Ch 4

When I got home... 

One word... 

Mayhem. 

My parents were running around the house, looking for something. "MOM, DAD what is happening" I shouted to get their attention. 

'You just want attention NO no' I sang in my head before coming to my scenes. 

"We are going to the MAIN household. And we ARE looking good" mom said. "Come on we have to get you cleaned and dressed" my mom led the way to my room where we all proceeded to take 2 hours to get ready. 

When I looked at the time my mind went blank. "Huh" I just stared at the clock. "Ishi what is it? '' My mom said coming over, I didn't say anything, I just pointed. My mom looked over and froze. 

"WHAT 5:50 THE DINNER IS AT 6 SHITT HARU LEGGO" mom screeched before we all ran out of the house. 

It usually takes 20 minutes to get there, but the way we ran. 5 minutes flat. We got there a little out of breath but recovered quickly. We went up to the house and knocked on the door, it seems that they knew we were here because they opened the door after the first knock. 

"Hello, please come in" Mikoto said (itachi and sasuke's mom fyi). "Dinner is almost ready to please take a seat at the table" she guided us to her dining room and went into the kitchen. The dining room was beautiful and very clean. 

There was a table with enough room for 8 people which was good because there were 8 people here. Though two of the spots were taken, by Itachi and little sasuke. 'Oh right he must be like 2 months old now. He's so cute' I awed at the baby. 

I then looked at Itachi. He must be like almost 6 now. We all took a seat and waited, my dad decided to make conversation. "So what your name kiddo" he said to Itachi. "My name is Itachi sir and this is my little brother Sasuke" Itachi politely said "such manners, you are raising a nice young man" mom praises. 

"Thank you, I am very proud. And who is this" Fugaku said. 'It's my queue' I thought "hello my name is Ishi it is nice to meet you mister" I happily spoke. "You as well," he responded. "Dinner's ready" we heard Mikoto from the kitchen. 

"Yesss" I quietly said, as Mikoto came out of the kitchen I was in shock. The food looked beautiful. I think I shed a tear. It was ribs with potatoes and carrots on the side with rice. 

'Oh my god those ribs look so juicy yum' I had stars in my eyes. She sets the food down and. We wait. We. My parents and I have never and I mean never had or been at a dinner party so we don't know what to do. Fugaku and Itachi have not moved so we didn't either. 

"What are you waiting for? '' Fugaku asked "guest pick first". 'Oh thank god' we all thought, "Ishi you go first," my dad said. 'All the attention on me thanks dad' I sarcastically thought. 

I didn't say anything as I just picked some food and said thank you. After that my parents got some food, then the rest at the table. Fugaku got some food and then stood up. 

"Excuse me, I have work to do, '' he said before walking away. I looked at Itachi and looked a little disappointed but knew it was coming. Mikoto sat down at the head of the table so she could have access to both her sons. 

"Thanks for the food" we all said before we dug in. And when I say it was heaven, I mean there were angels dancing, it was delicious. "Oh my this is really good" my dad said, "ya no kidding" my mom praised. 

"Oh no you flatter me" Mikoto said embarrassed. We continued to praise her before it just went into a comfortable conversation. As time passed I started to get bored, because this is what you call grown up talk. 

But then I remembered that Itachi was there. So I looked at him. And I kept looking at him. He noticed my staring and stared back at me. "What's your name? '' Itachi asked "Ishi, you?" I said back. 'Remember no one knows what you know' I reminded myself. "Itachi and this is my little brother Sasuke ''. 

"He's cute, how old" I asked "About 3 months" I hummed in acknowledgment 'I don't have a lot of time before Naruto is born'. I began to finish my food when Itachi decided to be petty. 

"You know you don't have very good manners" 'oh the little shit' "oh I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you" I said as I flicked a piece of rice on his cheek. "My manners are nonexistent because there is no fun, fufu and you're just as bad" I evilly chuckled. Before Itachi could wipe the rice off Mikoto noticed it. 

"Oh Itachi there's a piece of rice on you" she said as she wiped it off. I quietly snorted as she was wiping his face. And he was lightly glaring at me the whole time. Sasuke not knowing what was happening was laughing at Itachi making it harder to hold in my laughter. 

After Mikoto was done she went back to her conversation with my parents. "And why did you do that?" Itachi asked, "I don't know but I don't regret it" I lightly giggled. We were about to finish our little chat when we heard something that made me lose it. 

"The children look to be having fun" my mom said "ya and I think it was cute that little Itachi had a piece of rice on his face" Mikoto said. "I know like Ishi has no manners but she never gets anything on her face at all, it really freaks me out sometimes" my dad said. "Oh my god that's it" I said struggling to hold my laughter in when Itachi's face went up in flames. "Ms Mikoto, where is the bathroom?" I asked. 

"Down the hall and to your left sweetheart" she answered sweetly, "thanks" I said as I ran down the hall and to the left room. I quickly went in and shut the door quickly but quietly. I made it just in time because I lost it I just started laughing and laughing. I was kinda loud but not loud enough for them to hear me. 

After a minute or two I calmed down enough to look around and I realized. 

This. 

Is. 

Not. 

The. 

Bathroom. 

But then I heard a cough and I froze. I slowly turned around and I saw Fugaku sitting in the very office looking room. 'How did I not notice this' I think just looking at him with a I bet this dum look on my face. "Can you tell me why your in here and why you were laughing" Fugaku asked calmly. 

"Brussel sprouts" I blurted out. 

'Shit'. And we just stared 'I think I dumbfounded him' he looked so confused. "Sorry what I mean is I accidentally embarrassed Itachi and I couldn't hold it in" I chuckled. "Oh do tell" he said intrigued. So I explained it to him in great detail may I add, and by the end he was smiling. 

Seems he wants a little drama in his life sometimes. "Alright now go back I have some work to finish" Fugaku said "ok mr Fugaku it was nice talking to you" I said as I bowed and left. 'Well I made an impression not sure a good or bad one. 

Oh well' I went back. When I came back it was like nothing had changed, our parents were still talking and Itachi was sitting with Sasuke. I sit down and decided to torment Itachi more. 

"Hey Itachi your going to be in the academy right?" I asked "yes I am" he replied, I said "do you think you will have good grades". "Yes top of my class" he said. "Do you think you will get in trouble". 

"No" he only said "goody two shoes" I mumbled. "Is there anything interesting" I asked literally impressed how boring this guys life is. "No" he said "it's actually really easy and I've been told I'm a one in every generation type". 

"Oh a goody goody guy who is smart you don't see that everyday" I said as flick a piece of rice on him. "Why do you keep doing that" he asks "I don't know" I said as I do it again. "You are cute you know" I say nonchalantly. And he didn't show anything. 

"Do you get that compliment a lot", "yes" was all he said. "Ok" I said very cheerfully "you are very ugly" I said. Now his reaction. Was a little bit of anger. "I'm joking" I said bluntly. 'I guess he does like the compliments to some extent'. 

Then out of nowhere a piece of rice hit my cheek "heyy" I complained "payback" he said with a that's what you get smile. "Ishi you have rice on your face" mom says surprised, "it's a miracle" dad added in. I quickly wipe the rice off my face before glaring at a smug Itachi. "This means war" I said loud enough so he could hear me. 

"Ishi we are going to go now" my mom said, "Ok bye Itachi hope to see you soon. Bye little sasuke. Bye miss Mikoto" I said, making sure to stick my tongue out at Itachi. We walked home and went to sleep straight away because we were all worn out and I was happy that I met him. 

The little brat. Itachi Uchiha.
