Pandemonium

(Pipers pov)I am waiting with Simon at a café to hear if Clary got into the art school and Simon is being just as annoying as ever. He is wearing a dark grey t-shirt and jeans. I have my long brown hair up in a high ponytail, my light green eyes were sparkling and my warm rosy skin was glowing. I am wearing black shorts, short brown hiker boots, a layered royal blue tank and a gold necklace with the symbol for water and inside the symbol a water drop in blue.

"So what if she doesn't make it" Simon questions

"Simon why do you even doubt Clary, I mean you still like - like her, right?" I ask.

"Um well that's kind of getting personal don't you think Pipes!" he yells and I chuckle

"Oh Simon, Simon, Simon let's gets some things straight. First off never call me Pipes again and I don't think anything's getting personal Simon. I mean, it's pretty obvious." Simon was about to say something then Clary walks in with a fake sad face, how can I tell, well I mean I am her sister, even though I'm 2 years older then her.

"Tell me the teachers names and I'll make them pay for not accepting you" Simon said, Clary raised her eyebrows

"Simon you'd never be able to beat them up, sorry to say." I say to him

"No I mean a steaming letter to the bone." he replies

"Simon what does that even mean?" I ask and Clary chuckles. Then she pulled out the acceptance letter

"Sad face joke, well played, well played." Simon tells her and they fist bump,

"Hey Pipes I knew you knew the whole time." Clary tells me and I laugh. Simon looked at us confused and questions

"What so Clary over here can call you Pipes but I can't?" And I said

"Thats how it goes" A waiter came by and gave us all laté's and biscotti's, I was drinking my laté while Simon and Clary were rambling on about the graphic novel they're writing. All of the sudden Clary made a funny face

"That's a laté" Simon smirks

"But I could have sworn I had a biscotti" Clary said confused. Oh no, it's still their, she's entering the shadow world, the protections wearing off.

"Well then I'll replace your imaginary biscotti with an actual one" I need to get out of this place, but I can't do anything so I guess I'm stuck here.

"Mom we're home!" I yell, technical I stay in Luke's apartment so I can train out in the open, and Luke told me something I would never believe. I see Clary walk over to Dot and asks her

"So what did the tarot cards tell you today" and Dot replies

"The tarot cards tell me you me it into the academy!" And I chuckle

"And by the tarot cards you mean Simons twitter account" and I held up my phone showing Simons tweet.

"OK I follow him, turns out predicting the future is very difficult" and I laugh "Oh I almost forgot, happy birthday!" She pulled out a bag and pulled out a black lace top.

"Oh my gosh dot it's beautiful!" And Dot said

"Ya can you just keep it on the DL because my mom's your boss and I don't want her to flip out" I leave Clary and Dot talking and go to find our mom.

"Mom there you are I need to talk to you" I say and my mom said

"Sure what do you need sweetie, oh and I want to tell you, do you want to go to an instatute with a bunch of other shadowhunters?" I don't have time for this

"Mom we've got a bigger problem, Clary's protection is wearing off!" I yelled she looked at me shocked. She yelled

"What! That's not possible your not going anywhere Piper you need to guard Clary you hear me!" And I nodded slowly.

"I also need to ask you about something about Luke told me" and she nodded

"Umm, was I adopted?" And she stopped what she was doing and turned to me and looked at me with sorrow.

"Who told you" she asked not even denying it,

"Luke, so its true? Luke said that he was my actull dad and that my mom didnt want me so she gave me up and you took me in" and she slowly nodded, then Clary walked in and mom gave me a look saying don't mention anything then said "You did it I'm so proud of you!" And Clary said

"You also follow Simon" Mom replied

"He only has 92 followers he needs the retweets" and they hugged. Then mom pulled out a box and said "happy birthday." Clary opened the box and pulled out a stele, wow hers is white, I thought they could only be black knowing that's what color mine is.

"What is this, a pen or something" I had to bite my tongue to not laugh,

"No its very old, think of it as an heirloom" and I laughed

"C'mon Clary let's get ready for tonight" and she nodded "after you" and she walked up the stairs.

"Jocelyn do I have to go" I complained and she said sternly to me

"Yes I can't take any risks, you need to go with her and don't call me by my first name, call me mom, I'm still the one who raised you" and I mumble

"Fine" and I stomped up the stairs to get ready.

I came out with my hair down, and some feather earings in.

This is the dress she is wearing with a belt underneath that's holding her seraph blade and her stele and black high heels.

"Clary are you ready to go?" Clary came out in her new top, a green sweater and jeans.

"Wow, Pipes you look amazing I thought we were not going fancy" Clary said, I wanted to tell her it was to hide my shadowhunter wepon but I couldn't so I improvised

"Well I decided I should look good for my little sisters 18th birthday." And Clary made an aww, we walked downstairs and before my 'mom' could say anything I said "Don't say anything about the dress" and she nodded. Luke walked in and said

"Wow Piper you look beautiful" and I said

"Please don't talk about it" and he handed Clary a box of spray cans, and we cheered then Luke said

"If I find any of that paint on city walls I wil arrest you two" and I laughed

"We are just using the paint for Simons van" and Mom nodded

"Are you sure you don't want to stay home tonight?" And I said

"Mom it's her 18th birthday, she needs to have some adult fun" I had to bite my tongue so I didn't laugh, I mean I have a really dirty mind. I heard a knock at the door and Simon walked in, he looked at me and was about to say something then I glared at him so he closed his mouth, getting the idea that he should keep his mouth shut.

"Let's go Simon" Clary yells as she jumped on his back, oh great, I'm going to have a super fun time hanging around a bunch of loosers, and we left....

We were sitting on Simons van and Simon was going on about a mother defending her young.

"Why don't we just get to spray painting this thing" I said and they all cheered.

"Before we were Champagne Enema, now, we're rock solid pamda" Simon said

"Ya we are" Mareen cheered, I grabbed a couple of spray cans and shook them, Clary did the same.

Once we were done with it Simon asked about a certin tag but only i knew it was a rune, i was right, i turn to see Clary run into a guy

"Hey can you watch where your going?" And the blond looked at her confused

"You can see me?" The blond asked and I mumble

"Uhhh are you kidding me, this is what I get for agreeing to babysit" and I don't relize that Clary's still talking to the blond

"Uhh Clary let's leave this boy alone" and someone called

"Jace" he turned and ran off, we turn to Simon and he says

"Who were you talking to Clary and Pipes....I mean Piper" and I laughed

"Oh Simon, you see before we came we had a drink, it probably effected us isn't that right Clary" I said hoping she'd get the idea to drop it and agree with me

"But... your lying I'm going to find the guy" Clary said Uhh now I have to go after her.

"Clary! Come back!" I yelled,

"This is what I get for babysitting" i mumble. I went into the club and saw Magnus, he walked up and said

"Aww hello Piper, it's great to see you again, the last time I saw you, well you were 15 is that correct?"and I replied

"Yes it is listen I have to go right now no time for talking bye" and I ran. I saw Clary flirting with a guy to get behind the curtins and I chased after her, as soon as I got there, she pushed a demon who looked like a women who was about to be killed out of the way so the shadowhunters couldn't kill it, it released its true form and the blond pushed Clary out of the way, I ran to her side and Clary yelled

"PIPER, BEHIND YOU!" I grabbed my seraph blade and kill the demon

"This is what I get for babysitting Clary and loosing her" I mumbled to myself, Clary stood there in awe and I yelled "Clary we have to go!" She nods and I turn around to see the blond without his blade and a demon on top of him. I throw him my blade and he kills it and finishes the last ones off, he hands it back to me and Clary runs off, before the raven haired boy and girl or the blond could thank me I ran after Clary. I heard Simon call her name and I run to her and she got in a cab and I quickly made it in.

"Clary are you ok?" I asked worried about her

"I... you.... them..... you killed someone PIPER!" She yelled

"Keep your voice down, we're going home NOW" I said in a yelling whisper.

Clary kept on telling mom about the night and she wouldn't stop mentioning, first the blond, and the fact that I killed a demon

"Mom show her" I said, I got tired of hearing Clary's voice, her mouth was open from the shock,

"Everything you saw tonight has an explenation, and Piper has known the whole time and after I told her, I regretted having this moment with you for my whole life" Mom explained, I looked out the window and saw circle members

"Uh mom maybe we should have this discussion later" I started and Dot ran in

"Jocelyn, they found you, magnus called to warn you" She stated and mom started running around grabbing stuff

"Listen girls you can't be near me, I have a very powerful person angry, here" and she gave me a ring and Clary a necklace with portal shards in it.

"Mom shouldn't we call the police?" Clary asked and mom said

"The police when you need to call is Luke and your sister, think of me when you where this" and Clary started freaking out

"Mom this is not the time for birthday gifts what the hell is happening" and I mumbled

"There not birthday gifts Clary you idiot" then without warning she pushed us through the portal for made. We had appeared at the police station and found out that Luke well i mean my dad never cared about us, and Clary wouldn't belive it was fake, we got to the house to see it burned. We ran inside, I pulled out my seraph blade and Clary found an axe. I was looking through the rubige and heard Clary talking to someone. I ran to see a shape shifting demon attack Clary, it scratched her face and I quickly through a rock at it so it would forget about Clary. The blond boy from the Pandemonium was helping Clary and I killed the demon, he picked he up and I said

"Woah woah woah where are you going with Clary?" And he said

"Do you want her to die!?!" And I said

"Well thin I'm coming to " the blond said

"Fine by me, let's go" and I asked

"What's your name" and he said

"Jace" and we left.

Sry this chapter is boring but it will get better belive me.
