Magnus and Ashlynn Bane

(Pipers pov)I woke up to Simon shaking me that night and telling me that Clary's having a nightmare, so here I am, sitting on the side of Clary's bed, watching her roll around until she shoots up

"Hey its ok I'm here you're safe" Simon says

"Ya are you alright Clary?" I question before she looks at Simon and says

"Thomas" and then looks at me and says "Jace".

"What" me and Simon say at the same time, then Simon says

"You alright? You still seem kinda... freaked" and Clary starts blinking a lot and looks between me and him

"Simon, Piper" She says

"Hey, I got you" I say trying to calm her down

"You're okay, it must've been one hell of a nightmare" Simon said and she replies with a

"You have no idea" then she continues "I-i was strapped to this piece of furniture and my mom was there. She kept telling this guy to protect me and then he reached his hand into my skull and ripped out my brain" She remembered the first time Magnus took her memories.

"Hello freddie cruger" Simon says and Clary runs a hand through her hair, at the time my hair was up in a messy bun, and I was wearing an oversized grey hoodie and black loose shorts.

"Tell me about it" She says "What are you doing here anyway? Shouldn't you be in the infirmary?" And Simon says

"I just really needed to see you" then I say to lighten up the conconversation

"Then he saw you screaming in your sleep so he did the most logical thing, he woke me up from my sleeping chambers to come and help you" Clary and Simon both glared at my attempt for a joke, then she says to Simon

"I am so sorry, my mistake put you two in so much danger"

"It's alright" he says and she keeps going

"No if those vampires hurt you guys, I couldn't live with myself" "you guys are all I've got left"

"Don't get me wrong, I'm totally great full that your friend got me out of there before those vampires drained me like a gulp, but how well do you know this Jace guy? Do you trust him?" Simon askes

"It's think so" Clary responds almost imeaditly "I mean he saved my life and yours" and Simon says

"True but I was thinking, all of this crazyness starts when you bump into him at pandemonium, you think that's just a coincidence?"

"Honestly I don't know what to think anymore all I know is that I have to get my memories back"

"What if there's some like super valuable secret that you don't want to remember, in those memories" I ask, but Clary snaps at me

"Ya like the fact that your not my sister!" And Simon looks at me but I mouth an I'll explain later,

"I need to know who I am, maybe I saw where my mom hid the cup, and, if I could just remember, I could save her." "I just want to put all of this behind me, but I don't know this world, I don't even know where to start looking, um i-im just lost" and Simon says

"Hey, okay, look, let's start with what we know, okay, we know that dreams are remenece of memories"

"Right " She said

"You saw you're mom in the nightmare, before the guy was reaching into your brain," Simon said

"Ya she called him Magnus, but it's completely random" She said then Simon says

"Magnus Bane?" I looked at him shocked and asked him

"How do you know that name?" And he responded

"I heard it from the vampire you know the insanely hot one, was um Camielle, she was super pissed at this Magnus Bane guy when I told her that someone took Clary's memories" Clary started smiling then said

"Simon, Simon you're amaizing you just gave me my first solid lead"

"I did?" He asked and Clary said

"Yes"

"Awesome wait where are you going" I said

"I have to go tell Jace what I found out about Magnus Bane, what would I do without you" she said then runs off and I hear him say

"Really again", do I decide to go back to sleep.

Izzy woke me up and told me that there's something we need to discuss so I'm sitting on the table between Izzy and Jace when Clary walked up

"Look at who took there time" I say when Clary said

"Well I was trying to stop Simon from leaving" and I almost was about to run outside, but then relized that it's safer for him at his house

"Magnus Bane, he's over 300 years old" Hodge starts as pictures of him start to apear on the screen

"And as you can see, he's not exactly shone away from the pleasures of each century, his tastes are both exquisite and quite exessive" he continued

"He looks like the downworlds David Guetta" Clary says bluntly

"Guettas already a downworlder, vampire, ever see him in the daylight?" Izzy says when Alec says

"Can you two focas, this is not a joke" then Izzy says back

"Someone needs to get slayed" That's when Hodge cut in

"Alec's right, now Magnus is one of the most powerful warlocks I've ever known, he has a deep mistrust for shadowhunters"

"Well then why did he help my mom remove my memories, isn't she a shadowhunter?" Clary questions

"Yes and one of the best, but help might no be the most accurate word,now did Magnus provide a service for Jocelyn, perhaps, but more then likely, your mother paid Magnus handsomely for his magic" Hodge said

"Warlocks usaly require payment before they help anyone with anything" Jace said while sitting down in a chair,

"Word from the clave is that most warlocks have gone into hiding, since valentine began hunting them" Alec says

"Thats true" I pipe up, everyone looked at me confused "I know a warlock, and they've all gone into hiding." Then Hodge says

"Valentine must be searching for the warlock who aided Jocelyn " then his circle rune started burning him

"Hodge your rune" Clary says" are you okay?"when she didn't get an answer she sighed then asked

"So how do we find Magnus?" And Jace says

"We don't, Magnus finds us, we set up a meeting, somewhere protected, lure him out of hiding" and Izzy says

"And I know exactly where we do it" She gets up from her chair and takes the tablet from Hodge then starts scrolling and stops on one

"Downworld rave, nice Izzy" Jace says then Alec says

"Where'd you get that" and Izzy replies

"During my survailence of the downworlders, from what I hear, Magnus like to party"

"He'll never go for it" Alec says "not with valentine trying to kill him"

"Of corse he will, he'll blend in, hide in plain sight"

"I don't know, it seems" Clary says but Issy cut her off

"Trust me, if Magnus is coming out of hiding it'll be to the biggest party of the year" and Hodge adds on

"Never underestimate Magnus ' heatness, or his gread" then he says "come with me" we walk somewhere and draws a rune on the ground and  pulls out a ruby neklace, the one he gave to Camille, I remember Ashlynn telling me about how he gave it to Camille and when she broke his heart, he took it back, then lost it, it alerts the wearer of demons.(Jace's pov)"Is that real?" Izzy askes

"Four carrot unheated ruby, now this necklace has special meaning to Magnus Bane, it was a gift from him to his then lover, Camille Belcourt," Hodge continued

"Wait Camille and Magnus were lovers?" Cary asked

"Warlock gets around " I said to Clary

"Magnus bought it in 1857, for the price of his London townhouse, now the jewel is enchanted by a spell that alerts the wearer to the presence of demons" Hodge said. Izzy held the necklace and said

"It's so beautiful" before Hodge said

"Magnus has longed to reunite with this necklace,offer it to him, he might just take the bait" then I said

"Ill send Magnus a firewall message to arrange the meeting, we have to get to Magnus before valentine does."

"Wait a minute, Jace, kids follow me" Hodge said as he led us back to the screen

"If Magnus doesn't go for it, there's another way to get what you want" then he showed a picture of Magnus with a beautiful blond girl (the picture above) with blue/green eyes

"What Magnus' girlfriend" Alec questioned

"Her name is Ashlynn Bane, Magnus' sister" Hodge says while showing us two more pictures of her

"Cares for her brother deaply, and he cares about her" Hodge says before Piper cuts in

"Offer her a deal, she's garnteed to take it" then Clary says to her sister

"Do you know her or something? Piper oh my god she look a lot like Lily" Piper starts laughing before Hodge continues

"Ashlynn isn't like every other warlock, she's different, and I promess you if Magnus doesn't take the deal, she will" then I say

"Good to know" then I walk off to go contact Magnus.

(Pipers pov)I walked into Izzy's room and asked her if she had anything to wear.

"Ya totally, but give me a second, Jace" She called as he was walking by her room

"What's up Izz?" He says and Izzy askes for him to get Clary for her, Isabelle picked out her dress when Clary walked in

"Jace said you wanted to see me?' Clary asked and Izzy said

"Thats right, what are you wearing to the downworlder party tonight?" And Clary says

"I don't know, I was thinking about wearing this" She says pointing to her green t-shirt and dark grey jeans. I started laughing and Izzy said

"I don't think so" while she was holding back a laugh

"No downworlder would be caught dead wearing that" I point out still laughing

"Plus, it's a party not a poetry slam" Izzy states before picking up a really ugly hot pink dress

"Well I don't have anything to wear so-" Clary said and Izzy responded with

"So you'll have to wear mine" while handing Clary the dress and giggling

"You relize one of these days you're going to have to tell me where and when" Clary says as Izzy picks up a black feather scarf

"Where and when what?" She askes while running the scarf on the back of Clary's neck

"Where you get your spending money and when your letting me go to a store" Clary answered back while looking at the pink dress and throwing it onto Izzy's bed.

"Clary" Izz says as she walks over with a really short black dress

"Ok that dress is way to tight" Clary says by taking one look at it.

"It's strechy" Izzy says while handing her it then saying "put it on"

"Uh fine" Clary sighs in defeat and goes to the changing screen to put the dress on.

"Try these" Izzy says while putting black high heels where Clary was changing,

"I don't know Isabelle I think i'm more of a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl" Clary states before she comes out. The dress shows alot of cleavage and is short on her, but it looks awesome, she stands infront of the mirror and I say

"You look hot" and Izzy says

"You're so lucky to have a flat chest" Clary looks down as Izz says

"I can never wear that without a bra" She giggled when Clary said

"Really?" And Izzy responded with a really. Then Jace walks in

"Someone's looking badass" he states with Thomas beside him totally checking her out, I feel jelousy rising through me but I manage to get rid of it quickly

"Uh thanks" Clary says before Isabelle walks over and says

"She cleans up well" then Jace askes to talk to her outside, they leave then Izz says

"Now you."

I end up wearing red high heals, a black and white dress, and a bunch of red rings including the ring Jocelyn gave me, with a silver, gold and ruby necklace thanks to the lovely Isabelle,

"I have a question for you" Izzy says to me once I finish curling my hair and putting on my makup,

"Shoot" I say, then she takes a deep breath and says

"Would you like to become my parabatai?" And I squeal

"Yes totally" today just got better.

(Ashlynns pov)I finished getting my blue dress and high heels on and start curling my hair, once I finish that I snap my fingers and a purple cloud of my magic apears and my makeup is done perfectly. I walk out to see my brother and Eleos talking, Eleos is trying to talk him out of going again, he's been doing this as soon as we agreed to meet with the shadowhunter named Jace Wayland.

I walk over to hear my brother say

"I was alive when the dead sea was just a lake feeling a little poorly,"

"And I wasnt" I say laughing" Listen I'm going with him, we'll be fine" I reassure him.

"While we value your consule, so much red brick makes me feel like a caged animal." Magnus said

"Is one necklace really worth the risk?" Eleos asked, my brother looked at him then said

"This necklace is" then he says "this discussion is over, I will meet with Clary Fairchild and the Wayland boy" I walk away knowing Magnus will follow me, when he does I stop and turn to him

"What?" He says giving me a confused look

"Oh you know what. Why didn't you tell me we were meeting with Clary?" I ask and he simply said

"I didn't think it was important at the time" then I give him a look and say

"You relize Piper is going to be there right?" And he nods

"Good, no more surprises right?" And he says

"Right."

(Jace's pov)After I finished talking to Clary I grabbed my wepons and walked outside with Clary waiting for Piper, Alec and Isabelle,

"You like Thomas" I say bluntly to her, and she looks shocked

"What? No I mean he's Pipers boyfriend, I mean I don't like him" She says while I laugh because she's not doing a good job at hiding it. Then the three other walked out,

"Let's go" Alec said, then we were off.

"Alec Izzy, you secure the perimeter" I say

"Are you sure this is a good idea? Last time we were here this pace was crawling with vampires" Clary asked

"Relax, all downworlders hang out here, we just came on vampire night" I say calming her down

"Right, and when is this going to sound normal to me?" She askes, I give her a look and say

"I don't know" She rolls her eyes playfully.

FlashbackI was walking around the instatute when Thomas walked up to me."What do you need Thomas?" I ask him and he says "What I need is for you to back off Clary" I look at him surprised and say"what?" He said "You heard me, I see you flirting with her and you're giving her the wrong idea, you're leading her on and you need to back off." "Ok dude calm down I will." I had said and he said" good " then he walked away.End of flashbackAlec walked up with Izzy and said

"All clear" Isabelle grabbed Clary's arm and asked her

"Do you think reds my colour?" Piper, who was in Izzy's other arm chuckled at Clary's answer

"Izz, with a body like yours, everything's your colour" then Izzy said

"Good point, damn, I make this necklace look so good" then Alec said

"Take it off, I'm certin Magnus Bane doesn't want to drool on his ruby when we make the exchange" and Piper says

"Good point"

"You know I wouldn't be so sure, most men like it when I admire their jewels" Izzy says, Piper laughed at that comment, Alec rolled his eyes, I cringed a little before Alec said

"Can you just give it to Jace?" And Izzy laughed

"You're such a buzz kill" she says as she hands it to me. Alec and Izzy went to scout and me and Clary walked on, before they left I told them to blend in but keep there wepons ready. I saw him from afar and walked over calling his name, I had Piper and Clary with me and he was alone. He gets up then says

"Clary Fairchild, you've grown into a beautiful young women, and Piper Greymark, it's wonderful to see you again" then Clary says

"Magnus Bane, so you're the one who stole my memories" then I heard a beautiful voice say

"At your mother's request" then I saw her, the same blond girl from the pictures, she looks even more stunning in person, her dress, her hair, her voice, she's flawless.

"She knew the risk" Ashlynn stated as Magnus put his arm around her.

"Ashlynn Bane, did you help him?" Clary asked and Ashlynn fake gasped

"How could you accuse me of such thing?"She said using sarcasm "jeez i've only known you for thirty seconds and you're already accusing me of such thing!" I laughed at this and Clary glared at me,

"Sorry I didn't have such that plesure, I was only, well Pipers age" Ashlynn states while looking at Piper then smiling, Piper did the same thing

"Ash" Piper said as they hugged

"It's so good to see you again Pipe!" The Beautiful blond said as her brother pulled her back.

"Show me the jewelry shadowhunter" he said to me, I pulled out the necklace and showed it to him, he smiled then tried to grab it, but I pulled it away saying ooh.

"Give Clay back her memories, then you get the jewelry" and he looked unhappy

"I have to confirm its athenticity" he states then Clary said

"What? English please" and Ashlynn spoke up this time

"Little girl, he was speaking english, he needs to make sure it isn't fake, phony. I trust Piper, you two on the other hand, not really" She smirks. I hand it over to him and he turns the necklace around

"Amor versus numquam moritur, true love cannot die. Oh how I missed this jewel" Magnus says, then Clary says

"Now it's your turn to pay up" Magnus looks up from his jewel and says

"I wish I could retreave your memories but I no longer have them" Ashlyn looks at him surprised, like she didn't know that

"What where are they?" Clary asked, Ashlynn looked at him and said

"Ya where are they?" And he said

"I fed them to a memory demon for safe keeping" he says bluntly and I say

"Why the hell would you do that?" I growled

"To protect Clary and the cup, if Valentine ever captured me he could torture Clary's memories out of me just like he tortured Dot." Magnus said

"Torture? Wait is Dot okay?" Clary asked him and he said

"You don't know? Dot is dead" he said

"What? How do you know?" Clary asked the man

"We can't feel her magic anymore" Ashlynn explained

"Valentine killed her because she wouldn't betray your mother" Magnus said

"Oh my god" She said

"Come with us Clary, my lair can offer you protection no shadowhunter could" Magnus said, I scoffed

"No" Clary said " No I'm not going anywhere with you guys" She said, then Ashlynn spoke to Piper

"Piper please come with us?" And Piper nodded before joining them, I was shocked by this

"Don't be a fool, your mother would want you to live" Magnus said to Clary

"Then help me get my memories back from whatever demon you gave them to" Clary told him.

"Valentine is hunting you too" he says to her "and every moment we're outside my lairs protection is a moment vaneltin gets closer to finding us" he makes the portal then holds out his hand and says

"Come with me," he nodds towords Ashlynn who goes through the portal with Piper. Clary looks back at me and I shake my head,

"I won't offer again" he states and Clary says

"No, no I won't hide from my problems, and neither should you" then I hear a voice say look out as an arrow shoots past us and hits someone who was behind Magnus. I take out my seraph blade and Alec walks past me and makes sure the guy is dead.

"Who are you?" Magnus askes, then walks towords the portal,

"Magnus wait" She yells and grabs his arm "you're my only hope"

"Valentine found us" he said "I warned your mother this might happen" he says then dissipears through the portal. Shit we lost Piper again, and Clary's memories.
