Necklace
04:07, 5 August 2024While Draco took his shower I got dressed then went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair. Then I applied my deodorant and styled my hair in a French braid. (Should I learn how to put on make up? No, that wouldn't look good on me...)
The water turned off and Draco stepped out. "You alright? Is you're headache better?" He wrapped the towel around himself, I nodded. "You've been standing there for a while."
"Yea. I was just thinking." I grabbed my wand and turned to him. "Come here."
Draco smiled, walked up to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "What were you thinking about?"
I dried his hair with my wand. "Nothing." Draco eyed me, I dried his body, I sighed softly. "Every female around my age wears makeup except me."
"You don't need makeup." Draco rested his forehead on mine.
I looked in his eyes. "I know. I'm not one of those girls who needs reassurance on her looks. Just sometimes my mind says things other people have told me and... I know I'm pretty."
Draco pulled me into him more, pushing our fronts together. "One day. I promise that one day everything you had to endure all those years will drown out and I'll fill them with happy thoughts and memories."
Draco's nose brushed mine, I leaned up and kissed him, Draco kissed back and put his hand behind my neck. My hands snaked around him and held onto his back as he lifted me onto the sink.
(Damn him... Damn his handsomeness.. Damn his kindness.. Damn his caring nature.. Damn his love for me. Damn everything, nothing I deserve but I got.)
I broke the kiss to take a breather, Draco brought the kisses to my neck and I felt my sex ache for him. (No. Breakfast.)
"Draco." I bend my neck open as Draco attacked it with soft kisses. "Get dressed. We need to eat."
Draco stopped me rested his forehead in the crook of my neck. "I don't want to leave this room."
I brought my hand to his head and ran my fingers through his hair. "I know. You find it safe in here but you can't stay. I'll be at your side." Draco constricted me in his arms. "It's alright, I'll be next to you always. I'm not going anywhere."
Draco took a deep calming breath and let me go. "I'm fine." He straightened up but I could see internally he was breaking down again.
"Hey." I moved off the counter and wrapped my arms around his waist, Draco looked away to hide his sadness. "I already read your thoughts." I turned his face back and wiped away the single tear that fell down his cheek. "You're strong Draco. You might show it in the form of a git, but you are strong."
Draco smiled slightly. "Thanks."
I smiled. "I always tell the truth, Pureblood."
"I know, Mudblood." He brushed his hand along my cheek. "I need to do this. You know that right? You know I need to."
I nodded. "I know." I moved up and kissed him. "I chose you even through everything. I will always chose you, Draco."
Draco nodded, my belly grumbled. "You should get to breakfast." He let me go.
"No. We should get to breakfast." I patted his chest and walked out the door. "You have to eat as well."(Damn his figure. Fucking hot. Only a prissy Queen Bee would date him yet here I am.)
Draco came to the doorframe and leaned on it. "Solace."
I turned back to him and my eyes traveled over his body until they came back to his slight smile but smug thoughts. {Like what you see?}
I rolled my eyes. "Shut it." I huffed and walked up to my small chest that held a necklace.
Two arms came around me and took over opening the chest and pulling out the necklace. "I can't believe you still wear this." Draco unclasped it and pulled it around my neck.
(It's the best present I've ever gotten because it's from you. And apparently it's rare which means it's expensive. I wouldn't know what to do if I lost it or it got stolen.)
I smiled and moved my wings so he could put it on me. "You still wear the bracelet I gave you."
Draco clasped the necklace on me. "Of course I do." He kissed my neck. "You personally made it for me." He wrapped his arms around me. "No one has ever done that before."
I smiled softly. "I'm glad you like it because I didn't have the money to buy a rare gift." I huffed.
Draco smiled. "I thought you could use it more than the artifacts room."
Dracos mind recalled an old memory in his thoughts of where the necklace came from and what it does and my eyes widened. (This belonged to a original Slytherin student?)
Draco kissed me. "Don't think to much about it. It's just something small."
"Something small? Why would you give this to me? Draco this is a piece of history!" I exclaimed. "Draco. This... Do you understand the value of this?! I can't have this."
I went to take it off but Draco pressed a kiss to my lips while his hands came to my wrists to stop me from taking it off. (This was to expensive and rare. I don't and never deserved something as expensive as this.)
Draco broke the kiss and rested his forehead to mine. "I gave that to you because I wanted you to have it. I'm not taking it back and you aren't giving it back because you deserve everything special this world has to offer."
(Damn his love for me.)I nodded, trying to hold back the tear that wants to escape. "Get dressed so we can go to breakfast."
"Alright." Draco held me as he leaned forward and opened his top drawer to grab his underclothes. "Am I to guess you had no idea the actual value of that necklace." He chuckled slightly.
"I just knew it was rare and rare items tend to be expensive." He stepped away so he could put on his underpants. "Draco. I have no reason to have such a rare and special gift no matter how much you think I deserve it... You also stole it from your father's collection."
"He won't notice and someday it will be mine." Draco moved to the dresser and opened his pants drawer.
(He's already stressed. I need to put away my nerves about the necklace.)"Alright.."
Draco straightened up. "Why don't you go get us a seat?"
"I want to go together." My stomach growled again and I internally wanted to hide somewhere.
Draco smiled leaned in to kiss my forehead. "I've kept you away and breakfast is almost over. Go start and I'll join you."
I nodded. "Alright." I cupped his cheek before he could walk away and kissed his lips. "I'll make sure the food doesn't disappear before you get there."
Draco smiled. "Thank you." He reached behind me and picked up my blindfold. "Turn around."
I smiled and turned around. "Thank you."
Draco covered my eyes with the white blindfold and tied the silk lace ends behind my head. The black world turned bright and the thoughts of people silenced, I turned back to Draco and smiled.
Draco smiled back. "Go on." He kissed my forehead. "I'll be right there."
I nodded. "You better." I ran my finger down his abdomen and walked to the door. "I'll put some pancakes and chocolate on you're plate." I grabbed the doorknob.
"Don't you dare, Solace." Draco scoffed.
I smiled. "Hurry up then." I walked out and shut the door behind me.
I smiled at the fluttery feeling I felt in my chest. (How the hell did I go from a brick wall around me to falling in love with a bigoted snob turned sweet-caring man?)
Once I got out of the Slytherin common room I opened my wings and flew up the stairs to the main floor, down the corridor, and landed in the Great Hall.. Which drew a lot of attention for a second before I walked over to the Slytherin table and sat down.
