about that even Kanzaki-kun was confused about you being in Class A.

Ayanokouji: That's going to be a pain .

Ichinose: I hope we can still be friends Ayanokouji-kun.

As Ichinose said that her expression turned dark

Ayanokouji: Huh? Why are you saying that?

Ichinose: Well... Your in Class A now.

Ayanokouji: It doesn't matter which class I am, we'll still be friends. It's not like it's forbidden to be friends with someone from another class right?

After Ayanokouji said that Ichinose's expression turned bright.

Ichinose: Your right Ayanokouji-kun! 

Ichinose sees her classmates.

Ichinose: I have to go now Ayanokouji-kun! Bye!

Ichinose waved her hand and went to her friends.

Ayanokouji just replied with a wave also and continued walking towards school.

Ayanokouji arrived at school and went to his classroom.

He arrived at the door of his classroom and was about to enter until someone greeted him.

??: Good morning Ayanokouji.

Ayanokouji turned to look at the person who greeted him.

Ayanokouji: Good morning Katsuragi.

After that they both entered the classroom and Ayanokouji sat down at his chair.

Ayanokouji: (I don't know whether Katsuragi is mad at me for Yahiko but he from the looks of it. He not having any sort of emotions that are leaking out.)

As Ayanokouji was in his thoughts Hashimoto greeted him.

Hashimoto: Sup King!

Ayanokouji just raised his hand as a way to greet him.

Behind Hashimoto was Sakayanagi, Kamuro and Kito.

Sakayanagi: Good morning Ayanokouji-kun.

Ayanokouji: Morning and to you two.

Kito just nodded and response and Kamuro she didn't say nor did anything that would act a reply.

Sakayanagi: You could at least reply Masumi-san.

Kamuro looked irritated when Sakayanagi said that.

Kamuro: Fine, good morning pervert.

Ayanokouji: I'm pretty sure I said this yesterday but I'm not a pervert.

Kamuro: Sure I guess.

Kamuro sat down at the chair in front Ayanokouji as she said that.

Ayanokouji sighs.

Ayanokouji: Do you want anything from me Sakayanagi?

Sakayanagi: No, I just wanted to greet you but it's quite sad for you to think that every time I come to you you will think that I want something from you.

Ayanokouji: Well that's the feeling I got from all of the times I've interacted with you.

Kamuro: He's not wrong you know.

Kamuro said that as she looked outside the windows.

Sakayanagi: You too Masumi-san? It's quite depressing for both of you to think of me like that, hu hu....

Sakayanagi said that as she started wiping her non-existent tears.

Kamuro: Your creepy and weird as usual cripple.

Hashimoto: Say King, since your X were you the one that beat Ryūen along with his lackeys?

Ayanokouji: Why ask?

Hashimoto: Well, the moment I heard the rumors about Ryūen getting beat up by his lackeys I couldn't just believe it on why they would do that I mean they looked really loyal to him.

Ayanokouji: Well-

Sakayanagi: Yes Hashimoto-kun, it was Ayanokouji that beat them up.

Sakayanagi cut off Ayanokouji.

Hashimoto: I see, that shouldn't be surprising now.

They got silent after that.

After that Mashima-sensei arrived and they had a test as it was announced yesterday.

Ayanokouji: (I should go for perfect marks on all tests(written) now since I'm more or less getting exposed, well it will help me prove my worth here plus it can add more Class points which in turn give me more Private points to use in the event where I do get expelled. So yeah let's just do it.)

Four minutes have passed and Ayanokouji has already finished the test for one subject.

Ayanokouji stood up, went to Mashima and gave his paper.

Ayanokouji: Sensei, I'm done.

Mashima along with most of the Class A students we're surprised as only 4 minutes have passed since the beginning of the exam.

Sakayanagi: ( Fu fu fu, looks like Ayanokouji isn't going to hold back anymore. Things are going to get interesting now.)

Kamuro: (Is this why the loli had me stalk him?)

Hashimoto: (Woah, the King does gives me surprises ever since he transferred to our class.)

Katsuragi: (Is this why Sakayanagi, transferred him here? But how did she notice his abilities? I mean sure he ran fast at the festival but I don't think he was among the people in Class C (formerly D) that boasted their academic abilities.)

Mashima: A-are you sure? It's still quite early, you can still review it to see if there are any mistakes you made.

Ayanokouji: No, I'm pretty sure I answered all the questions correctly.

Mashima: I see...

Ayanokouji: Ah, sensei can I answer the tests for the other subjects in advance? So I don't waste time or anything.

Mashima: If you want to then, go ahead I suppose.

Ayanokouji: This is isn't breaking any rules right?

Mashima: No, it's fine.

Ayanokouji: I see, then don't mind me.

Mashima gives the test papers of the other subjects to Ayanokouji. Ayanokouji takes the test papers, goes back to his seat and starts answering them leaving the most of the students of Class A dumbfounded.

Another 13 minutes passed and all students of Class A aside from Ayanokouji was still answering their 3rd subject and once again Ayanokouji stood up, went to Mashima and gave his papers.

Ayanokouji: Sensei, I'm done.

Mashima actually blinked several times when he said that and as for the students of Class A they were once again left dumbfounded by Ayanokouji's words.

Mashima: I-I see, you can take your break now but be sure to come back here at 2 PM for the results.

Ayanokouji nods and leaves the room.

After Ayanokouji left, some students went back to answer their test papers, some were still stunned by the recent events and Mashima immediately looked at Ayanokouji's test papers to see if he had answer everything completely.

Sakayanagi: (As expected of Ayanokouji, he more or less got perfect scores in all subjects. The White Room does give you wonders, fu fu fu)

As Sakayanagi said that in her thoughts she gave a small laugh which no one noticed.

After a while Mashima finished looking at Ayanokouji's test papers, he put it down and went back to looking at his class while keeping a calm face.

Mashima: (Just who is this kid? Is this why Sakayanagi transferred him here? And how was he able to not get noticed by the school? I don't remember him being one of the intelligent people in his former class. Surely when the school was picking students for admission they didn't make any sort of mistake right? He doesn't look  like a bad kid or something. Why was he placed in Class D? And if the school didn't make any mistake during his admission here, what's his defect?)

*Scene change to Ayanokouji*

Ayanokouji can be seen walking around the halls of the 1st years building.

Ayanokouji: ( I must say, this is kinda fun. Next exams I should them early. Where should I stay for the time being? The library might be the most suitable choice I might meet Hiyori/Shiina there if I wait for some time but I should buy lunch first.)

Ayanokouji heads to the cafeteria, buys lunch and heads to the table to sit down. He then starts eating his lunch.

Ayanokouji: (It's been a while since I ate lunch in this eerie silence, last time I experienced this was in the White Room though I have to say this is situation right now is very similar when having lunch in the White Room the staff present here that glancing at me very often are similar to the guards who would stare and observed us. Well it's understandable why they are glancing at me as I'm assuming that this is the first time that they saw a students in the cafeteria in class hours.)

Ayanokouji finished eating his lunch and headed to the library.

Ayanokouji arrived, he picked the book that Hiyori had recommended him to read. He looked for a comfortable spot to sit on, went to it and started reading.

As Ayanokouji was reading he came across a character that said something that struck him.

This is what the character from the book said.

"What kind of dumbass hangs himself just because he knows he's gonna die tomorrow? Even if you have no choice but to walk to the gallows, you can still choose how you're gonna climb the steps. We've made our choice. All that's left is to live by that."

AN:Do you know where this ^ is from????

Ayanokouji: ( Quite similar to mine I must say, theirs is death while mine is going back to the White Room, both of us know that our fates were already sealed but what the character said really struck something inside me. I don't know what it is, but I'm quite interested in it.)

Ayanokouji: (They chose on how they are going towards death, I wonder should I kill myself? I mean if I do kill myself I will obtain freedom but if I'm going to kill myself I should at least destroy the White Room right? Well, I don't even know how I'm going to start destroying the White Room as I can only within this school and if I go outside I'm immediately going back to the White Room so it's more or less impossible for me to destroy the White Room as long as they're pursuing me.)

Ayanokouji yawns.

Ayanokouji: I should take a nap for now, since I'm going to get interrogated by them.

Ayanokouji takes a nap.

After a for some time.

Ayanokouji wakes up from his nap and yawns.

??: Oh, good afternoon Ayanokoujikun.

Ayanokouji: Good afternoon Hiyori, what time is it?

Hiyori checks her phone.

Hiyori: It's 1:15 PM

Ayanokouji: Thanks.

Hiyori: No need.

Ayanokouji: When did you get here?

Hiyori: Just a few minutes ago, I picked a book, then looked for a spot until I noticed your sleeping figure so I decided to sit next to you and you woke just I sat down. Sorry if I disturb your nap.

Ayanokouji: No need to apologize, in fact if I didn't wake up I might have missed the results.

Hiyori: Your right... Say Ayanokouji-kun I have a question.

Ayanokouji: What is it?

Hiyori: Why did your classmates vote you out?

Ayanokouji: Well, I don't know the intent behind but all I know that it was planned by one of my classmates.

Hiyori had a sad look on her face

Hiyori: Why though? I don't think Ayanokouji-kun did anything bad.

Ayanokouji: I thought the same, I never did anything bad in class but don't worry the fact that I'm still here means that I didn't get expelled right?

Hiyori regained her usual happy face after Ayanokouji said that.

Hiyori: That means Ayanokouji-kun did something right?

Ayanokouji: How do you know?

Hiyori: Well, I know your someone special Ayanokouji-kun and I had a feeling that you were involved in the past victories Class C.

Ayanokouji: (I know she is sharp but never really expected this.)

Ayanokouji: I see, is it safe to assume that your stalking me?

Ayanokouji started to tease Hiyori.

Hiyori got flustered by that.

Hiyori: I-It's not like that Ayanokouji-kun! I just a had feeling, a feeling.

After Hiyori said that she covered her lower face with the book she was reading.

Ayanokouji: Ok ok, sorry for teasing you .

They talked about books their usual conversation.

After a while Ayanokouji looked at his Student ID/ Phone to look at the time and noticed it was 1:43 PM

Ayanokouji: Hiyori, we should go now it's near 2 PM.

Hiyori looked at her Student ID/ Phone to looked at the time.

Hiyori: Your right Ayanokouji-kun, sorry for taking a lot of your time.

Ayanokouji: You really don't need to apologize because I had fun.

Hiyori: Same here Ayanokouji-kun, I had fun too.

They returned the books they read and went back to their respective classrooms.

Authors Note: Sorry for the long delay, I had to make tons of assignments like a, report, 2 video presentations. Well, as for updates I think I can upload a chapter every 6-7 days I hope, because of school that keeps piling up. I'll do my best to make the future chapter long and presentable.
