YIM

"Yim! Open the door! Yim! "

That's the noice with a loud knock outside I heard as I hang my towel on the rack. I walk towards the door and open it. Two guys are outside and the irritated one is about to knock my door again as if he will going to break it in any moment.

"What took you so long to open the door?" New said, who walked directly inside as if he owned my room.

My looks followed his movements as he sat on my bed, looks in his bad mood.

"Is it about P'Zee again?" I whispered to Nat and he just pat my shoulder and nod.

I shook my head and close the door. And I continue fixing myself. It's still early before our first class and my room is just next to the university so they always hang around here if we still have time.

New and I are in the same Engineering course while Nat is in Faculty of Economics. But we still have some same classes so we still hang out and go to school together.

I was busy fixing my hair when New started to say everything he kept inside him.

"I don't understand him. He always saying never let people see me flirting around cause we are love team it will ruin our image but he himself seen in a movie date with someone. This isn't right, why I can't do that when he can. I really wanna kill him. "

New said as he crumbled my pillow. If my pillow is alive, it will be murdered in any minute.

"Are you mad cause you can't flirt around or you are just jealous? " Nat start teasing New.

"Me? Jealous? Haha nice joke Nat. Of course not! Why am I? " New denied.

"Yeah? Nat, New probably is just irritated with his cp dating other people. There's nothing more with that. Maybe he just want someone to date him too. Or maybe he just want P'Zee date him instead for real." I said sarcastically.

Nat and I laughed and look at him with a teasing look. New gave death glares to the both of us back and forth.

"Are you two really my friends? " New said, mad mad.

"Of course, that's why we know you're jealous." Nat teased.

"Nat! I told you I'm not!" New said in his not so loud voice to defend himself.

"Fine, fine. Calm down. We are just teasing you. Okay. Calm down." I said as I hold him and let him sit back.

"Why not just date someone who will asked you? You got a lot of fans, it's impossible no one wants to date you." I said.

"That's the problem. Hia always block every person who trying to flirt with me in my social media accounts. And you know, people assumed we are dating. So who'll dare to when we are acting like a real couple on and kinda off cam." New said.

"Wait! He knows your accounts? We talk about him most of the time right? Did he saw it?"

Nat asked that made me also remember it.

"No, he didn't. He just borrowing my phone to check it. And also He knows you two. He knows that you are my best friends so he didn't dare to look at what we are talking to. Cause he thinks it is our comfort zone, so he didn't dare to look at it." New explained.

"Atleast he knows what privacy means, sort of." I said.

We just laughed and talk about some random things and few moment decided to leave and go to our classes.

We are together at first class but Nat have his second class in different subject which is not the same as what we have, so we part ways and New and I directly go to our next class.

Morning class is already over and we are here at cafeteria. Nat has early lunch time, so we can't eat together. I and New are here and he still ranting about his problem with his on-screen partner.

New is an actor, actually he just wants to do some kind of photoshoots back when we are highschool but two years ago is his break and he get a few invitation for a commercials before having his break into acting and he become now a well known actor with his on-screen partner P'Zee.

I'm just listening to him while eating when his phone rings and he answered it right away.

"Hello, P'Tom. In university, why? Yes, it's my break time. I don't have. Maybe just hanging out in my friends place. Why? Oh. Okay okay. I'm coming. Thank you P'Tommy. Bye."

I look at him as he ended the call. And he look at me with his pity look.

"It's fine. You can go." I said

"How about you?" He asked.

"Don't worry about me. I'll just go to library. I still need to assist the librarian. I can go home too when I'm done. " I said.

"Fine, I'll just call you if we're already done. I just need to meet P'Zee with some sponsors. You know, for promotions. I'll call you later and Nat. I'm off now. Bye."

New said as he stand and grab his things before leaving. I just wave good bye to him and continue eating.

After eating I go to library and start doing tasks that I usually do as a library student assistant. I'm about to finish when one professor called me.

"Yim, can you help me get the books from 201 classroom? I forgot the other books there."

"Okay Miss, I'll go get it then. " I said and start to go to that room.

Luckily the room is open and no one is having class inside so I just go inside and take the books that left in the table. It's more than what I expect so it's quite heavy but I still can carry it.

I'm walking slowly and just peaking a look infront cause the books are blocking my sight. But an accident is always happening and I bumped into someone that made the both of us fall on the ground.

I thought my head will hit the ground but I'm curious why I don't feel any pain in my head, so I open my eyes. Only for me to see my head is leaning to someone's arm, the guy who bumped into me.

He is still closing his eyes and saw few books hit his head and body. But I know his arms are more painful. He open his eyes and look at me.

"Are you okay? " He asked and slowly help me to stand.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Your arms, is it okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, sort of. But it's fine."

I take a deep breath and about to thank him when he speak again.

"Next time look on what you are walking to, so you can avoid accidents like this. You are causing trouble to people who passes you."

The guy said that made my ears turned red and heat.

"Wha- Excuse me?" I asked kinda confused.

"I said look on your way while walking so you will not gonna cause any trouble for other people. Such a waste of time." He said.

"huh? Wait- What did you just say? " I said with a little irritated in my voice.

"Are you deaf? Or you just can't understand some basic words. Do you want me to put gesture for you to understand your clumsiness." He said in his moderate tone.

And that immediately reach my rage point. This crazy guy really getting into my nerves.

"Me? Wasn't it your fault that's why you bumped into me? If you're looking on your way you will see me coming carrying a tower of books, you wouldn't bumped with me. Or you are just blind so you didn't see me coming? Aren't you?" I said.

I can see it hit his ego and clenching his fist that any moment will punch me or what. He step forward and face me, as if It will scare me.

His fist is about to move when a guy in his back hold it and pulled him away.

"Tor, are you crazy? Do you really wanna start a fight here inside the campus and get expelled? Use your head bro."

The guy in his white skin and not so dark brown hair said. And seemed the guy he just called 'Tor' realize it.

"Yeah, use your head and look on your way. Bro!" I said sarcastically as I start picking up the books on the ground.

He is about to move towards me again but the guy beside him stopped him and start to walk towards me to help me pick up the books.

When all the books are picked up, the guy who helped me look at me and smile. I smiled back to him.

"Thank you." I said.

"No, it's fine. We should have to apologize for what happened." He said.

"You don't have to, that guy should." I said as I point my lips on the guy who bumped into me while looking at his way.

"What are you doing!? Do you want me to punch your lips? " The crazy guy said.

"Come here, I'll punch yours instead." I fight back.

He is about to walk towards me when his friend speak.

"Why not just kissed each other until both of your lips swollen? Sounds good? "

We surprised with what he just said. And the crazy guy stepped back.

"James, stop saying nonsense. You giving me goosebumps."

"Stop acting like a child Tor. You are causing a scene here." The guy named James said, then he continue.

"Anyway, I'm sorry for what happened and about my best friend's rude behavior. Let me help you carrying this books." He said.

"No, it's fine. I'm afraid someone who don't look on their way will bumped into you again and blame you for their blindness."

He said and it sounds sarcastic while looking at his friend. The guy have nothing to say but to roll his eyes and look away.

"No, it's really fine. Library is just near. I can manage it." I said.

"No, I insist. Let me help you." He insist and I didn't get a chance to stop him cause he start to take some books on me and walk ahead of to the Library.

I just follow him and the crazy guy doesn't have any choice but to follow us. After few walks we reached library and place the books on a vacant table.

"Do you work here?" James asked.

"Yeah, as an student assistant." I answered.

He nods and look around.

"That's why I always saw you here." James said again. I look at him surprised like he knows me already.

"Your name is Yim, right? I'm James. I used to go here every vacant hour or when Tutor wants to sleep. I always see you fixing books. Do you want me to help you returning this? " He said.

"No need to. It's my duty and I'm already thankful you helped me carrying it here. Thank you again. James." I said and smile.

"James, you heard him. He don't need your help. Let's go, we will be late on class. We already wasted time here." This rude guy said.

"It's your fault don't blame me. Anyway, We will go now. We still have classes to attend to. See you next time, I guess."

He said and I just nod and wave good bye. And start returning the books on the shelves. I'm still thinking how come that two guys who clearly have different behavior become friends. I can say Nunew can be rude sometimes but he never act like that if he's the one who did wrong and he never acted rude to anyone he just met but his co-actor, P'Zee.

After a long day, I went back to my dorm and posted my photo taken in the library first before go wash myself and lay down on my bed then open my phone again when I heard notifications.

I opened our group chat to see what's going on.

MuskeONE[Nat]: Yim! Help me! A demon summoned New's body! 😭

The Idol[New]: Wtf!? Nat!!! I thought you are my friend😾

MuskeTWO[Yim]: What the hell is going on with you two?

Nat: He eventually called me earlier to pick him up at their company building.

Yim: And?

Nat: He commanded me to go there ASAP!

Yim: Yeah? And what's wrong with that? You used to pick us up right? If we don't drive.

Nat: EXACTLY! I DIDN'T SIGN TO THIS FOR YOU GUYS TO MAKE ME YOUR DRIVER!!

New: You can tell him the story without using capslock messages Nat! You looks like at the tip of your rage. Calm down.

Nat: YOU TELL ME TO CALM DOWN BUT WHEN YOU CALLED ME EARLIER YOU WERE SCREAMING LIKE WE ARE NOT IN THE PHONE AND THE SPEAKER IS TOO FAR FROM MY EARS! I'M ALMOST BECOME DEAF! IDIOT!

New: Hehe 😅 I'm sorry. I'm just not in the mood that time. Now I'm fine so calm down.

Yim: It's really rare to see Nat using capslock, I can feel his anger right here. 😂

Nat: YIM!!! 😡

Yim: I'm just kidding. So what's up with the screaming Nunu?

New: It's about Hia. I'll tell you when we get there.

Yim: wait? What? Get here? YOU TWO WILL COME AGAIN HERE?

Nat: Like you have a choice.

Yim: 😪

New: Yeah, and where the hell are you Nat now?

Nat: I'm already there, calm down your ass. I'm not your driver!

New: Yeah but you are my lovely best friend so, I'll patiently wait for you☺️

Yim: Whatever. I'll just left the door open. Just come in when you two get here, if ever i fall asleep already before you two came.

New: Okay, okay. You can rest now. We're together now. See you.

Yim: Okay, safe drive.

----

I close the group chat after that conversation with my friends and open my brother's message.

[Annoying Brother dm]

Jimmy: Yimmy Yimmy Yimmy!!!

Yim: What is it P'Jimmy?

Jimmy: I just want to check on you. You didn't answer my call last time.

Yim: Sorry, I'm at the class that time. Didn't got a chance to open my phone. And I'm fine P'Jim you don't have to worry.

Jimmy: Good to know. Just tell me if you need anything. Semester is about to end right? Are you coming home?

Yim: Yeah. And you?

Jimmy: I'll go home too. Mom didn't stop bothering me to go home with you.

Yim: Maybe she just missed us already.

Jimmy: Yeah, like wise. Anyway, I have to go. I still need to do some works. You go take a rest na okay? It's already midnight. I just check if you're doing fine. Goodnight

Yim: Yes Phi, take care too. Good night.

----

I close the messaging app as soon as I'm done talking to my brother and friends. Then looked at the remaining notifications and smile a bit with the comment left and the person I just know earlier who followed me and I followed back before locking my phone and place it beside me.
