Detest Vs. Desire

Author's Note: THREE updates this close together? Which probably means there won't be another until the weekend, but hope this one holds you over ;)

Loki's lips are a perfect mix of dominating and soft, and his kiss literally took your breath away. Your mind feels like it's on fast-forward, but it comes to a halt when Loki pulls back.

There's a pause before he speaks, his tongue darting out between his lips, "....right, well...neither of us has woken up yet."

You lean-in closer to Loki once again, "Maybe we need to keep going. You know, just to test it further."

A gleam runs through Loki's eyes, "Purely for 'testing it out'?" Loki leans to your ear, sending a chill down to the tips of your fingers, "Because just so you are aware..."

As Loki speaks, you find yourself being walked backwards, until you feel the wall behind you, causing your eyes to widen.

"I have been struggling to control myself around you, Y/N," Loki practically growls.

The corners of your mouth slightly turn into a smirk, "Huh. And here I thought you positively detested me."

A matching smirk appears on Loki's face, "Oh it did start off that way." His hand slowly moves up your arm to your neck, "However, as of recently, the mentioned 'detest', has turned into desire."

When Loki whispers the last word, your breath once again catches in your throat.

Needless to say, it doesn't go unnoticed by Loki, "And at this moment, I desire you."

You somehow manage to regain your composure enough to match Loki, "Then prove it."

Right before Loki kisses you again, you see what looks like his eyes turning a hint of red.

This time, your lips battle Loki's, moving in tandem. His hand rests behind your head, as you've now become pinned to the wall outside.

Loki lightly bites your bottom lip before moving to your chin, jaw, and then neck, "You have no idea how long I have wanted you just like this." He kisses just below your ear.

Your body arches off of the wall, while you give a tug on Loki's hair, "Well, do continue to make up for lost time." 

"I thoroughly intend on doing just that," Loki's other hand goes around your back, as his entire body becomes flush against yours back against the wall.

You switch to kissing Loki's neck, and your leg wraps around his knee causing it to bend, earning a groan from him. 

His reaction causes you to smile, but continue your assault, but now on the other side. 

Loki's hand rests open against the wall by your shoulder for support, "Y/N...."

Your grin only grows as you get to his ear now, but as you move, Loki's skin is getting colder, "You know, for this current...situation, your skin is quite cold."

Loki instantly stills while you get to his collarbone. 

The window just off to the side behind you shows Loki's reflection back to him, now seeing his skin a light blue in color. 

Loki's lack of movement and response gets your attention, "What is it?" 

Loki blinks a few times, but nothing changes, so he steps back immediately and turns away from you.

You use the wall to catch your own breath, "Loki?" You ask after a few seconds, and hesitantly take a step closer to him.

"You need to go," you barely hear Loki say as he remains facing away.

That stops you from advancing towards Loki any further. You're still a bit flustered over what just happened between you both, but you know you heard Loki correctly, "Yea, that's not happening. I know you're technically a prince, so people usually follow your orders, but that won't fly with me. What's. Wrong?" 

You watch as Loki's fists clench and unclench at his sides, "This is something you would not understand."

"Try me," you fold your arms, trying to keep the anger that's slowly building, down.

Loki stands in a silent frustration, but again, will not face you.

"I'm not new to this, Loki! Tony's my brother; it's not like I haven't seen or heard crazy things before!" So much for holding in some of the anger.

Loki's keeping his composure, as he notices his skin slowly returning to normal, "This...this is beyond your realm, Y/N."

"A lot of things are, and yet I've come to terms with them," you sigh and pause a second. "You know, if you think so little of me, then go back to detesting me instead."

Now Loki turns, "I am trying to protect you!"

"I. Don't. Need. Protecting!" thank God the music inside is so loud. "God, now you sound just like Tony half of the time!"

Loki opens his mouth to respond, but the door opens, "There you two are!" Thor steps outside, and then looks between the pair of you, taking in your facial expressions, "Is...everything alright? Should I come back?"

You and Loki haven't broken eye contact with one another yet, but can see Thor in the corner of your eyes, "No. We're done here." You're the one to look away, followed by walking back inside the tower, slamming the sliding door.
