Fighting

(Again, not my pics)
~Momo~
A lot has happened lately. We went to summer camp and the villains, of course, crashed the party. Midoriya risked his life to save a young child. They robbed Ragdoll of the Wild, Wild Pussycats of her quirk. Bakugo was kidnapped. We had to go and save him.
Then, the provisional hero licenses exam took place. Of course, there was drama there as well. A Shiketsu High School student, Utsushimi Camie, was replaced by Toga Himiko, one of the most frightening villains in Yaoyorozu's opinion and also Uraraka's, who had told Yaoyorozu all about her and Tsu's encounter with Toga. Bakugo, Shoto, the real Utsushimi, and Yoarashi Inama had to do extra work to get their provisional hero licenses.
In the midst of all that, Shoto and I didn't see each other except for in class and we certainly didn't hang out as much.
It's making me very angry about not seeing him and also it is about that time where I am having some mood swings and mad at just about anyone and anything.
So, it's probably bad for me to run into Shoto as we are leaving class in the hallway. The hallway quickly clears out, leaving me alone with him.
"Shoto!"
"Momo," Shoto's voice became a tone higher at seeing me. Normally, I'd be happy, but I was boiling with anger.
But before I got to say anything, he seizes my shoulders and embraces me with a kiss. As he kisses me, his hands roam from my shoulders to my waist.
A smile is my instinctive response, but I cross my arms and stare him down instead.
"Where have you been for the past half-month, Shoto?! This is the first time you've kissed me in half a month!"
"I've been... doing hero stuff, you know what I've been doing. Bakugo and I both have to do extra work to get our licenses."
"Bakugo doesn't have a girlfriend that loves him, now does he?"
"Momo... why are you being like this?"
"Me being like what?!! You're the one who's been AWOL, MIA, GONE! I bet there's some flirt in a skirt there that you like. Perhaps, Utsushimi? I know she likes you."
"That doesn't mean I like her!"
I look to the side and blow air out of my nose.
He lifts my chin with his finger and says, "I don't know what's wrong, but I don't love anyone else but you."
"Oh, so something's wrong with me now?!"
I walk away from him, shaking with fury.
~Shoto~
I punch the punching bag with so much anger that though my knuckles smart at the pain, I don't stop. Father watches me with approval written all over his scumbag face.
"Alright, Shoto. Enough."
I hold onto the punching bag for dear life. Struggling not to cry. If Father saw me cry, all this pride and approval would be gone in a second. And I don't care whether he approves of me or not, but his nodding at me is better than his yelling at me, because I just might yell back at him.
"Very well. What happened? Yaoyorozu break up with you?"
"Not yet. We had a fight."
"Well, it improved your work. If this is what you need, fight all the time! Hell, every time you see her, call her a sl-t or something."
I want to grow ice on the tips of my fingers, make it into claws and then claw his eyes out with them. The bastard.
"Well, goodnight."
The moment he leaves, I break down into sobs, holding onto the punching bag, wailing into it.
I haven't cried since I was five.

The next few days of school are hell.
Momo won't look at me, speak to me or even gesture in my direction. Uraraka asked for the direction of Midoriya, who stood next to me. Instead of pointing in my direction, she said, "About ten feet away from Tokoyami's locker."
I understand where she's coming from, but...
It's not my fault, and it's like she's punishing me.
What I wouldn't give to play pocky with her right now.
~Momo~
"So, where's Shoto?" Jiro asks me one day while we walk home from school.
"Not here right now. We're fighting right now," I tell her.
"Are you fighting, or are you fighting?" Jiro asks with a knowing smirk.
I don't answer. Jiro chuckles. "He's been moping around school like a kid who lost his teddy bear. And my best friend, said teddy bear, is very stubborn."
"You don't get it. It's like he has no time for me anymore."
"You don't make time for him to make time for you, Momo." Then Jiro walked up the porch steps to her home and disappeared from my view.
~Shoto~
"Another training session done well, Shoto."
"Thank you."
"That Yaoyorozu did a good job staying away. Did you take the time to call her a--"
"Keep her name out of your mouth!" I lunge forward and before I know what I'm doing, I punch him in the gut.
He strikes me across the face, and once I fall onto the ground, he kicks me several times.
"Never... speak against my girlfriend."
From my position on the ground, I lift my right arm and send a wave of ice his way. I freeze him where he stands and slowly get up.
"One more thing."
With a feeble smirk, I raise my hand up. All my fingers are down except for the one in the middle.
"Bastard."
I walk away, not caring where it is I have to go.
--
I went to Midoriya's. His mother yelped at my bruises and asked Midoriya, "Is this a friend of yours, Izuku?"
He nodded, but his mother was too shaken with fear to let me in.
I went to Bakugo's, but received a great deal of verbal abuse by both him and his mother. His mother frightens me to no end.
I don't know where Kirishima and Kaminari live, and thus, head to Momo's.
~Momo~
A knock.
I'm wearing a t-shirt and sweats and I don't want to answer the door in my current state. I glance through the peephole and see Shoto.
Shoto?
Anger flares up inside me instantly, but I've also missed him, so I open the door, knowing he doesn't care what I look like.
"Momo," Shoto throws himself onto me, hugging me like I'm all he has to stay upright. He shakes with violent tears.
I grow alarmed and shut the door, leading him to my bedroom because I don't want Mom to see him.
He sits on my bed and places his face into his palms, still crying.
"Shoto, what happened?"
"My father has insulted you for the last time. I... I... I fought back, Momo. I hit him and froze him in ice."
A wave of excitement comes over me at the news that Shoto actually fought his garbage dumpster of a father. I hated him from the first time I met him and I know that he treats Shoto terribly... I can't help but be proud of my boyfriend for fighting him.
"I also ended up flipping him off," he mutters.
I hug Shoto, but he winces at my touch.
I pull his shirt off of his shoulder to see a large, purple bruise there. I gasp and cover my mouth with my hand to keep from screaming in horror.
"Shoto, are there more bruises like that one?"
He doesn't answer, so I know that it's a yes. I unbutton his shirt (he even winces as I do this) and I almost scream at the sight.
Purple and black bruises mar his chest and his stomach. I poke around like I learned at a medical class I once took. When I poke at his ribs, he cringes.
"Shoto, one of your ribs is broken!"
"SShssh," he covers my mouth with his finger, not wanting my mother to hear.
"You have to go to the hospital," I hiss under my breath.
"I can't go to the hospital, everyone will find out... I can't, Momo."
"Well, let me help you."
"Fine," he concedes, and he removes his shirt all the way, letting me see that there are bruises on his back, as well.
I'm glad I took first aid now. I run to the bathroom to get the first aid kit and I wrap a bandage around Shoto's broken rib. I give him ointment to apply to his bruises.
After I've done all I can done for his injuries, he says, "can I stay here tonight, Momo? I don't want to go home."
I nod without hesitation. "Of course, Shoto."
Then, everything breaks free. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry we've been fighting. I was just mad because you've been away... I missed you and my reaction was stupid. I'm sorry. I missed you and I love you."
"I love you too, Momo. I'm sorry I've been away so long."
Tears well up. I'm so lucky to have him in my life.
All of a sudden, he kisses me. He massages my shoulders and then slides his hands down to my waist.
"I've missed kissing you, Momo." He says in an explaining way.
"Me too," I agree.
But we can't make out; he's hurt and he has broken ribs. I could accidentally worsen his injury.
"I'm going to get you some pajamas--"
"Momo," Shoto grabs my sleeve and pulls me down onto the bed where he sits. "Stay." He leans his head on my shoulder.
I intertwine my fingers with his and we talk about things until I walk to my closet to give him an old T-Shirt of mine and my cousin's old shorts that he left here a long time ago and will probably never get back.
I tell him that he can sleep in the guest room beside mine and he goes there to change his clothes. After that, he comes back to my room to watch TV and eat snacks and make out.
I feel bad that he can't go back home, but I do enjoy having him here with me.
I know that it's time for the both of us to go to sleep when Shoto's head falls into the popcorn bowl.
"Goodness, Shoto!" I brush popcorn out of his hair and giggle at his clumsiness.
"Goodnight, Momo," he says to me.
I kiss him for a long time before I say, "Goodnight, Shoto."
Then we hug (I make sure not to aggravate his injuries) and he sneaks off to the room where he'll sleep.
As I slip into my covers, I think about Shoto. I'm not sure if he'll be here long or if he'll go home soon, but I'm going to do whatever I have to to make sure he's okay.
Hope u enjoyed. <3 Make sure to vote and comment I have #6 in Kamijiro! :D
