"Psychos"😱

Sisters Courtney and Megan couldn't catch a break. Their mother just couldn't stay clean and sober. Her love for drugs and alcohol was unfortunately greater than her love for her daughters. As for their fathers, well, it was unclear who sixteen year old Courtney's father was in the first place. And as for seventeen year old Megan, her father just couldn't seem to stay consistent in her life. He was the typical deadbeat father that made promises that he never failed to break every time....

Due to all of this, both girls have dealt with depression throughout their lives. Even Courtney had been dealing with suicidal thoughts. But no one knew that. Not even Megan. Which is odd because the two sisters have always been very close. Courtney just didn't feel like sharing her secret thoughts of unaliving herself.

Megan on the other hand dealt with her depression by sneaking into her mother's alcohol every now and then. One day her mother found out about it. Megan thought she would be in trouble for sure. But instead of a lecture or a beating, her mother simply said, "If you want some of my shit just ask! I was around your age when I started drinking anyway. It's not a big deal."

So, Megan began drinking... A LOT! She had an after school job so she started buying her own drinks. The liquor stores in the hood don't check IDs. Megan looks grown so they assumed she was an adult and sold her liquor!

One day, Megan showed up to school drunk. She was sent to Principal Angela Bassett's office...

"Girl, I can't believe this! Not MY Megan who usually  gets good grades and has perfect attendance! What's going on here?!", she asked in a disappointed manner.

Megan began to tear up. "I just....need it to relax and take my mind of what my momma keeps doing."

"What is she doing, Megan?", Principal Bassett asked with a concerned look on her face.

"I can't say....", Megan mumbled.

"Megan....either way, I'm going to have to call your mother. She needs to come up here so I can discuss this issue with her", Principal Bassett replied.

"She won't be available....She's probably still sleep around this time. Plus she spent the night at her boyfriend's house. She stays over there a lot now", Megan replied.

"Where does she work, Megan?", Principal Bassett asked.

"Nowhere right now because she got fired from her last job. But she said she will start looking for another one next week. That's why I got a job so I can have food for me and Courtney and help pay rent. So we won't get evicted again", Megan explained.

"Megan....this doesn't sound good. I may have to call CPS..."

And that's exactly what Principal Bassett did. After CPS found out Megan's mother was a drug addict, an alcoholic and also had been arrested in the past for stealing, they had no other choice but to remove the girls from their chaotic home. Their grandmother used to help raise them because she knew her daughter had a problem. But after she died, Courtney and Megan had no one but their mother. And clearly they really didn't have her!

"Where are you taking us?", Courtney asked the social worker as he drove them to where they would be living.

"To a group home for girls on Cambridge Street. It's a decent place ran by this lesbian married couple. But be careful because most of the girls here have behavioral and mental problems. I had no choice but to bring y'all here because regular foster homes had no space", he explained.

The two sisters looked at each other in a terrified manner. They didn't know what to expect...

"This is it. Come on, young ladies", the social worker said.

He rang the doorbell and one of the girls in the group home named Beyoncé answered.

"What's up, Mr. Carter! You got some fresh meat for us again?!", she asked.

"Hello, Beyoncé. You been behaving yourself?", he asked.

"I try, but these hoes keep testing me around here, bro!", she replied.

Meanwhile, Courtney and Megan were trying to figure out what she meant by fresh meat!

"Can you get Ms. Taraji and Ms. Fantasia for me, please? So I can introduce them to these young ladies", Mr. Carter asked.

"Yo! Momma Tasia and Momma Taraji! We got fresh meat in the houuuuuuse!", she exclaimed.

"What is she talking about?", Courtney whispered to her big sister.

"I don't know but just stay close to me in this bitch", Megan said.

"Beyoncé, cut it out! Hi, Mr. Carter. Who do we have here?", Taraji asked with a friendly smile. Her wife, Fantasia, came to the door as well.

"Ladies, this is Megan and Courtney."

"Hey, young ladies! We want y'all to know this is a safe place and my wife and I are happy to have y'all here", Fantasia said in a friendly yet motherly tone.

"Thank you...", they replied in unison.

Then out of nowhere the sound of girls arguing was heard....

"Oh, Lord! What now?!", Taraji exclaimed as she and Fantasia ran to the recreational room where the teenage girls who live there were.

"You touched one of my girls on her ass! You know I don't play that bullshit, Rihanna!", Beyoncé exclaimed.

She was upset because one of her girlfriends, yes she has two, claimed Rihanna slapped her on the ass.

"Bey, calm your ass the fuck down! Kelly dared me so I did it!", Rihanna confessed.

"You and Kelly about to get fucked up! I told y'all bitches about trying shit with my girls! Onika and Michelle belong to me! Not none of you other hoes!", Beyoncé yelled.

"BEYONCÉ!! Chill out! First of all Rihanna you know touching people without their consent will get you put out of here! So if you do it again be ready to pack your bags! And Beyoncé, fighting will also get you put out of here! Y'all both been here the longest so stop acting brand new!", Taraji fussed.

"Now if y'all are done acting like untrained dogs, I would like to introduce two new young ladies that will be staying with us. This is Megan and this is Courtney", Fantasia said to the other girls in the house. The other girls remained silent....

"Y'all can say hi to them!  Don't be rude!", Fantasia exclaimed.

Beyoncé, Rihanna, Onika, Michelle, and Kelly all said hello and introduced themselves. The only girls who didn't introduce themselves was seventeen year old Normani and sixteen year old Renee. All the teenage girls in the house had issues. But Normani and Renee were 'psycho'! According to the other girls anyway....

"Renee and Normani, I didn't hear y'all say anything to Courtney and Megan", Fantasia said.

Renee didn't even look up at Fantasia or Courtney and Megan. She was busy drawing a horrific picture in her sketchbook of an angry little girl with a knife and babydoll in her hand....

As for Normani she had her earbuds in. She was blasting toxic R&B songs, emo rap, and heavy metal rock music that Renee introduced her to. It helps her to tune everyone out. She hates people....

"Momma Tasia, you know they won't talk. Just let those two psychos stay over there", Kelly said boldly.

"You need to watch your fucking mouth!", Renee yelled with rage in her voice and eyes . Her hands trembled as she tried not to jump up and strangle Kelly to death.

"STOP IT! OK, everybody just go to your rooms and you'll be called down when dinner is ready", Taraji commanded.

"Can the new girls sleep with me?!", Kelly asked with a smirk on her face. Causing the other girls to laugh. All except Normani and Renee of course.

"Naw, they gotta sleep with me!", Rhianna exclaimed.

Fantasia rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Calm y'all thirsty behinds down, please! Courtney and Megan, everyone sleeps three to a room here. There's an empty bed in Kelly and Rihanna's room and an empty bed in Normani and Renee's room."

"Oh my God! One of y'all better sleep on the floor in our room!", Onika exclaimed.

She suggested that because the last person that roomed with Normani and Renee got jumped by them. They claimed the young lady tried to sexually assault Renee. Taraji and Fantasia believed them and had the young lady removed from the house. But the other teenage girls think Normani and Renee made it all up and just attacked the girl because they're "psycho".

"Can I just go to whatever room my sister will be in?", Courtney asked timidly.

"The only way that would work is if somebody else is willing to bunk with Renee and Normani", Taraji explained.

"Ain't nobody with common sense about to do that though!", Michelle stated.

"My sister can just sleep in the same bed as me", Megan suggested.

"Girl, these beds are small as fuck!", Rihanna exclaimed.

"Rihanna, watch your mouth! Look, Megan and Courtney, y'all will be safe in whatever room you choose to sleep in. Don't let the gossip around here scare you", Fantasia said.

"Courtney, go to Rihanna and Kelly's room. I'll go ahead and room with the two nobody else wants to room with", Megan said.

She figured since she knew how to fight, it was best that she stay in the room with the so -called psychos. Her little sister never fought because she always fought for her.

"Are you sure?", Courtney asked Megan.

"Yeah....it's cool....but if those two try to feel on your ass or some shit like that let me know...."

"Your sister better be careful sharing a room with those two nutcases!", Kelly said to Courtney once they entered their bedroom.

"Are they really that bad?", Courtney asked.

"Girl, yes! The white girl Renee....She tried to kill her stepmother. That's why she's here", Rihanna said.

"Yup! With her daddy's gun. White people shit", Kelly added. 

"They....they don't have guns around here do they?", Courtney asked nervously.

"Nope! And Momma Tasia and Momma Taraji keep the knives locked up", Rihanna assured her.

"Oh...well Meg should be ok then", Courtney said.

"Well, the story about Normani is, that crazy devil strangled this girl at her school and the girl almost died! She would have died if a teacher wouldn't have entered the restroom and pulled Normani off of her", Rihanna said.

"And don't forget about how she ended up here because she threw hot boiling water on this boy at her last foster home", Kelly said.

"You don't think either of them would do something to my sister, do you?", Courtney asked.

"Man, just tell her to stay far away from them as possible and sleep with one eye open!", Rihanna advised.

"So what you and your sister do to get in here?", Beyoncé asked Megan.

Megan dropped her stuff off into her assigned room and rushed the hell out of there! That's when Beyoncé told Megan to come talk to her and her little girlfriends, Onika and Michelle.

"One of my teachers smelled alcohol on my breath. Long story short, the principal called CPS because my momma is a unfit parent and always has been. So they brought us here", Megan explained.

"That's it?! Shit, y'all probably the best girls here!", Michelle said.

"For real! Everybody else is here because we're either bad as fuck, crazy as fuck, or BOTH! And I'll admit that I'm both", Onika, who has bipolar disorder, admitted.

"Well I'm just bad as fuck. I got kicked out of all Houston high schools in my freshman year. So that's why I'm here. Plus, I was living with my grandma but she said she couldn't do nothing else for me", Beyoncé said.

"What happened to your parents?", Megan asked.

"My grandma said my momma had me, left me with her and ran off with her babydaddy. Neither one of them wanted to raise me so they ran away like some cowards", Beyoncé stated.

"That's fucked up...", was Megan's response.

Then Michelle explained why she was there....

"I got caught selling drugs on school property. I also used to sell at my daddy's church", she said.

"Your daddy's church?!", Courtney asked.

"Church folks like to get high too!", Michelle stated with a shrug of her shoulders. "The judge said it was either juvi or here for me. So I chose here."

"What about the girls my sister is rooming with?", Megan asked.

"Rihanna was pretty much doing the same type of shit Michelle was doing and Kelly kept getting in trouble in every foster home she was in. But she knows Momma Taraji and Momma Tasia don't play that bullshit", Onika replied.

"Look, the only people y'all need to worry about is Normani and Renee! Those are the only two people in this house that actually tried to kill people before....Stay far away from them!", Beyoncé warned.
