Chapter 9 ~ New Pieces

It was the next day, and Hiccup and Astrid were already flying. "If Drago was here, he should be still on the island. The water is too frozen to go trough with a boat, but the ice isn't thick enough to walk over it, especially with such a er... Big man as Drago." Astrid said, while she inspected the shore. Hiccup laughed a little. "Yeah, he'd probably sink directly. But, he could have been controlling a dragon again. You know, that's who he is. I think. Not just a big man, er... You know what I mean." This time, it was time for Astrid to laugh. Then someone flew towards them. "Hey, Snotlout! How are you today?" Hiccup immediately asked. "I'm fine, wait, no I am not. Look what I found!" Snotlout directed Hookfang to the couple and he showed them something. "What is that?" Astrid asked. "It's a piece of metal, you blind groncle! Gods, nothing's more..." And Snotlout started mumbling in himself.

Hiccup had sent Snotlout back to search when he and Astrid were walking over the beach, together, were Snotlout had found the piece of metal. Hiccup saw the footprints of Snotlout, but some big footprints too. "He had been here this morning, after the storm." Astrid said, looking around. "There is only one way to find him." Hiccup said. "Let's follow the footprints." And they stepped on Toothless and Stormfly. The dragons were growling, mostly Toothless. "I know, bud, You don't like this man, but this has to be done." Hiccup comforted Toothless and they flew low, following the footprints.

The footprints ended on the other side of the mountain. "Why would Drago stay on this island? Why didn't he attacked immediately?" Astrid asked. "I have no idea, but maybe he's after Norèll. She knows him." Hiccup said. They stepped of their dragons, and walked towards the cave where the footprints led to. They were silent, and tried to be unseen by who was inside of the cave.

But it was too late.

I tried to upload yesterday, but my tablet crashed and our computer was used by my little brother. I want to try to upload Friday, but I think the Friday after next Friday will be upload-time...
