First Patrol

DamianToday, father was taking us out for my very first mission...with Marinette as well. So, I became the new Robin and Marinette made up a hero name for herself. Miss Bug. So we went out. We arrived at a rundown amusement park and to the back was a large stadium. I was about to run off when father held me back and gave me some kind of goggles. I looked through them and spotted multiple security cameras. "Fine, you lead."

Marinette and I followed behind father and ended up inside the stadium in a little room through a trapdoor in the floor. He looked around to see when the coast was clear for us to make our move. We left, entering a vent then crawled through. We then made our way into a room with a doctor working on some kind of experiment. He dropped one of the vials on the floor then pleaded.

Batman: Doctor, You have to come with us.

Doc: N-No, I-I..I can't. Death Stroke has my family, if I don't do what he says then he'll kill them.

Batman: Where's Death Stroke?

Doc: I don't know. Please, you have to believe me.

Robin: I'll make him talk!

And with that I grabbed him and threw him across the table, and crashed into the door. Marinette face palmed herself as the guards arrived. They came at us with their swords and so we all defended ourselves. Once we took care of these guys, more came and so father said we had to retreat. He threw a smoke bomb on the floor then we escaped. We ended up outside in the stadium as father said to listen closely.

We then all looked up to see at least a dozen man-bats. A bunch of them went over to father and attacked him to the floor and Marinette as well as one tried to contain me. Father bursted out of their grips and so did I. Marinette then appeared from the grass, transforming into her usual human form. We fought them off as best we could then took off to one of the higher level. They chased us on the other side of the bars.

I then jumped onto one of their backs, stabbing them as they went crashing down. I jumped off right before it made impact. I jumped once again, landing on the scoring board as the man-bats followed and one rammed right into it. Father followed as he swung pushing one into the other side. Marinette flew and kicked two more into the board, floating in midair. The rest flew in surrounding us.

Father flung a birdarang up to the bar that held the stadium roof up. Marinette and I flew while father used his grappling hook to pull himself up. Once we were passed the birdarang he set it off. The man-bats got caught in the explosion just as the roof caved in. We made it out alright and so I took off to find the doctor. I found him, my blade directly pointed at him. But then Marinette came between us.

Bug: Batman said not to kill him.

Robin: Step aside, bug.

Batman: Robin.

"Tt." I mentally cursed while father walked up to us, intervening. I glared at Marinette and at the same time she turned away from me. "Uhh, You're lucky." I sourly spoke to the doctor. "He's than lucky to have not been killed by your hands, Robin. You and I both know that. You're fortunate Batman got here in time." I swear my eyes turned red at her uprising towards me and against me for that matter. She's lucky she's my fiancé or else I would've stroke her down.~~~~~~~~~~

We returned home and so I literally dragged Marinette upstairs to my room.

Damian: What the hell was that!?

Marinette: What are you talking about?

Damian: Don't play innocent! Why didn't you let me kill him!?

Marinette: Because Damian, Batman, your father, said no swords. And you weren't in command nor leading that mission. I may be obligated to you as your wife but that doesn't mean I have to follow your orders. If you told me to jump into a volcano, do you really think I'd do it?

Damian: Tt, don't defy me ever again.

Marinette: Before I leave your presence, I have a question for you as we are on the subject.

Damian: That is?

Marinette: Would you...kill for me?

Damian: Why would you ask that. Of course I'd kill..-

Marinette: But would you do it for me? Think about it..it's really a simple 'yes or no' question. I'm not too lenient as to wait an entire month for an answer. Good night, Dami.

She left closing my bedroom door with a grin on her face. I sat on the bed thinking about the question she asked. 'Would you kill for me?' What kind of question is that? I guess my answer is.... I'm undecided.
