Wednesday's POV

"Sinclair." I say over to Enid from my desk

"Yes?" She responds

"If we must sleep in the same bed for a longer period of time, there are some rules." I say

"What would those rules be?" Enid asks

"First is the most obvious one, no touching whatsoever. That includes that thing you call cuddling. Secondly, my bed is big enough so there no reason why you should ever end up on my side." I explain

"Seems fair, but what about when we're around your family and the ball?" Enid asks

"Oh right, well I believe I'll be comfortable with simple hand holding and the occasional kiss on the cheek. And possibly, if you're also comfortable, the very rare occurrence of actually kissing. If we are watching a movie with the family you can hold onto my arm. We can come up with a code word or movement so we know if the other is uncomfortable." I say

"I am comfortable with occasionally giving you kisses. Our little code thing should be the rubbing of the ear or a tug on the ear." She says

"The last thing I want to do is make you feel uncomfortable. I just want my deadly family to stop antagonizing me about all relationship matters. So I do appreciate you doing this for me." I say

"I promise to let you know if I'm uncomfortable and I totally get that." Enid says with a sigh

"Okay then." I say turning my back to her.

The last person I kissed was Tyler and I saw that vision. I can't imagine kissing Enid would be like that. We have two weeks to get everything together before the family arrives.

I hear footsteps approaching my door. I get up from my desk and open the door.

"Hello mother." I say

"Hello darling, little Pubert wanted to see his sister." My mother says holding Pubert.

"WENNY!" Pubert says

Enid gets up from my bed and comes to the door. I try to hide my face from her, I'm embarrassed.

"Wenny?" Enid questions

"Yeah, um he can't exactly say my full name yet." I explain uncomfortably

"That's actually so cute." Enid says

"No, it's disgusting." I retort

"My name is Enid." Enid says to Pubert

"Enie!" Pubert says

"He even gave you a nickname dear" My mother says

"I'll take it." Enid says with a smile.

"I also wanted to tell you girls that dinner is ready." My mother says

"Okay, we will be down in a second." I say

"Alright." My mother says as she turns back down the hall.

"We're Wenny and Enie!" Enid says happily

"Repeat that name to anyone and I cannot guarantee the safety of your stuffed animal collection." I say looking in her eyes

"You wouldn't dare!" Enid says with a smirk

"Oh but I do." I say

"Honestly, yeah you would." Enid says with a laugh

"Lets head down." I say

Enid and I walk down to the dining room. I reach for Enid's hand to hold and to guide her. She kinda jumped at this movement.

"You okay?" I whisper

"Yeah, uh just wasn't expecting it." Enid says

"Okay." I respond

We really need to practice this whole thing.

We get to the dining room and I pull out the chair for Enid.

"Thank you Wens." She says smiling

I take a seat next to her.

"Our little scorpion treating you well?" My father asks

"Oh yes, she's great. You raised quite the gentlewoman." Enid says with a smile.

"I watched the torturous relationship between my mother and father growing up so I picked up on a few things." I say

"Since when are dogs allowed at the table?" Pugsley asks

I give him my death stare.

"Pugsley Addams!" My mother says loudly

"What? Why can Wednesday have a werewolf and I can't have a bear?" He asks

"Because this wolf is trained and is actually lovable." I say to him

"Enid, are you safe? Did Wednesday blackmail you or something?" Pugsley asks

"Yes, I'm safe and no she did not." Enid says with a small laugh

Her laugh is almost as beautiful as my cello playing.

"And I don't think YOU should be talking, you have a dog breed in your name." I say defensively

"Wednesday." Enid says trying to hide her laugh

"Fine, you win this one sister." Pugsley says

We all eat dinner having relatively decent conversations. Mostly it was Enid and my parents talking about things I don't really care about.

Enid's POV

I cannot wrap my head around the fact that I'm actually sitting here, at WEDNESDAY'S house eating dinner with her family. And that I'm her "girlfriend".

"Enid?" I hear coming from Wednesday.

"Huh, yeah whats up?" I say

"Did you not hear?" She asks

"No, sorry I was in my own little world for a moment." I say

"Well mother wants to take you dress shopping tomorrow." Wednesday says

"OMG yes, I'm so down!" I say excitedly

"Thats good to hear darling." Mortica says

"I don't really have any good formal clothes" I say looking down at my plate.

"It's okay dear, we will buy you everything you'll need." Mortica says

"May we be excused back to my room Mother?" Wednesday asks

"You may." Mortica answers

"Thank you for a delicious meal." I say as we get up from the table.

Wednesday leads me back to her room.

"Mother will want to head out first thing in the morning so I'll make sure to wake you." Wednesday says

"Sounds good and I'm actually excited. My mom never wanted to do stuff like that with me." I say as I lay down on Wednesday's bed.

"My mother will take you under her wing and give you that motherly love that you desire." She says looking at me softly.

Wednesday also makes her way to the bed and sits down next to me.

"So um I have a question Wens." I say nervously

"What is it?" She answers

"Well uh remember earlier when we discussed our rules and we both agreed on kissing?" I say

"Yes, I remember that conversation very well." She says

"Do you think we should, I don't know, maybe do a practice kiss?" I ask

Wednesday sits there in silence for a moment.

"You know to make it believable!" I added on

"That may not be the worst idea." She says

"Don't want anyone catching onto our little secret right." I say nervously

"Okay." Wednesday says.

"So?" I question

"Oh you wanna do that practice thing now?" She asks

"Only if you want to. I just don't want our "first" kiss to be in front of everyone and we just don't know what to do or something. It would be so embarrassing if I messed up or something. I don't know" I say rambling

I feel Wednesday's ice cold hand on my cheek to get me to face her. I start to lean in and the space between us gets smaller.

I feel her soft lips press against mine. I put my hand on her neck to pull her a little closer. It's magical.

We kiss for a few moments.

I feel her wanting to deepen the kiss which I allow. She pulls me onto her lap and we passionately kiss for a few minutes. I feel her hands on my back holding me up. I have my hands wrapped around her neck keeping her as close as possible.

We break apart from the kiss.

"That was..." Wednesday starts

"Cat got your tongue Wens?" I ask still sitting on her lap.

"Shush it Sinclair." She says rolling her eyes

"I think that was a good practice run." I say shyly

"I agree." She says looking up at me.

"I'm uh tired, should we get to sleep?" I ask getting off from her lap.

I feel my face burning up.

I get on my side of the bed and I turn over so I'm not facing Wednesday. Omg. I kissed Wednesday. SHE KISSED ME. Yoko is totally gonna freak out. But I can't get my hopes up.

This is only pretend. It's not real.

"Night Sinclair." Wednesday says

"Goodnight Wens." I say

This is only for the summer and then when school starts, we're just gonna be friends. Nothing more...
