Chapter 10

NICO POV.

Sitting in my desk, i watched as the students filled into the classroom.

After 5 minutes of people arguing over which seat is theirs, everyone quieted down.

I started to speak

"I am Professor Di Angelo, and i will be your teacher for the rest of the year in the Dark Arts "

" We can start off our lesson by asking questions. First, you will all tell me your names and what house you are in then, you all may ask me questions. Are we clear?"

I got a few "yes's"  and "yes professor "

I walked passed the desk listening to the students as they said their names

" Neville Longbottom, Gryffindor "

" Cho Chang, Ravenclaw

" Hermione Granger, Gryffindor"

"Ron Weasley, Gryffindor "

The names went on and on until one stuck out

" Harry Potter, Gryffindor "

After hearing all the students names, i walked back to the front of the class

" Any questions?"

Immediately 20 hands rose

I called on a boy with blonde hair

" Pureblood, halfblood, or mudblood"

I responded quickly

"Halfblood"

I answered 10 more questions

I called on Harry

" What are you going to be teaching us this year?"

"I am going to be teaching you the pros of the Dark arts, how to defend your self physically, and how to use a weapon other than a wand"

The class was shocked

Hermione called out

" Professor Di Angelo"

" yes" i replied

" why don't we have textbooks for this class "

I quickly thought of something

"That, Hermione, you will learn when we start getting into the lesson"

I quickly glanced at the clock

20 seconds till class is over

I quickly raised my voice over the sounds of people packing up

" For homework you will hand in a 2 page essay on any Olympian Greek God"

A few groans and a very loud bell later, class was over, and i was looking forward towards the end of the day

I tried to look on the bright side of things

In 1 year, i can leave.
