Extra: Lunch

"W – well, then, I will be taking my leave!" Lan Xichen said and hastily bowed and uttered an excuse before he went out, almost flying out of the door and the Lotus Pier. His ears are as red as an apple.

Jiang Cheng's brow raised but he didn't say anything as he just watched the figure disappeared into the distance. Then, his gaze inadvertently fell on the floor, particularly behind the seat where Lan Xichen was sitting.

"So... this should be for lunch, huh?" Jiang Cheng muttered after he opened the container that Lan Xichen has forgotten to bring with him when he (LXC) left after becoming flustered by Jiang Cheng.

The food inside was a mess and it was due to a chaos that ensued earlier where Lan Xichen happened to wait.

"I have to apologize to him for that mess, which made this lunch he brought for me ended up a mess." Jiang Cheng said and smiled. "Of course, I also have to thank him." He said and started eating the messed-up food while reading the documents. "It's good!" he said and finished the dishes even though he already had lunch earlier.
