Zori: Y'all the beginning a bit boring but promise the middle gets excited, Action is not my strongest point but were trying our best woho.

NuNew

It was around 7:30, and the sky was covered with a blanket full of darkness. I was led to a room backstage. It was small but comfy. There was a light brown couch set in the middle with a glass table in front. There were some snacks set on the table. The room was empty except for all the plants set up around the room.

There was an entrance to the stage set adjacent to the couch.

I was interested in looking around, but all the guards were nerve-wracking, so I decided to sit on the couch and scroll through my phone.

The quietness was soon washed over by muffled chatter as guests began to pile in. I got up and decided to take a slight peek through the stage curtains.

There were many people walking in one by one; they all had expensive suits on; everyone was handsome; the females present wore expensive jewelry adorned around their ears, necks, and hands; everyone was smiling, yet there was an odd tension present.

"Shiaaa, not a single ugly-looking person in here," I mumbled to myself as I adjusted the stage curtains and returned back to the couch.

I began to feel the familiar emotion of anxiety spiking up inside me. I'm usually not this nervous to perform, but I really enjoy it. Music makes my life brighter, but these people all look like important, rich business people. As I was drowning in my own thoughts, a knock tuned me back to reality.

"Come in!" I yelled out.

The door creaked open, and my mouth dropped open. Nat was standing there wearing a gorgeous gray suit, and his hair was neatly combed. " Surprise!" He yelled out nervously, raising his arms mid-air. "Ouii, how come you're here?" I was dumbfounded.

"KxC is invited to the event." He told me, walking over and taking a seat beside me. I looked at him with an O-shaped expression. He laughed at me and asked, "Are you ready to perform in front of my entire company?".

I let out a nervous chuckle and nodded my head. Nat reassured me that there was nothing to worry about. We began chatting about our day, as we always do. Another knock was heard, grabbing our attention.

A stunningly attractive tall young man was standing there. He had a white T-shirt on, a light cream blazer on top, and a white pair of pants. His hair was neatly combed out with slight frizzled bangs. "Sorry, I hope I didn't interrupt anything." He said it softly, followed by a smile.

Nat smiled brightly at him. "Oh, not at all, chay, come in." He gestured at the young man inside, and he wai [Thaiย greeting ]ย to me, and I greeted him back.

"This is my best friend, NuNew Chavarin." Nat introduced me, and I gave him a bright smile.

"Porchay Theerapanyakun," he replied, returning the smile. My eyes widen slightly upon hearing his name. I was not prepared to meet a family member of the organizers. Nat looked at me surpassing a laugh, making him sound like a sputtering old faucet.

Porchay looked at Nat, titling his head in confusion. "What are you laughing about?" he asked. Nat just waved his hand, throwing the question aside.

"Are you the one performing tonight?" Chay asked me

I nodded toward him with a half smile.

"Well, Nat tells me you have an amazing voice, so there is no reason for you to worry about anything," he reassures.

"That's quite hard seeing all those people and their clothing styles," I say jokingly. [Maybe I should have dressed better.]

"Just ignore them and focus on your music. I want to see if you can join my company, KxC."

"Wait, your the CEO," I yell out in surprise, covering my mouth. Chay chuckled quietly.

"The company is run by him and his boyfriend; if Chay wants you in, then the other CEO has no say in it," Nat adds, getting up.

"Well, we gotta head out, Nu. Will you be okay alone?" Nat asks in concern.

"I'll be fine. Go have fun," I reassure him, giving him a thumps up. Nat pats my shoulder, and they both greet me goodbye.

Among the large crowd, there are guards set at every corner of the building, inside and out. Not a single person stands out of the crowd; they are all dressed in luxury clothes. The club is filled with sparkly lights, people chattering, and glasses of rich red wine being distributed throughout the large crowd.

"Boss, we have our men positioned." A guy wearing a typical suit says this through his earpiece.

"Good, be prepared; ย Zee and Hwan will be entering in awhile." Someone replies back.

"Everyone remembers the plan." Another voice asks through the earpiece, earning a yes from about five men.

"It's time to perform," I tell myself, taking a deep breath as I reach for the curtains, sliding them aside, and stepping foot onto the stage.

I'm glad it's a private event; I don't have to put a mask on.

Let the performance begin. I step forward and reach for the black microphone set up front; it fits perfectly around my fingers.

Zee POV

The Pentagon bar was filled with guests from both the Korean and Thai groups. The event we have all been waiting for has finally begun.

I took my entry into the bar with Mr.Hwan and our top guards. It was important that everything go smoothly. Our top priority was to keep the Korean group safe and gain their full trust. We had all our best guards stationed tonight.

I led Mr.Hwan to the glass stools up front; Kim,Kinn,Vegas, Porsche, and Pete joined us there, with a few of my shadow guards being present around us. Even though the event is entirely private and examined by our group, a traitor is always present.

"I hear many good things about Pentagon, Mr. Zee," Mr.Hwan says, grabbing a glass of alcohol from the waiter.

"Thank you," I replied with a smile.

The waiter placed a glass of wine in front of all of us, and we clanked our glasses together before taking a sip. I allowed the bitter-sweet taste to burn down my throat. "I heard you have someone performing some sort of music today." Mr.Hwan asked, looking towards Kimhan. "Yes, we do; the performance should begin soon," Kim says, placing his glass down. At that moment, the lights began to dim, and the attention in the room shifted to the stage that was brightly lit up.

A tall young man stepped out; his skin was porclain smooth and perfect, just like a doll. He had a simple but nice outfit on. I watched him as he stepped out and approached the microphone up front. He exhaled sharply, and a smile formed on his lips.

The music began to play a sweet melancholic tune, and he began singing. His voice was soothing, soft, and gentle.

I feel your love cover ย by NuNew

Throughout the shady light

I see your eyes

Your love reside in me, I feel

Throughout the silence,

we're never be apart

I hear your beating heart

Like symphony in harmony

Hold me , kiss me more and more

just you that I need , not anymore

I feel your love ohohoh

I feel your love ohohoh

A touch of yours fill my heart and soul.

Let's make it last evermore

I feel your love ohohoh

I feel your love ohohoh

As he continued singing, his eyes scanning over the crowd till they met mines.ย

And everything slowed, his gaze something about it made me feel... There was a pull in the pit of my stomach, a flutter of nerves, and I couldn't look away. I was paralyzed, and every inch of my body pin-downed. The only sound I heard was the sound of his familiar voice and the beating of my frantic heart.

He was alive. I felt a smile tugging at my lips.

[I'm not sure why I still remember you, but you always find me, don't you?.]

I snapped out of my trance as claps erupted inside the room. The young man smiled, placed the microphone back onto the holder, and stepped behind the curtains.

"He would be a great addition to your company, Kim," Pete said. Kim replied with a hum, looking around for someone. "If you would excuse me," Kim said, getting up.

"You all can go and enjoy. I would like to discuss a few things with Zee here," Mr.Hwan says after Kim leaves. The others at the table nod and excuse themselves to blend in with the crowd.

"Ah Zee I wanted to hear more about your legal companies set around Thailand," Mr.Hwan asked. I agreed and began to tell him about our race tracks, entertainment company, and a few other legal businesses we are involved with.

NuNew POV

I smile to myself as I step back into the tiny room. The performance went really well, and I'm relieved they dimmed all the lights. "Well, time for me to leave," I say to myself, stretching my arms up. I check the room to make sure I haven't left anything behind.

Stepping outside the room, I shut the door behind me. As I am about to take my first step forward, I feel my phone vibratein my pocket. I take out my phone, noticing Jay's name pop up.

"How did it go?" Jay asks loudly, his voice filled with excitement. I giggle quitely at his behaviour " I am about to go home, " I reply. "Ohhh, call me when you get home," he says, hanging up. I place my phone back in my pocket and decide to take the back exit.

I turn to the side as I'm about to take a step. I feel a hand grabbing my arm. I turn my head to look at the figure behind me. It's a tall, handsome man. He looks like a foreigner. There's a heavy smell of alcohol engulfing him.

"Can I help Khun?" I ask him politely, trying to pull my arm from his grip but he refused to let go , instead he pulls by arm making me stumble forward. " Your a cutie " He says slurring over his words slightly. He wraps an arm around my waist, and I let out a nervous laugh, trying to push the man away. "How much for a night?" he asks, his breath hitting my ears. As the man tries to bring his face closer to mine, someone pulls him back, making the man fall back on his buttocks.

"Know, Mr. Kevin, this isn't very gentlemanly behavior." The man says this, looking down at the guy on the floor. I know this man; he has those fierce tiger-looking eyes.

"KobKunkhrap [thank you]," I say, bowing to the man.

"Oh, don't mention it," he says, kneeling down to grab onto the guy on the floor, who looks like he might puke. "Take a leave, Mr. Kevin," he says, pushing the guy away who stumbles over his steps, holding his weight up by placing his palm on ย the wall.

"You should leav-" Before he can finish his sentence, a loud gunshot erupts.

My body goes rigid.
