Chapter Seven

Nico POV_______________________

When we finished apparating, we ended up in a class room.

Dumbledore looked at me"Now normally, we can't apparate into Hogwarts, but i took down the spell for a few minutes to let us in"

"This is your classroom, you are going to be teaching The Dark Arts. This may cause some confusion with the students, considering we have a defense against the dark arts course being taught be professor Lupin, but I believe the students need to understand what the dark arts is, to fully understand how to beat it"

He smiled

"The sorting and Dinner will be at 6:00 tonight, i assume that will give you enough time to set up your classroom, and maybe even plan a few lessons."

Albus took out a piece of slightly old paper and handed it to me

"This is a map of Hogwarts, so if you get lost you can use this, but i assume you will ask the ghosts?"

At this point my temper rose

"Ghosts?" I asked coldly

He nodded

"Yes, they are harmless, please do not send them back unless absolutely necessary, as they are needed here"

slightly annoyed, I agreed.

Albus pointed to the map i was holding

" feel free to explore the castle and outside of the castle, none of the student rules apply to you, also, you may find some secret passages"

I took the map, and placed it on the desk.

With that, Dumbledore walked out of the room

I turned back to face my classroom

It looked like a dark ballroom

I decided it needed some changes so i replaced the regular torch fire with bright green greek fire, and slightly opened the curtains to let some light in. I added some black bookshelf's to all four walls, which consisted of books on greek mythology, the wizard ing world, the dark arts, and the occasional war spoil in a jar.

Looking around the dark room, I noticed that  that there was no place for the students to sit. I proceeded to add rows of chairs that slightly looked like bleachers. (AN- Like a college classroom, but BETTER).

I walked over to my desk and found that it had a manual on it.

The cover said

" A teacher's guide to Hogwarts"

I flipped through the pages, ignoring most of them, when it landed on one that caught my eye.

• you may give and take away house points

•you may give detention

• you may make students leave the classroom

• you may make students fetch things for you

• you must enforce rules

• you may not show favoritism over the houses

On the next page it said

• you may not use the unforgivable curses at school, or on students

• you may not give unfair punishments

• you may not spread rumors about students

I decided to quit reading it because it was getting boring, and technically, I can say i didn't know of the rules if I break them, which will eventually happen whether or not I like it. 

I walked around my classroom, pondering what more to do with it.

I let Oliver out of his cage, after his annoying screeching sounds kept echoing throughout the room.

i walked over to my desk and sat down

After planning a few lessons i decided to explore the grounds

Since i had studied the map for like 10 minutes, i already new where everything was inside, so i walked outside

Within 10 minutes of walking, i reached a forest.

I assumed it was the forbidden forest

I decided to head back when a midnight black crow came flying towards me carrying a piece of paper

I grabbed the paper from the bird and opened the paper

Nico, I see you have gotten an Owl, which is a surprise considering the whole argument i had with Athena, but thats beside the point. Lets get down to business, Teach them well, or you will be spending a month in the fields.

I re read the letter

Wow

Thanks dad

I walked back to my classroom and put the letter in my desk drawer.

Looking around the classroom i noticed that Albus didn't tell me where my room is

Fuck

I turned around to see a door, which i then carefully opened, only to reveal a room with a king size bed, some nightstands, a window, and what looked like a bathroom and another empty room.

I assumed one of the extra rooms was a living room, which was yet to be furnished. As soon as i walked in, i knew my assumption was correct

After adding a couch, and some other decorations, i walked out, into my room.

I was about to lay down when i heard a knock on my door

I opened it to find Albus

He smiled, a twinkle in his eye

"The sorting is in 10 minutes, please follow me to the great hall"

I nodded, and headed out the door, following Albus into the great hall.

I quickly sat at the seat that said

Mr. Di Angelo

Within a few minutes, the large doors opened and tons of students flooded into the hall.

AN- this chapter took was really short, so sorry 'bout that. :/
