chapter 26

***Draco's POV***

I finish telling the story and they all look scared but relieved that he's ok

They all have that look like they have unanswered questions but don't know what to ask

I look at all of them and muster up the fakest smile I can and slap my hands and say "any questions"

They all look at me with stunned expressions

Hermione pipes up and says "Why are you so calm your boyfriend almost died by the hands of your father"

I look at her with a look of distaste and say "Because he's ok and sleeping in the other room, so any other non dumbass questions?"

She crossed her arms and scowls at me then turns away

I don't really care if Hermione likes me or not so I just dismiss her

Fred's hand goes up and I say "You don't have to raise your hand"

He puts his hand down then asks "Can we see him?"

"Yes but not right now because he's under a sleeping spell and healing from his wounds" I reply

They all stand there again and I ask "Do y'all want to stay here tonight so y'all can check up on him in the morning when he wakes up?"

They all look at me for a minute then Ron says "Yes we would, right guys?"

Hermione chimes in and says "No I don't trust him what if he tries to kill us like his father did to Harry?"

I roll my eyes then look at her and say "Trust me Granger if I wanted to kill you you'd be dead already" all with a smile on my face

She looks at me and says "You could not"

I yet again dismiss her and I ask "It's getting late would y'all like something to eat"

They all nod and I say great and I go call in an order for burgers" (yes this may be the wizarding world but they still have burgers)

**Time skip to after they all eat**

As soon as everyone eats I know Harry's awake but I don't want everyone bugging him quite yet so I excuse myself and say "I'm going to go check on Harry real quick I'll be right back"

And of course Hermione says "Is he awake, I want to go see him"

I look at her and say "No" then walk away

When I'm almost out the door I hear her say "huh what do you mean no? No he's not awake or no I can't see him?"

I just ignore her and keep walking until I'm far enough to know they're far enough that they wouldn't hear me running

I sprint up the stairs as fast as I can and into Harry's room

He shifts a little and I run over to him and hug him

He stirs and says "Hey Dray" with a smile

I can't help but cry and say "You almost died"

He pulls away and looks at me and says "I'm not going to lie I can't remember much but I know it hurt a lot"

And I try explaining while in tears and he says "Dray calm down I can't understand anything you're saying"

And yet again I just pull him into the tightest hug I can muster and he lets out a little yelp and says "Dray if you keep hugging me this tight you're going to kill me"

I let go and say "I'm sorry" while sobbing

This time me pulls me in and says "It's ok" and I reply with "no it's not it's all my fault you're hurt because I brought you here"

He looks at me then touches my face and says "Draco none of this is your fault"

I'm just sitting next to him sobbing at this point then all of a sudden Granger barges in wand out and says "WE'RE HERE TO SAVE YOU HARRY"

Harry already stunned and confused looks at her and asks "save me?"

She looks back at him and says "Yeah we know Malfoy almost killed you"

At this point I'm mad and I say "I DID NOT"

She moves closer to me practically up in my face and says "We all know you're not past it Malfoy"

And as soon as she says that I feel the rage enter my body and I grab my wand

Hermione scoffs and says "What are you going to do try and kill me just like you tried to kill Harry"

I point my wand at her and say "Dornröschen"

And just like that she falls to the floor

Then the rest of the Weasley's come in from behind her

Harry looks at me and says "Dray that wasn't cool"

The Weasley's all look at me and ask "What'd you do to her?"

I reply "Just a simple spell to make her fall asleep she'll, unfortunately, be back awake in about half an hour"

Then after all of us looks back and forth between Ron says "Ok where can I take her?" As he picks her up like a baby

"The door all the way down to the left is a guest room, you can take her there" I tell him

"Thank you" he says

Then George, Fred, and Ginny and say "Can we talk to him"

I look over to Harry and he nods and I move over and they all come over to the side of his bed and start asking him a bunch of questions

I'm not actually paying much attention because seeing him smile after everything he's been through makes me tear up a little

Happy fourth guys sorry I haven't updated like at all for awhile life is hectic but hope this makes y'all happy, love you guys
