Ch. 21

Jin and Jimin pull into the driveway, which has deliberately been left empty, and cut the engine.

"It seems that no ones home" Jimin sighs. "He said they were here."

"Lets go inside and wait, maybe they just went out for something" Jin reassures him. They walk inside the dark house and walk around. Then Jimin sees lights pouring in through the kitchen window, he heads towards the backyard.

"Jin-hyung what's going on?" Jimin asks to open air. "Jin-hyung?" Jimin opens the sliding glass door and is blinded by beautiful hanging lights lining the fence and a massive food spread on multiple tables and everyone standing there to welcome him.

"Surprise!!!!!" everyone shouts. Jimin is in awe but confused all the more until he sees Yoongi approach from the side of the house in a suit looking very shy.

"What's going on? What is all this?" Jimin smiles, dumbfounded.

"Do you like your surprise?" Yoongi asks, a blush creeping up on his fair cheeks.

"Yes, but what's all this for? Why is everyone here?" At this Yoongi takes Jimin's hand and they walk together over to an archway set in the corner of the backyard decorated in roses and colored lights. They sit together on a white stone bench while Yoongi takes Jimin's hands in his.

"Jimin, I know we haven't been together long. We've had a long and challenging journey. You've seen me at my worst and been there during my best. We've struggled and enjoyed one another, I honestly couldn't live without you Park Jimin."

"I can't live without you either Min Yoongi :')"

"This party was Jin's idea I feel kind of silly like this" Yoongi laughs nervously, "but I wanted to do this and they helped me for as long as they could but I'm on my own now."

"What are you talking about Yoongi?"

Yoongi gets up and kneels on the ground and reaches into his pocket.

"Park Jimin, will you- will you marry me?" Yoongi opens a box and inside is an inscribed ring that says Mr & Mr Min, a matching pair. Yoongi takes one of the rings and slips it on his own ring finger before taking the other and holding it out to a stunned Jimin. "Is that a no?"

"OMG YOONGI YES!!!" Jimin cries slipping the ring on and jumping onto his fiancé. The group cheers, their parents tear up and Jimin seals the moment with a kiss.

"I love you Jimin."

"I love you too Yoongi."
