Important information:

This book is loosely canon (most people/places are the same but major events may have been altered or rewritten) with many key differences. This book happens in tandem with the third season of the Bad Batch, but will differ significantly in content, including:

1. Due to the nature of events explored in the first two books, most of the events of the third season will be cut from this fic. The events of this book will be new and original to this story and the Bad Batch universe. While I greatly enjoyed season 3, it wasn't feasible with the way book 2 ended to pick up where the show does!

2. This book takes place ten months after the end of Book 2. To better understand this story, it is recommended to read the first two fics (Bereft and Duress) before this one.

3. The main character, Saedii (pronounced Sadie) is Daethii (pronounced day-thee) - a species created by me for the sake of this story. Daethii people herald from the planet Daeth (pronounced day-th) and are extreme pacifists, who did not support the Jedi for their role in the Clone Wars.

4. This book has been marked mature for language and violence. It is recommended for ages 16+.

5. This book will be darker than the first two. Due to the nature of this fic, please read trigger warnings listed below!

Trigger Warnings

Violence, mental and physical abuse, pyschological torture, non-consentual drug use, psychological trauma, PTSD, panic attacks, mutilation and death, child abuse, blackmail, captivity and confinement, depression
